Set out today to do some puzzles etc. but am regretting it now. Spent way to long on this one! Firstly the puzzle had me on the wrong tangent - finally I clicked and the geo gave me a tick. Then at gz the gps was dancing about the place so I set up my search grid, grabbed a stick and just started going for it. Evidently I wasn't as methodical as I thought searching everywhere other than where the cache was located... Well I wasn't giving up and round two proved to be the trick. *head in hands* #smiley4me Cheers Geckoh... I think
Over in Tauranga this evening to unlock the final souvenir we need: the puzzler. Took a nice quick stroll across the park. Arrived at GZ with a few hints from TNXPro. Took a quick search, and there was the cache. Nicely hidden away. Was hoping to drop in a TB but the cache was a little too small.

Finally found time to knock this one off after solving the puzzle months and months ago. Took two attempts today though, cos I left my phone in the car and didnt have the details to pinpoint the location. GPS coords were not very helpful as kept sending me to the wrong (but more obvious) location. Got there in the end and happy to earn a puzzle souvenir. Thanks for bringing me here.
Finally picked this one up on a very rainy tauranga morning. Thanks for the puzzle.
Had this solved at home in Motueka before we came North on holiday - having got here discovered for whatever reason I hadn't corrected the answer on G-Sak or cache page !!!! AHHH lol so sat and resolved it - headed out with my non caching sister navigating - soon were at a likely looking spot and after a quick search had the cache in hand - log signed - thanks for the cache
Had a few technical hiccups with this one although it was worked out somehow it missed being corrected on our sheets so a quick work out again and copy it to all the necessary places . Staying with my non caching sister in law she navigated us to the area we needed to be and we went in to grab another smiley TFTC
Solved this puzzle a while back we were in Tauranga this afternoon so three of the kids and I made a slight detour to collect this on the way home. Thanks Geckoh.
Once Kiwisalsita and I worked out the puzzle for this we got the co-ords and Keltic-Kiwi and I found fairly quickly TFTC
Cool little theme to this puzzle, found while in Tauranga for Christmas holidays. I used to play here loads as a kid, thanks for bringing back some cool memories
Surprised myself by solving this one, not an area of expertise for me but luckily I have solved a few along these lines and knew where to look for the answers.

#4977 We had headed south to Tauranga from Auckland with Coruze, Kiara001 and TrooBloo to specifically try to capture a couple of webcam shots - all other caches found along our travels were bonuses . We weren't sure what parts of town we would find ourselves in so we tried to solve a few puzzles spotted here & there the prior evening and on the way down in the geomobiles. Initially got some co-ordinates and put them aside thinking a boo-boo has been made - a further look a little later with another debriefing lemonade under the belt and the geo-checker said "Yes" . So it was all systems go and we arrived to find GZ clear of any sporting activity - ran down the long white line to make a caching touch down . The cache was found well hidden and in good condition. Our thanks to Geckoh for the puzzle and fun. Cheers from Australia [^]
While in New Zealand for the Mega we decided to do a day trip to the 'Bay of Plenty' for a bit of rubberneckin and a couple of caches. Of course we couldn't as many caches as we would have liked. We were looking to see how many caches of a different kind we could find while in the area. This puzzle was solved by team skullracing the night before as we solved a few before we left and on our way down in the car Lovely area and the cache was found in good condition too, lucky for us there wasn't a muggle in sight! (Would make it easier if they were all muggle free )
Thanks Geckoh for the puzzle, location and the hunt.....Cheers!

Coruze, Kiara001, Skullracing and I were all heads down
solving puzzles in our holiday home in Torbay.
In our attempts to solve this one, the Queen came up trumps.
Corrected co-ords were put into gps in readiness for a trip the next day.
We arrived near GZ and found an empty park, muggle free, lucky us.
Wandered over to GZ found and replaced the cache.

After a bit of a Geocaching drought, we managed to find a bit of time this afternoon.
Had done the puzzle some time ago but hadn't had an opportunity to get this one until today. Had the coordinates in the GPS but not the notes but decided to have a go anyway. By the time we had neared the GZ, the few remaining brain cells I have still functioning managed to dredge up the hint, so quickly on to it and away. Only a couple of young muggles in the park today.

I solved the puzzle quite some time ago and made this one of 'must finds' to seek before leaving Tauranga. I found the original hide right where I expected to find it. [^] Thanks for the puzzle.
1.25pm- Started by entering wrong co ords so GPS had us all over the place, once we realised our error soon had cache in hand. SLTFTC
190 - Nice puzzle to solve thanks! i thought this was a really tricky little one to find, took me waaay longer than it should have.

so it was a quick find. Thanks for the puzzle and the fun solving it.

Went back today and found the *other* cache, it's in the right place according to the hint but we somehow missed it the other day, our apologies to the CO! We have now signed both logs.
After NZKites DNF we went to check on the cache on the way home from the Waikato,
checked where I thought the cache was and it wasn't there so I replaced it with a small camo'd bison,
as we were driving away from Tauranga we got notification that the cache had been found yesterday......
... DOH,
I must have checked the original spot and not the replacement spot, now there are 2 chances of finding it.......
Good luck
Might remove the bison when next in the area so it can be placed elsewhere.

Well that explains it...!! We had contacted the CO and when we saw another find was logged, thought the cache was either there all the time or had been replaced. So we headed back for another look this afternoon (Sunday) and quickly located the bison - we thought maybe we had misunderstood the hint as had been looking for a larger container in a different spot - but this one had a brand-new log sheet, which *really* puzzled us. Thanks Geckoh for checking on this for us, we feel better that you couldn't find it either! When we're in the area next we'll go back and look again for the other one!! Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
Mrs S solved the puzzle quite a while ago and today we decided to convert that pesky question mark into a smilie. Found the correct place and wandered about checking things before reading the proper hint.
Mrs S was reading the wrong Geocache on her iPhone. Silly woman.
Still we wandered about looking in the wrong place.
Returned to the Geo4WD and had another look. Aha...Mr S had input the wrong co-ords...Silly man.
With the correct co-ords in the GPS we had another go and viola. There it was, just where it should have been.
Thanks Geckoh for the cool puzzle and the cache.

Solved this puzzle a couple of days ago, we were also surprised by the result before we 'got it'. Had to dodge muggles at GZ today, but then unable to locate the cache despite a good look in the area the hint indicated.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We were down from Auckland for a weekend in Tauranga and picked up a few caches in the morning before heading across to the Mount for an event. Solved the puzzle during the week, coming up with co-ordinates that felt like they were in our back yard (soon figuring out their significance!) then ran them through geochecker to get the necessary hint. Arrived at the park and headed off to GZ and soon found the cache! A clever puzzle, thanks for the cache!

Second find the day. Was a bit tricky to figure out exactly which was the right place to look but got there in the end! Looked there the first time but just not hard enough, found on second look.
Enjoyable puzzle to solve which was done a long time ago. Finally got there. Nice and quiet at GZ
Many thanks

On a very secret squirrel mission this evening...
Had attempted this puzzle some months ago. Was confused by the result, so shelved it. Was talking with Mrs Spiderhouse over the weekend, and something she said put things into perspective. With clarity, I quickly sorted out the puzzle. This was brilliant... when I got the green tick.
Ambled in on a pleasant Autumn evening. Left notes in the car, and too lazy to track back. Begun a search then realised I needed help, so resolved the puzzle in the field (iPhone is great for that). Thanks to the hint, a quick find. TFTP and TFTC.

Awesome day nice park....few people round so had to wait a while... left a sticker took a star.....
Just solved this one. Love it and have never done one like this before. A fun way of finding the final coords
Totally dropped the ball on this puzzle. Got off to a good start but failed to convert to anything useful. Thanks for the nudge! Stopped off for a quick grab on our way to kids' soccer tournament. No-one else mad enough to be awake this early on a Sunday, so an easy find. Now off to find some coffee! Tftpc
Had this solved a little while ago and took the opportunity to pick up a smiley as we were passing by. The Team Mascot greeted us at GZ and helped secure a quick find. The hardest part was persuading the mascot not to come home with us, which took a great deal of trickery. TFTC
Our research for this one scored us a green tick some time back but the cache had apparently been kicked way over the goal posts by a muggle. Returned today and located the new hide and scored a smiley TFTC.
9325… No longer Subdued, and we managed to penetrate the hide and scored a smiley. Thanks Geckoh for a cool puzzle and cache.
Scored with first try at Google which gave us an advantage in converting the puzzle to a tackle at the knock-on!!
TFTC Geckoh!!
TFTC Geckoh!!
That was an epic mission. Had 11 family members helping crack the code before 11 of us proceeded to march down the road to search the reserve in the dark. Was good fun!
Yes!!!! I was one of the 11! We had just two torches...it was dark, wild and threatening to rain. Just before we gave up one of our group spotted the tiny canister!
A nice easy find but thought I was going to get blown away with the wind while filling in the log.... TFTC
We really enjoyed solving this puzzle. As we were down this way for the weekend we thought we would grab this and a few other caches. Never been to this part of Tauranga before. Quick find. TNLNSL - TFTC!
Excellent puzzle that we solved before heading down this way on holiday. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
Quick find after not such a quick but clever puzzle. Thanks for the cache. Another interesting spot to visit.
Had a great weekend of solving puzzels where they seemed to fall into place, (doesn't happen often) so of course had to make this the lunch stop between calls,TFTC
Had help with the puzzle. Been sitting on this one quite while, good to have a win.

Credit must go to Mr L for solving the puzzle a few weeks ago. Arrived at GZ and realised we hadn't written down the hint. Oh no! is that FLAX BUSHES we see !
Common sense then prevailed, and the cache was luckily soon in hand. Whew.
P.S. Mr L thanks you for a puzzle he could solve .

Well ...had the boots and jersey ready! Somehow a Saturday seems the right day for it!
Thus: a stunning solo run down the side line, a superb touchdown by the corner post, and nzyetje scores the 3rd try!
Thanks, Geckoh. It brought me to a part of Tauranga I hardly know. On a glorious day, perfect for playing a game!

Yay yippee! Like "Pumpkin Guy", I have just solved my first- ever puzzle cache..well, one of Geckoh's involving a geochecker!
I am very proud of myself ...always avoided them like the plague! Mentioned to "Mac Ross" yesterday that I liked the eye-catching page, and here was one I might finally be able to do! Told him to "watch this space"!
There you have it..I solved it, and unfortunately couldn't go there before going to work today (sometimes you have to turn up to work on time!)
Roll on tomorrow!
Thanks Geckoh, I've enjoyed doing it so far, and have my jersey and boots ready for the game tomorrow !

After a stunning solo run down the sideline, with constant support on my wing by Mosh the Rugby Lab I managed a superb touchdown near the corner post for the second try on the score sheet. Well done on an interesting twist to the puzzle genre
Solved the puzzle at home then locted the cache at night. No one in sight! TFTC.
Hmmm, I do like what you have done with this one Hopefully get it this weekend !
We had just arrived at the new Glenpark Reserve cache when this puzzle was published. Quickly made the find there, then began to solve the puzzle as we headed back towards the city. Found a good spot to park, and completed the solve. Co-ords looked interesting so we did a geocheck to confirm we were right and to get the hint. All good!
Relied on the car GPS to get us to GZ . . . big mistake! Some time later we arrived at the correct spot. Made the find at 11.30pm.
FTF # 430 Thanks for the puzzle and the late night adventure Geckoh!
