Found on a early Tuesday morning walk. But as I got to GZ found log scattered all over the place and a white tube. As I was picking up log found a camo container lid.
Not sure how it was originally, but in a pile at Gz.

#821 - Day three of my trip down the coast for some caching fun! Today I decided to attempt some hides from a variety of cachers and not Gonefishen07 exclusively.
After finishing my first walk of the day and collecting 17 finds, it was time to go on my second walk. After parking at the huge wind turbines at the end of Campbell street, I set off and was able to find 21 of the 26 caches that I set off to find.
Thank you to the CO's for the hides, I had a very fun walk with what was once again a wide variety of caches and hides as the sun went down.
This rat had to be heavily persuaded to come out of his drain pipe! Tftc, cool one.

Found a drain without a rat, then explored some more and found the neat little cache. TFTC
Found what I though was the drain pipe - then found the real rat! Well placed hide. TFTC
TFTC. Decided to attempt caches in the Wetlands around Wonthaggi today. Lots of walking on a cloudy day. A clever hide. Deserves a favourite.
A lovely little log container.
Nearing the end of monitoring our Scouts on their 30km hike.
Thanks.

Drove to Wonthaggi, to pick up a few more caches on the local walk trails.
Parked close by, and took a short walk in this nice area.
Cache was found after a short search, in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, know-mads, for us and others to find.

First find and we're hooked, off to find the next one! Beware of bull ants!!
This was yucky. The rat might not have been real but it still made us go 'yuck'.
[font=Comic Sans MS][Green]I'm heading eastwards on a day caching in and around Wonthaggi with Square_Pegs after leaving Melbourne early this morning before sunrise. Later on, I got the opportunity to find this cache in good condition. What a surprise it was to find this here.
It's been too long since my last visit. Thanks know-mads for making this an enjoyable day exploring

That is an interesting feature! I am amazed at how COs find all these different places to hide caches, and this was one of them.
The tracks through here are great and it was so much fun exploring them.
Thanks to the know-mads for this cache.

We enjoyed the walk along this trail - tree cover provided dappled shade on a beautiful warm day. We saw no one else on the trail. The different hides certainly kept us entertained. This was one we were able to find. Thanks to know-mads for placing this cache.
Melbourne parties Friday noon and returned Tuesday morning in Melbourne. I came here to make different trail of caches in the area. It was intense few days with my bike but very nice! I could find caches with superb camouflage, very good ideas from the cachers. This log will be the same for all caches that I made (sorry) But I want to congratulate in particular:
Nut bear & BorisB & Natasha for "Bay Trail" and "Red Hill Express" (Beautiful cover!)
The Three Amigos Geo for "The Pathway"
Gonefishen07 for the great "Rail Trail"
As well as other geocacher who I discovered several caches during these few days.
Thank you very much
Greetings from France
I will be at Mega event with my friend who just especially France also "Ckronos"

With the weather forecast promising us quite a nasty hot day we were out and about early in search of smilie faces. Spot on co'ords led us straight up the drain pipe, winning a favourite point.

Down at our caravan this weekend getting some painting done before the Xmas holidays. Needed a break so decided to head down the road for some caching. We walked to this from Heating It Up.
The cache is heavily guarded by an army of resident bull ants that live on and around the stump. Geo-husband fended them off with a stick and kept the kids from getting bitten while I hurriedly signed the log. And we get the heck out of there. Thanks for a fun and interesting cache. Very cute and innovative.

After having a great time Gonefishen07s Springtime event with again headed off with the Coffee's grabbing a few caches before heading for home. After safely parking we headed along the path following the needle to gz. The GPS gods were playing tricks on us today as we ended up walking passed gz and searching in the wrong area. Not too long later the GPSr settled and we all headed back to where we should have been and had a nice easy find and also something we didn't expect to see there. Our names were added to the log and we headed off to the next one.
Found with Team Crackers after the Spring meet and Great event, Parked the car and headed in for a nice walk in the bush. Funny how when we got close to GZ the 3 gps sent us all in different directions.
Thanks know-mads for the cache,

Found the pipe, but not the rat. So, found the 'pipe' with crigithis. TFTC know-mads.
Parked the car and ventured into nature with La Mina, and the first thing we encountered was a couple of muggles with metal detectors. Huh? I thought that the gold rush was a bit further north of here. They did find some nails, which I'm sure will come in handy for something.
Arrived at GZ, and started the hunt. After about 10 mins, I spied something that looked a bit suspicious. Closer inspection revealed something that resembled what I'd read in some previous logs, but it was empty.
Went home and emailed CO with a description of what we'd found, and the CO said that we'd found a significant part of the cache, but it did appear to be incomplete. CO did suggest that we log a find due to the bit that we had found, and that they'd have a look in a few days.
Thanks know-mads for bringing us here. Nice, quiet spot!

This morning we decided to focus on caches in the immediate vicinity of Wonthaggi and visiting them gave us a far better appreciation of the area. It took a little driving around before we found a suitable location to leave the car at walk to the cache. After a short walk, we were lucky to make a quick find. We were amused by the cache container. Thankfully, no ants today. The cache and it's contents were in good condition. TFTC know-mads and for giving us a reason to visit this part of Wonthaggi.
Found on another fantastic TDC night. I appologise for the very late generic logs, I left for a trip to England shorhtlly after this night and have been playing catch up ever since. There were some fantastic, inventive hides in the area that I really appreciated. Thanks know-mads for the cache
Another fantastic TDC caching night in the Melbourne and down to the Wonthaggi area. A lot of caches found, including Keep It Moving. A night filled with laughs and good company. My appologies for the late and generic log, have had personal issues to deal with, and still sorting them out, so trying to catch up now. Thanks to all CO's for their hides.....
The co-ords here were spot on. A quick find.
Thanks

On another very cold night the planned route for The Demolition Crew was into the Wonthaggi area to make a dent in the unfound caches int hat area. The trip started in teh eastern suburbs of Melbourne and took us south collecting some caches as we went. With lots of laughs, it was to our surprise that a well known D5/T5 moving cache had the co-ordinates updated in the area. It was then a mad dash in the middle of the night to sign that log, before we continued the planned route into the wee hours of the morning. These winter nights can be very cold, but at least this time it wasn't raining. Thanks to all the CO for placing and maintaining their caches. We had lots of fun finding and signing. Cheers TR.

I dont usually like rats but this one is kinda cute, the drainpipe is exceptional. TFTC
Found on a final drive around the area to pick up a few last caches in the quiet of the night.
Just before dark and no muggles around, thankfully.
I spotted the ants nest and then it was a quick find. Nice hide.

With the long weekend, Channel Challenge, Vintage Bikes and Markets on the Island, and the Kilcunda Lobster Festival all on today it was not going to very cache-finding-friendly, so it was a good time to visit the microvial-cache-capital: Wonthaggi. It turned into a most-of-the-day effort getting to each of the caches in and around town (and then a few more on the way home), but it was a good day out.
Parked in some shade at the start of the walk and took a nice stroll through the bush, managed to take the right turns and soon arrived at GZ. Once close the hide-location became more obvious and the cache was easily found. Luckily I took a step back after retrieving the cache, because a number of very large and very angry looking bull ants swarmed up out of the hole I'd just pulled the cache from. The bull ants crawled over and into the cache container and tried to attack me when I tried to clean them out and return the cache (lucky for combat-style-cache-gloves!).
Thanks for the interesting cache.

Just a note for future visitors:
The cache-hide-location appears to be a home for large angry bull ants.
Please be careful when retrieving and replacing the cache - especially with children - so that you don't get bitten.

This was a clever hide in a really nice part of the bushy area. once located the GZ used a stick to avoid the bul ants. becareful with this one. no problems extracting and really liked the name. TFTC
Trying to catch up finds from months ago, apologies for the belated log.
Found in the company of Coley_Babee, Alansee and Muzza.
Massive ants guarding the cache! They didn't like their home being disturbed.

A nice short walk to find GZ in the rain. Loved the hidey spot but got a surprise as we retrieved the cache and bullants came out of their home to meet us. Having recently been nipped by a bullant we were very cautious returning the cache. Thanks for the cache know-mads.
Found the rat in his quiet hiding place. There's lots of lovely walks around here that we're discovering through caching. Thanks for bringing us here and the cache.
KTCvic ventured out on a Gippsland Gallop today rounding up approximately 40 caches. What a fantastic day it was too, as we were able to soak up some rays as well as the views, as we made our way eventually to Cape Patterson.
A full log will follow to give your cache its full dues but for now this copy and paste will have to suffice.

A short stroll through this heavily wooded reserve took me to an area that had seen a few cachers.

After grabbing a ftf in town I decided to clean up some caches in the Wonthaggi aera. Love the cache. Sl Thanks Know-mads for the cache.
Find #250, shame it was in such an obvious position. Made for an easy find but nice camo. Placed back with a bit more care to conceal the container. TFTC.
We found this cache as a part of a non-stop 24 hour caching run with Marcus Vitruvius.
We logged 207 caches in the 24hr period, and this was one of them.
Enjoyed the hunt and the camo on the cache which was located after a quick search.
Nice walk down here too. TNLN SL. Cheers

This was another find today as part of a 24hr caching run that yielded 207 cache finds with Haveanez. Given the title we weren't exactly sure what we might find at GZ, but after a nice short walk in from the road, we soon found out. A nice little camo.

It was rather nice in here but my pleasure in finding the cache was allayed when I was bitten on the hand by a bull-ant. Yow. Several days later the bite is itchingly annoying. I wish I'd read the cache logs now! Never mind, it was a new caching experience! Thanks for the hide.
A fun day out caching in the area with Spladem on a hot day. Came down for the event and the chance at some FTF's. We where not sure what to expect when we got to this one but soon the reason for the name was apparent. TFTC
One of many after attending the event with C@H, This trip took in 2 FTF's a ride to a waterfall, the sights and sounds of the seaside aswell as many small towns and catching up with lots of cachers old and new.. Thanks Know mads for the hide (and many more that we will soon make today).. TNLN find #2019
Yup the keepers of the cache are bullants, bullants, bullants, but they allowed us to borrow their demigod just long enough to sign the log.
Found at 4:32:31 PM GAFF5 in the company of Ian and Penny. Yep - there certainly were some bullants coming out. Not sure if the cache was supposed to be buried that far, so we left it slightly exposed to give cachers half a chance.
Thanks know-mads

Found it in the very first place I looked. The bull ants came up to say hello but I didn't feel like playing with them today after being bitten by a bullant a week or so ago.
