Alas, after many years of service, I think it is time we retired our last cache from geocaching.
It's been a real blast people, and I have loved getting to know some of you. You are an amazing community, and, who knows, maybe I'll see some of you around some time!
Until then, this is Team Engage, signing out!

I think we might have opened a Telstra box from one of your neighbors. Could have been a great place to hide though, but it was empty...
Had a previous night time look for this one, with no luck, so paid a daytime visit on the way through town today. Still felt uncomfortable nosing around this little street, and with no sign of an obvious hiding spot, will log a DNF
Flying in from Sydney today just to collect some of the cache - treasures of inner Adelaide ...
The webcam was my main reason to come , because this scarce type of geocache is not available in the Sydney area ...
But Adelaide has a lot more to offer !
Made my way through Adelaide (14 km on my two feet ) and was happy to find some really nice caches, decorated with a lot of fanpoints [^].
At the end of the day, the 'catch' included 14 caches of six (!) different types and a nice little sunburn on the arms ...
Unfortunately there was not enough time to go for a multi-cache and a wherigo [B)]. Probably I'll have to come again one fine day .
Thanks to the Adelaide owners for the nice boxes, the webcam, the earth cache and the virtual [:X]. You made my day! [:X]
Cheers from Germany!

In town for the TDU. Even standing on the cross bar of my road bike, this was a stretch. Thanks for the hide.
Found with the help of a previous cacher and a handy ladder. It's always the time when you try to be quiet that you really fail t being quiet.TFTC
A Mrs Rat took a gamble on not being eaten by the 2 snakes.
So took Brisal5 for protection.
Back here tonight with a previous finder.
Whilst the Snake went back to the car for the ladder.
Mrs Rat and Brisal5 devised another way to get the cache.
As I was on way back to the ground I balanced and landed awkwardly on my right knee.
When we signed the log, I hobbled back to GZ and allowed the snake to replace the cache. TFTC

It appears that some wonderful cacher has replaced this one for us. Many thanks to whomever it was!
Was broad daylight today when I searched, so I did not wake anybody.
Had a quick scan for the container, but couldn't find an obvious location. Due to the previous logs and that there are people's houses nearby, I chose to stop looking and log a DNF for now.

I had no luck finding this cache today so I phoned a friend that had found it. He confirmed that it is not where it should be.
Found it on the ground surprisingly, based on the hint and previous log, I tried to put it to where I think it should be, hope it can stay there.
A nice quick find here - nice to wander the back streets.
In Adelaide for about 24 hours for work so today I spent the afternoon caching Adelaide. I managed to walk over 15kms and my feet are now killing me! What a beautiful city - some gorgeous buildings and some very cool caches. Many thanks

Rolled into the lane at midnight with a diesel engine to double park. After getting out the car, realised I should have paid more attention to the cache name !! oops.
Apparently didn't disturb anybody.
TFTC !!

Probably shouldn't have turned up in a loud diesel at nearly midnight!! Don't think we woke anyone though.. Needed ILLOGITECH's height to get it! TFTC
Found in a quiet corner of the city. My neat extendable magnetic tool came in very handy TFTC
I spent the last three month in Australia. During this time I was looking for some geocaches. This Geocache was one of them.
On the 24 hour plane journey to Adelaide, I was cursing my height, but this cache reminded me of the advantages of being 6'2". TFTC!
Found with Normanville who logged too soon. Went back to car to get something for elevation. We both logged. TFTC
It had almost been 2 year since my last breif visit to Adelaide and agin I finally found myself wandering its strets at night. This was the closest green dots to start my night caching adventure and as I drew closer to GZ my memory suddenly became much clearer.. i had visit this little cul-de-sac before! Obviously my previous attempt had ended in a DNF and I was worried I might undo me agian. I read some previous logs and reread my own DNF for a good laugh. Thankfully tonite was a quick find but I am certain there is no way that was there 2 years ago!! Perhaps i just have a more refine caching sense now?
My previous DNF log:
Thursday, 17 July 2014,
565.1 km from your home location.
Attempted on a nightcaching spree through the CBD with Bri_poi. After a few wrong guesses I think we DID wake the neighbors... oops! so we decided to leave this one for now. Thanks for showing us Victorians around the more secluded parts of your city
Thanks again

You'll be pleased to know that I didn't wake the neighbours!
This one was quite visible when I went behind the post, shone my torch and looked up, however there was no way I could reach it. A stick assisted in it's retrieval so I could sign the log, however then I was faced with the dilemma of how on earth do I replace it??!!.....ahhhhh a pair of long handled bbq tongs from my car enabled me to get it back up there
Thanks for the cache!!

Looking in the wrong area for a bit, but some light searching and we found it. Certainly elevated our spirits. TFTC
Bike riding again after work, this cache in a very nice, quiet part of the South Western corner of the outer CBD was a nice and easy, quick find on my way to another Cache near West Terrace which perked my interest when observing the Geocaching map of ADL last night. Found this 'elevated' cache on Fri. 6 May. SL at 16:05. TFTC Team Engage
Found during a cache hunt on a beautiful autumn sunday afternoon in a nice and quiet CBD.

Got to GZ and looked, widened search slightly and there it was TFTC 2/04/2016 9:48 am Find #1235
Have looked for this one before unsuccessfully. Today was a different matter. It was spotted a lot easier in a spot where I don't believe it was on last visit. TFTC. 2/04/2016, 09:48 Find #2019
A desperate find from Bek-theraccoon and I. After DNF'ing a cache we looked for earlier (even with tips) we were getting pretty worried that we weren't going to find this one too. After expanding our search it was Bek-theraccoon who called BAZINGA on this one. Also due to some construction going on nearby I wouldn't call this a shortcut. TFTC
I wonder if this was in the intended place. I've been here 3 times before and not found it. This time, I was on the phone, and spotted the cache well within a minute. Retrieved, signed and replaced while still on the phone. TFTC Team Engage.
my backside has just about had enough of this free biking business. so a sit on the bench was a welcome relief. for a dead end street this was a busy little place on a sunday afternoon, muggles all over the place. Mostly home owners, smiling hello at me while I pretended to be resting. as soon as the coast was clear I leapt up to get the cache, signed, 'rested' again, then replaced and was on my way, much to the disappointment of my rear end - but I have to get the bike back to the starting place after all.

We very nearly left this one as we thought the cricket match happing in street was the area we needed to be in.
But it happened to be the street next door.
As tall as I am, I still needed extra height to reach the cache.
A nice area to visit, thanks for the cache Team Engage

So good caching on Australia Day in the city with clare007, very few muggles...made searching so much easier.
There was a very vocal backyard cricket match going on in the next street over...great to see people enjoying the outdoors doing whatever activity they choose to do.
A lovely little garden area in this neighbourhood. TFTC Team Engage

we looked high for this one for a while with no luck then found it laying on the ground with the log alongside it. Given the previous logs we made a guess about where it should be and put it back, but it is pretty visable so not sure it is the correct place. If the CO could investigate that would be good. Cheers. MODU.
found it with gps, came before with phone and it had me 15 metres away from gz. Lucky for me I carry 2 milk crates in back of car for cito ( cans and bottles ) so they got turned into the correct geo tool.
Having scoped out the area on a weekday while her car was being serviced, and with the confirmation of a PaF that it really was THERE, Owl came back prepared with an appropriate geotool, Izwalk as a lookout and a big stick. Quick, simple and mostly muggle free on a hot Sunday afternoon.
Very clever. Had to be extra quiet due to it being 1:46am but we had an advantage making me glad to walk a cane for once TFTC.
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Had visited this one previously but was a little confused as the GPS was pointing me to a spot with no obvious hiding places. Back today and this time the GPS was pointing to a completely different area and it was a quick find and I did have the correct equipment to get this one and thankfully it was completely muggle free. Retrieved, signed log and replaced it in its hide and retreated to the car to continue my lunchtime errands. Gratias pro cache.
Couldn't find straight away but a nice lady guided us in the right direction and a nearby tool helped us retrieve it.

Grabbed on the way back to pick up car after being serviced. Quick to get but a few goes to get back. TFTC.
Had some trouble returning the cache to its position because we are short!
Finally
Have been past before, but either didn't have the right access or the cache was missing.
Today, with Cal we had the right access and the cache was there, so as I put him into position for the cache he was able to make an easy find
Used the nearby pole as a fireman's pole to save having to bend all the way down to drop Cal and the cache off
Quick sign of the log and then repeated the process to return.

Cheers

This is the second time I have tried to find 605A and Don't Wake the Neighbours on a lunchtime walk, and the second time I have failed to find either of them! [xx(] They have both been found by others between my visits so I'm sure it's just me. I might be back.
After a lovely dinner and a few puzzle caches found in the badlands Ismartis and I decided to call past here on our way home now that this cache was back online. We had been here before and were pretty sure we knew where it should be.
So a quick walk to GZ, a couple of geotools and the cache was retrieved and signed at last. Replaced then back to the car and off.
Thanks for the cache Team Engage.

Ismartis finally gets to log this cache after a lengthy search back in October 2014 with JJ52 proved fruitless.
Tonight they returned for a quick retrieval, sign and run, having previously sussed out the correct hiding place.

Classic hide - yes it did take a bit of ingenuity to find it. Bring stilts or a state basketball player
It took us sometime to try and search for the cache. And also several tries to get it back in the hiding place. TFTC!
Lucky I was able to hoist one of the kids up to grab this one, don't know how the shorter of us would go with this!
Cache replaced! Only a temporary log but you can write your name on it. IF a friendly cacher happened to replace it with a sealed proper log, we would be most grateful!
Just a quick note to say that I haven't forgotten this cache, and SHOULD be able to replace it tomorrow.
If not, I am moving back to Adelaide in early March, and will have ample opportunities to get this up and running again then!

Thanks for the reminders! I had forgotten this cache, and had thought that a friend had kindly replaced it!
I am in Adelaide on Wednesday, so will replace then.

Temporarily disabling while we work out how to replace! We are down for xmas, so should be back up soon.
Second attempt ... and no sing of the cache
We suspect that muggles replaced it with nothing !!
We'll be back !!

Was out tonight with Ismartis and we decided to stop off here with the required geotools. We had been here before but didn't have anything to retrieve the cache.
Arrived at GZ and knew where the cache should be as there is only one place it could be.
We used our tools but came up empty handed. [?]
We think this one is gone and needs to be checked.

This was my 2nd visit here with JJ52. On the first we identified the likely spot but didn't have the right tools with us. Tonight we returned with the right tools to find there was no cache in the obvious location.
We think this one could do with a check up by the CO.

Very sneaky. Even I'm not that tall! Used implement to retrieve and luck to return. TFTC!
Couple minute scout. But sure enough more effort to collect and replace than to find. Still bring your own pencil. TFTC

Well I had a day in Adelaide before flying home to Brisbane so I decided to revisit this one as it was in such a pretty area. It is a shame that someone has taken the Telstra cap off the box on the corner house and not put it back. That is only likely to be a cacher. I had looked at that as an option last week but immediately dismissed it as there were obvious wires going to and from it. The lid needs to be put back by someone tall, it was sitting on the railing underneath! Back to the cache, I sat down on the seat and looked down the laneway and saw the cache. It was quick to knock down but then I almost had a panic attack with the idea of putting it back. Lucky my throwing arm was working and I didn't wake any neighbours (who should have been awake anyway at that time of day!). I am glad I returned and turned my blue sad to a yellow smiley. It is such a pretty spot. TFTC.
A day in Adelaide to do some caches before heading off to the Flinders to ride on a camel trek. I couldn't find this cache. It was a shame as the lane way was so cute and the houses so adorable. I couldn't see anything that looked like a cache so I moved on after a bit of time. Thanks anyway.
