Logs
As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner attention for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Very obvious where it should be and hasn't been found so pretty sure it's been muggled
Nothing at all in the pole today ..... Must have been a good cache back in the day !
This one definitely requires maintenance. Only the lid remains so we signed our initials inside the lid as way of proof of the find.
Found it, but it needs maintenance. Holder is missing, just screw on cap is hanging around! Just arrived in NZ, our first caching attempt:(, nice area!
Found the lid and cable in the pole, guess somebody didn't screw it on right enough. Need new log obviously.
I was in the area for a Sunday drive and decided to collect some caches while doing so. Although I found the "remains" of this cache, there was nothing to log and unfortunately this cache really needs some maintenance.
So just logging a DNF to avoid others trying to find this cache until it is up and running again.

Originally logged and found whilst out with mum (keylev) but now have own account so logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Thanks for the cache.

Found lid only for this cache - logbook and bison seems to have been muggled. I have pictures if you need them.
Found the remnants of the cache (lid only) so logbook has gone so couldnt sign it. I took pictures if CO requires them to be sent through.
Easy drive and found. We loved the location and the little extra we had to do find the cache. TFTC
I found it out of its hiding spot and without a log. Thought that it would need a bit of maintenance so I left a fresh new log and hid the cache the way it should have been hidden. TFTC
Found it, indeed it is a highly muggle populated area. Does not contain a log book when found

Thanks lukeduke1 for the cache,
Quick find as part of the cache was on the ground - put back together, but no logbook unfortunately.
Great hide though.

Dear cache owner. Have attached a bison cache to the string. Can you please go and check it to ensure it is attached properly as I did it very quickly with muggles around
Well we found the lid!! As the other entries have said - the rest of the container is not there - possibly well down in the arrow!. TFTC
The only thing accessible is the string - so this needs a visit by the CO to repair
Looked around for the cache though we discovered that it needs to be replaced as the container has been lost.
Found this easily enough but was very hard to sign as the log was very wet & had turned into pulp... unfortunately we didn't have a spare log sheet on us today.
Always enjoy these types of hides. Had to dodge a young boy riding his bike before grabbing the cache. Only just managed to scrawl my name on the log as its very damp. TFTC!
quick find on a loop drive by before lunch. tftc.
NOTE: The log is totally damp and needs replacing. I might do it before we leave for wellington.

Ingenious hiding spot and fixing . I read the previous logs and brought along a temporary log for use until the maintenance happens. Sure enough, the previous logs were papermache. I placed the cache upside down in an attempt to prevent water getting in. I hope it works. TFTC
dubious to attempt this one due to exposed location, but hey-ho,,,everyone else did it. with cars passing all around us, thankfully- a quick find. love these types of caches. log book a mushy mess. sorry didnt have a replacement with me. TFTC
Quick find on a quiet Sunday afternoon, although the log was pretty wet inside the cache. I didn't remove it for fear of ripping it. The log will do better dried out and inside a plastic bag or inside a small container in the main one as moisture is getting in somehow.
Quick find today in an area with some amazing views, pity about all the houses going up, but then you can't stop progress, All quiet, TFTC
Easy find, Then while wondering how to get it out spotted the obvious. A Der moment. Loved it, TFTC
Easy find, forgot my ink stick so had to take it back to the car to sign. Not much traffic, got a little careless, a driver saw me on the roundabout, but not too close to the cachesite.
This is a very tricky spot as it is surrounded by muggles homes. No muggle saw me (well not that i know off) but there were two young lads that were looking for it as i was logging it down the street. Not sure if they were legit or what. Just letting you know. Hopefully it is still there.
Did not look at hint and had some trouble finding it. Unfortunatley two boys skating by yelled out "ARE YOU GEO CACHING?". Umm was the reply but how else do you explain what your doing standing in the middle of a round about. "We'll show you where it is" was the reply. So technically did not find it i guess TFTC
found it easy forgot to bring a pen so did not get to use the note book fun....fun.fun
Needed a cache today to fill a gap in my caching calender.
After a DNF earlier today I drove out here as this was on of the closer to home unfound ones.
Nice area with friendly neighbours.
One of them even came out and we had a chat about geocaching.

6959 Lots of arrows to choose from, but found it in the first one we checked. Nice hide, TFTC.
Out with the Future Finder today finding caches in Beachlands and Maraetai. Had a good idea what I was looking for as I approached GZ and sure enough, a super quick and easy find. The five year old even signed his own name in the log. Cheers for the cache!
This one is 46m from home so the whole family had to take the short walk to the round about as the darkness was starting to set in. Managed to find it just as the GPS finally found the satellites. Quick find just before putting the kids to bed. There is not too much traffic down this side of the road so should be ok. FTF # 86. TFTC
