Found it in the first place I looked. That doesn't happen for me very often.TFTC
On the road today, heading home from Melbourne after a visit to one of our grandsons for his birthday. Plenty of trucks coming and going, so had to choose our time. Sad to find the logbook wet and full.

Found this one on my trip from Phillip Island back to reality (Melbourne). I was looking for more isolated caches and this fitted the bill. I was a bit disappointed by the cache as it was found on the ground with a damp to wet logbook. Managed to sign the log but this one needs some attention.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Trusted my GPS and the cache was in the first place i put my hand!! Always a bonus to have a nice clean hide and find. Wasn't sure about muggle activity, couldn't see anyone, but there would have been muggles behind the gates. TFTC
First for the day- third time lucky? Log cute but nearly full. Needs replacing.

Not so much a case of 'Didn't find it' but more a case of "Couldn't look for it"
The Bass Gas man at the Weigh Bridge was watching us way too closely.
Thanks for the hunt anyway know-mads .

A quick find once all the muggles had moved on.
Thank you very much for placing a cache here.

I was in the area today and figured it wouldn't hurt to do a cache. I was just about to jump out of the car thing this should be easy and i noticed muggles in the paddock and the side of the road. They were walking around with clipboards and phones. Who knows what they were doing but I suddenly became a little conscious of them wondering what I was up to and I didn't want them to think i was a terrorist or Greenie activist or something. The co ords were jumping around so it was hard. Anyway I figured they had seen me and geo daughter and we didn't look like the terrorist type so I relaxed a little. I was just about to PAF as it was starting to rain I could not get a fix on the co ords and once again was worried what the muggles were thinking and as the phone rang out I made the find SL TNLN TFTC TBV
It was a beautiful day to be out finding some great caches with BorisB&Natasha.
It was very quiet around GZ today which helped us find the cache in the first place we looked.
Thanks for the cache know-mads

Out for another fantastic day of caching with Nut bear.
Managed to pull up right next to GZ and had the cache on hand in seconds. Our second find for the day and our easiest one of the day.
Thanks know-mads for the cache and teaching us about the area.

Found in a matter of minutes, arrived at knock off time for the workers and had to bail until they were all gone. Cache was dry and attached safely to hiding place. TFTC.
Found today in the company of Lisette and Jellybean. Unfortunately the cache was on the ground so the log book is saturated. We signed our names and replaced the container to where it should be. Hopefully it stays there and the log gets a chance to dry out. TFTC
Worked here since 2005 and have been driving past this cache since it was placed in 2011 and never knew LOL. TFTC!!
This one had fallen from its hide position and was very wet. We dried the log a bit with the car heater before signing at 2:15pm with 4MAAL.

A very quick find, considering it was lying on the ground when we arrived at GZ. Cover of log was a bit damp, but dry enough inside. Replaced in the spot it looks like it would have fallen from. TFTC.
Quick drive by...found with Geoteen#2. Damp inside cache. Wiped out & able to sign log. TFTC
Found today while out and about with the Geodog. Not a soul was to be seen today which made this a very quick find. Have often driven past here and never given the place a second glance. Signed log. Thanks for the cache know-mads.
Nice quick find on a nice drive out to the country. Thanks for bringing me here TFTC!
We were heading home after a fantastic holiday in South Gippsland today.
There was still time to grab a few caches as we worked our way home.
Thanks to the owners for them.
Easy find here and very quiet.

Ah, at last, an easy find. There was no-one around today so it was even easier. Your hide was on the ground for some reason, and a bit wet - put it back where it was supposed to be. TFTC.
We hadn't driven on this part of the South Gippsland Highway for a long time & didn't know this was here. Thanks know-mads.
Quick stop on our way home from weekend scout camp. Easy find. TFTC. TNLNSL. KeMs
Visiting at night gives no doubt about the location around GZ, it's lit-up like a huge Christmas tree - something I've never really noticed that much from the freeway closer to the bay. The GPS was a little slow updating position so by the time I stopped I was past the weigh-bridge thing, I presumed there might be cameras and stuff, but parked the car out of the way and walked back past the flashing green light. I presumed that the cache would be on the other side of the road, but once the GPS directed me to GZ, the cache hide location was obvious and the cache was a quick easy find. Thanks for bringing me to look at this interesting facility.
Things were totally deserted today, so made for a quick find. Thanks for the cache.
My big geodog says "if not for you I may have pooed in the car".
Thank you for giving us somewhere to stop that wasn't someone's lawn. On our way to tarra valley and so far it's been too dangerous to stop. Tftc!

On the drive back to Melbourne from completing the Bass Coast walk decided to take the long way back by zig-zagging my way north thru the back country roads until it would be time to gun it home for tea. Some nice clever hides found this afternoon as well as some nice classics and thru out this part of Victoria there are just some amazing views seen. I'll be back to do more of the region soon, a great afternoon.
The final find today and a nice drive by too. However once back in the car and checking the map for other caches 3 muggle cars approach from the nearby gas works and asked if I was lost? Why do I always get asked this... Said all was cool and they were happy with that and then drove off. TFTC know-mads, didn't know this place was here.

Ha ha....I was out of the car, made the find and logged the book before GSD knew what was happening. I was searching for the next cache on the GPS before she realized that this one had been found!
A lovely (hot) sunny day with no school and the day off for day1976 - perfect day for caching. Our day started with a morning rush to get out of the house, then calmed down as the day progressed. At 4:30 we finished our hunt with a stunning 14/19!!! (stunning for me (: (:)

On a day out in Gippsland, we stopped off at this one for a look around.
With a short detour off the main road this was a quick park and grab.

Was passing by this one just before 6:00pm and discovered a steady stream of vehicles passing for change of shift.
It took me a few minutes to find because I thought the obvious spot was TOO obvious! Another facepalm moment.

Been a LOT of rain and water running in gutters here. Not sure if cloud was messing with my gps but the only obvious spot had nothing there?
We had heard of Bass Gas before but had no idea of the expenditure or infrastructure that had been put in place until today. We've driven passed this area many times and not even noticed the sign so it was an eye opener to pull up near gz and actually see part of it.
Thanks know- mads for the cache and for the information

An easy drive by, what a great facility! Our uncle used to work for the french company with a facility here. As we continued our journey we spoke of the the different gases... in the end it was more methane from the back seat....

Out today doing a cache run down the Bass Hwy to Wonthaggi. Heading back home now I decided to cut up through the hills to Lang Lang. Last find for the day and a nice quick driveby as well. Nice hide and a quick sign of the log and back on the road to home. Thanks for the hide.
Finally found with Thing no2 and Hearse068. We have tried three times to do this cache but every time there were muggles. SL TFTC

Find number 1 of 25 today. Fast facts with The Empire: Did you know that natural gas doesn't smell? They add that smell to it in a factory like this one so you can smell it if it's leaking. Thanks for playing... and thanks for the cache know-mads.
