Logs
Saw that this cache had been replaced so I had to pop out here to redeem myself Thanks for replacing the missing cacheTFTC
Based on previous logs, the hint and the COs Write Note.I found a very likely spot for the hide but it was empty TFTC
Found easily whilst heading home from a CFS course in the area (a delayed log as had poor reception in the area at the time, and then forgot about it until a mate had a DNF recently).Clever hideDeserves an FPTFTC
Great hide, fp awarded. Rather busy road here, no cruising at all. TFTC Cruiz-n.
Found it! Busy little junction today caused a few funny looks in my direction. All good in the end. Its a great morning to be out and about finding caches! TFTC!
Clever!! Caching between Littlehampton and Mt Torrens today with Lola the dog.Based in the Adelaide Hills for a month, so what a great way to see the sights than with geocaching.Cruiz-n, I found Five Bob, Five Shillings or Fifty Cents today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.* * * * * * *SAs Leap Year Event - GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Keep looking up!
Well that was a little bit of fun. All good here today as the rain started to fall. TFTC
It took me far too long to spot the obvious, and once again, the hint made perfect cents after I found the cache. The log is wet, and the canister was half full of water but I was able to write with no problems. Nice one, TFTC.
Quick stop here today cache is all good
Today with an event on in Mt Barker I set off early in the day for a full days caching. Starting in loberthal and making my way through the towns and back roads as I went. Managed to get 55 finds and see 3 brown snakes at caches.
Thank for the cache

Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Cruiz-n for t he cache.
DNF's this previously in the winter of 2018, and found it today thanks to the note from the CO. Maybe it was the long grass that didnt help us back then???
Found on an unseasonably cool and foggy day. Log stamped.
Log was dry.
Good to turn a prev DNF into a smiley!

Checked it out and it is still there. Look very closely at the base of the sign for something in the name as the clue suggests.
Ducked out to do a few caches around here and this was the first of 5 for the day. The cache was quickly found but unfortunately the log book was soaked and I couldn't write on the paper. Took a photo for evidence if need be. TNLN. Cheers.
A wet day in the hills, so not a bad time to hit some of these (usually) dusty backroads.

Three geo animals were out and about finding boxes.
Took a biy of searching in the long wet grass.

The Adder found the cache. TFTC
The Adder was honoured to be invited out by two lovely ladies. A Rat and an Owl to grab a few hides in and around the Mount Barker area.
The Owl designated the Adder to be the navigator however she was not one to follow the directions given and had her own idea of how to get to the various Ground Zero's, quite often taking the wrong turn or the long way around.
Well that was easier than we expected with the overgrown weeds covering GZ. A clever little hide though.

a truck driver has to take a 15 minute break in the first 5.5 hours, then take a 15 minute break before 8 hours and either two 15 minute breaks or one 30 minute break before 11 hours. This was found in the first break. Found on the return from site about 3 km's away. Found due to the hint since the grass is close to knee height. Log damp but able to scribe name. quick find.
Checked on cache after the Cudlee Creek fire. It survived and is still good to go.
Yesterday while speaking to brisal5, he mentioned a walk along the Amy Gillett bikeway between Charleston and Woodside and as I hadn't done many of those caches, I asked to join him[?][^]
Rex and I had a sad drive through the Cudlee Creek, Gorge Rd and Lobethal area to Woodside as we saw how much damage had been done by the fires [xx(] along one of my most travelled motorobike ride routes and it sure does not look like it used to [xx(]
During the walk with brisal5 he replaced 7 out of 11 geocaches as they had been burned! [xx(][^][:X]
By the end of the day I had 22 smileys from 1 attended Welcome TDU Cachers 2020 event and 21 cache finds. Sadly there was also 2 DNFs as a result of the bushfire in the area [xx(]
Although that was really 3 DNFs but 1 was my own cache and Mogni kindly [:X] gave me a spare container so that I could replace my burnt Creek Views cache [^]
I also managed to finally find 2 previous DNFs and so that made me smile even more [^]
This (and the next cache down the road) were previous DNFs amongst long grass and soursobs
Today in blackened and burnt flat ground[xx(], the find here was exceedingly quick and easy

Another Thursday out with Doctor Owl and sushilord and we headed for the hills so Owl could complete some maintenance as well as finding a few caches along the way. [^]
We looked here, we looked there, we read the hint and then after looking more closely at a place we had looked before the cache revealed itself.
Thanks for the cache Cruiz-n.

Owl's last caching expedition in Australia, so she thought she'd make it a maintenance run. With friends. And extra caching. And some DNFs off the books. All in all, a great day out with JJ52 and Sushilord! This was looking like a DNF, with the trio scratching their heads at the lack of hiding places. However, a different kind of scratching came up with the goods.
Came from Sydney to visit an old school friend. He happens to live on the adjoining property. He has seen people looking for the cache, wondering when one of us will disturb the brown snake there.
Found with Aussie M & M.
An aborted overseas trip led me to South Australia and Mary was kind enough to offer some company and acted as chauffeur in exchange for lunch.
The original plan was discarded due to the weather and we just roamed in a sort of meandering Southerly direction.
A variety of caches were found before heading to the city for lunch.
I pulled the pin at lunchtime due to extreme exhaustion from a poor nights sleep.
It's no fun caching with a zombie.

Nice day so hopped on the motorcycle to grab a couple of close caches. TFTC l liked this one. Very cool
Found @ 10-35am with Poppadon. Found after giving serious consideration to the hint. Log totally saturated. Not able to sign. Needs new logbook.
Found at 10:35 AM with XBRmob. Found 70 cents and some water with a bit of log in it.
Impossible to sign log, needs replacing.

Found this with CherryRose on our afternoon out caching. Our escape from bookwork on a cool but sunny afternoon. TFTC TNLNSL
Both of us looked for about 15 minutes but must have had a massive case of cache blindness - couldnt find this one - putting it on the DNF list
Found while out hunting my usual traditionals in the Nairne area. Was a good day, 29 trads, 2 puzzles but also 2 DNFs.
Spent quite a while looking before resorting to a PAF line to make the find. Log is a little damp.
Not quite a simple drive by, think difficulty should be higher than the standard 1.5.
Thanks for the cache Cruiz-n

What better way to spend Mother's Day than to enjoy a trip to the Hills to find few caches! A clever and appropriate hide. TFTC
Out and about with 1sickazza chasing the last needed points for the Space Explorer souvenirs. TFTC.
I headed out today to get some planetary points, so I tracked down this highly favourited cache. Nice camo Worth another Fav point!
Stopped by today and found this one. Good to get a previous DNF off the list. Almost a year since my last visit.
Thanks for the cache Cruiz-n. Found on 9 Feb 2018 at 7:05 pm. Find #5778.

Had a good look today. Even got up and close to the sign to inspect it closer. No cache seen.
Finally after a week or so of biblical weather the sun came out. So I grabbed the GPS and headed for the hills .
Thanks for the cache!
We've had two DNF's on this one during the previous three years, but our most recent visit until today got me thinking about what we were actually looking for. A kind word of encouragement from the cache owner confirmed the style of hide I'd imagined.
Today we happened to be in the area, so we returned to finally add our name to the logbook. It wasn't all beer and skittles though, and still took a while to find it. It seems to have gained a certain patina that makes it blend in really well, and it was only located by touch. After signing the log scroll, it took a few seconds to see the lid that I'd only just put down on the ground at my feet!
The cache is all in good condition, with the paper only slightly damp, despite the amount of rain we've had lately. We're glad we've finally laid this nemesis to rest.
Thanks Cruiz-n.

We DNFed this one nearly three years ago, and we had the exact same result today. We couldn't locate too many possible spots to hide a film canister.
With seeing the previous DNF's this cache had us a little worried, but we did not need to be. First we looked were we thought it may be then read the hint and looked where we then though that it might be and lo and behold before our eyes a cache materialised. A clever hide and we should have know better as we have a cache hidden in North Queensland using the exact style of hide, with one small difference, the cameo. SL TFTC
Today we are off to the TDU event at Hahndorf so we decided to leave a little earlier and grab some caches along the way as one does : ) a quick find as we passed through here. TFTC
A late afternoon getaway for a few caches with Mattycat, last visit was by torchlight and we missed it not so in daylight today found it almost straight away, cute TFTC Cruiz-n
Out for an evening's caching with the Froghoppins.

A very nice hide except for the ants. I do not like ants fortunately they were not inside the container. Very cool container btw. TFTC Cruiz-n
