We were supposed to do a whale watching trip today, but it got cancelled as the whales were outside the area. Instead we set off to find a few caches. Glad we made a quick find as it was very cold and windy here today. Tftc

This cache was a nice, quick find at a lovely rest stop I wouldn't have otherwise found. TFTC!
A quick find under an impressive tree. Contents of cache nice and dry. TFTC
Found during our picnic lunch as we relocated from Kirikiriroa to tautahi. A quick easy find! Ground pretty boggy! TFTC!
Found during the way from Waipara to Kaikoura. Beautiful place to have a rest. TFTC
Yay! TFTC! I came all the way from Vancouver BC Canada to find this cache Thanks for being part of the adventure!
A small detour on the way back from a family gettogether nearby, not sure if the cache container is going to survive very long, thanks for replacing and TFTC.
On our way back from Kaikoura, we were looking for picnic spot. As usual I opened my geocaching app. This place looked like a good candidate and it was. There were no cars when we arrived. We found a picnic table by the lake. Lots of ducks and swans. Then off to the cache. Easy find once my muggle dad understood how to use the GPS and took us in the right direction. Mr8 was busy climbing, so I found a logbook. Reading the logs, I realised that might not be the cache, but there was nothing else around to sign. This needs some maintenance as the container is missing.
Was going to drop off a trackable duck
But seems cache not there, although throwdown log and bag are

Pulled in to visit the area, a peaceful spot
Wandered down to GZ for a search, and after a bit of a explore decided the cache must be missing.
I have left a bag/waterproof paper, and tucked it along the trunk of the lying down tree.
If the next finder has a pill bottle? a bit of TLC
Thanks BruceAndLisa for the hide, and for bringing me here. I hope the replacement is OK?

A beautiful little area to stop for a coffee break.
There were a couple of muggles around, but not near gz.
I left a pet rock - a dog.
Thanks for putting this here for us to find

Quick detour off the highway to check out the lagoon. Dropped TB
Malinkaly and I planned a road trip to go to the MEGA but Covid has postponed the event again. We decided to continue on with our planned journey making adjustments as we go with the ever-changing travel restrictions. On the home leg now back to Dunners!
Thanks for the cache, CacheSenseNZ

This is a beautiful area! Lovely!
The cache was quickly found. I took the liberty of liberating smelly and moldy trading cards and a packet of ketchup.... The log is also wet and a bit moldy as the zip lock bag is ripped. But was still able to sign easy enough.

*** Out on our MEGA Roadtrip with Wilbywarrior. Who says this can only happen when the MEGA is actually held?! Greetings from Dunedin, caching friends

Off on a road trip to Chch for the weekend. With limited time and raining on and off. We still managed to get in a bit of caching along the way. Down the East cost and back up the West cost was the plan but stormy weather put a stop to that. With no roads open to get home on we stopped in Kaikoura for an unplanned extra night. So thank you for for the caches you placed out there for us to find we had fun and frustration finding them along the way. Looking forward to the next trip to find the ones we missed. Apologies for the cut and paste.
Always so peaceful here beside the humming highway. Great hint and coords led to a quick find. Tftc.
Super easy find on a stunning Autumn day. Great place to pull over for a chocolate fish
Nice big cache in good condition. Thought we better not let the dogs out, so didn’t stick around for the lovely lake. Tftc
Decided this morning that a day trip north was in order so after a quick stop in Cheviot we stopped here to make the find. Thanks for the cache

An easy find with @peadub while on our way to the Picton Ferry and home. Exactly where described. Thanks for placing a cache at St Anne's Lagoon. We probably wouldn't have stopped here if there wasn't a cache. What a little gem! Saw some ducklings too. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
Awesome break in driving on the way to chch. Happy muggle photographers enjoying the area also.
Hoped that someone would have left a cache here, and happy we were right. Kia ora for the cache.
(# 6009). Day 3 of my South Island odyssey. Today is getting caches from Kaikoura to Christchurch. Woke up to a fine frosty morning with views of the snow capped ranges. An uneventful trip down. I like these spots. So picturesque. No problems with muggles as I was the only person in the reserve. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
Such a great spot I've never managed to properly explore despite coming to Cheviot and Gore Bay all my life thanks for bringing me here! Will definitely have to return when I've got a picnic packed
Day 2 of our Sth Island (substitute for Seattle) trip - Kaikoura/Christchurch. This was a nice place to take a short break. Thanks.

Great stop on my travels. Don't go beyond the circular track, muddy enough to put my Rav in a tail spin! TFTC
What a beautiful place! Autumn makes it even more beautiful with the falling orange leaves waw! TFTC
Great location and views. Cache is hidden in a perfect wee spot. Cache container is dry and big enough to put collectables. Thanks for the cache
