Logs
Took a shortcut to the cache by driving down the street at the back of the park and after following the GPS in circles, we searched the surrounding area and couldn't find the cache anywhere. We eventually gave up, so either it's really well hidden or it's missing.
Looked everywhere in the area, had to do some pretend tying of shoe laces and similar when a dog muggle walked past with his human, but still no find. Must go back for another look sometime.
Well after looking in the wrong place as our gps wanted us to thought we would widen our look & there it was lying on the ground, so signed log & rehid it. Wish we'd had our gumboots, or could have come in another way we didn't know about. TFTC
Bearing in mind the previous log I knew this would probably be a challenge. It was like looking for a needle in a haystack, so gave up in the end.
With two hint objects in close proximity to the coordinates, it took an age to find this, but success occurred just as we were about to give up. TFTC
The grass was quite boggy on the way to GZ, it was in the second of the objects we looked in.
The in-car GPS lead us to a parking place around the back of the park. Crossed a small bridge into the park and soon found the cache. Thanks.

We came in via the petanque area (there was an open day going on) but then found that GZ could also be accessed from the other side of the creek.
Took a while to track down as out GZ was nearer to another hint object and there were lots of hiding places.

Had a reasonable attempt at this one. Didn't over do it with muggle activity nearby. Will try again another day.
Easy find on a clear and fine day. No one about so made for a quick find. Signed log then replaced. TFTC
didnt relise how big the park actually was and we seen a huge fish in the creek it was massive what an adventure
Found twice. Forgot to log on last time so thought I would return to collect the date of orginal visit to sadly find that a replacement was needed in a new area due to muggle. Therefore logged on again.
A very quick find by magicmannz, he picked the right tree and the right hidey hole. Thanks for the cache!
#787. We had the area to ourselves and took about 10 minutes to locate the cache. Lots of little hidey places, but systematic searching at GZ uncovered the cache. TL, TFTC.
Wombatseeker, this cache has been muggled. I check a couple of times a week be cause it is a high mugggle area and have a new cache to replace the lost one - sorry, but you beat me to it.
All instructions remain the same, except that the container now has a white screw cap instead of a green one.

No sign of the water cress gatherers when we arrived, but their boxes of watercress were still there. GPS was a little unsure here, but we soon found the treasure. TFTC
Water cress gatherers were watching . had to time my grab and quickly returned. TFTC
Had a good look up and down and all around the GZ, but to no avail. The are looks to have been cleaned up recently, could the cache have been a been muggled?
Took the long way in only to see we could have driven within a few metres. Quick find. No-one around, no sports action, very quiet. TFTC.
We managed to drive as close as possible and wandered over. This one took some time to find but a little persistence paid and the cache was found. A tricky hide.

Found with Tramper Ted and geodatum during our caching day out together in Levin. We wondered if the new footbridge and walkway now give access to the park from the western end?
What - no Christmas presents?! Cache a joint find with edvern and Tramper Ted today. Geodatum is intrigued by all the "George's" caches - any particular reason? TFTC
Access now possible from the western end. Passed the petanque players on the way to the cache. Found without too much problem. Increased housing development might make this area a lot busier in the future. TFTC
Finally found this one - was almost ready to bring the magnifying glass (or get my vision checked) TFTC
Find #694. For the 23rd find today, out of 36. We approached this one slightly differently than what was stated in the description, we continued around onto Queen Street, and then did a right onto Barry Curtis Place before parking up near Yusef Way - where there is now a new bridge. Simply walk on over and the cache is right there (don't forget you have to search for it however!).
It actually took a bit longer than expected to locate the cache because the plastic bag on the outside made it look like rubbish - the plastic bag may seem like it keeps the water out, but it actually exacerbates the problem, because moisture condenses on the inside of the plastic bag and makes the cache a lot more wet. Oh well, nice spot and good bridge! SL TFTC.

Came from the other side to avoid workers and construction site at entry to park. Took a little longer than it should have to locate but got there in the end. TFTC
NZ11. Apart from coming in from the back this was a nice simple one. Thanks.

Christmas was there alright but I DNF in what I thought were possible hiding places..
Was in Levin and saw this cache and decided that it was a good time to go and grab this one, arriving in the park and the weather was putting a dampener on thing, but this was good as due to the rain it was keeping the muggles away from the park. This was good for me as there were no muggles in the park, after waiting for the GPS to settle down, I found the cache quickly in the first tree that I looked, was quite surprised how well this cache was hidden, another great little spot for a cache, would have never known about this side entrance to the park if it wasnt for caching, thanks for bringing me to this lovely little walkway to the park, TFTC TNLNSL (03187)
Followed the auto routing which ended up being an easy quick walk to GZ. Found in the first place looked, nice park.

My GPS was suggesting a closer starting point, but I followed the cache description and took the longer walk, only to discover the GPS was right all along! A quick find in the second item of interest I checked out.

Coords were good and I found in it the first hint object that I looked (for looked read stuck my hand into and felt around for while hoping not to grab either wetas or spiders) in without needing to turn on the torch. It seems quite a few of the Wellington cachers may have made the trip up for the Balloon event today. TFTC
well i did it FTF a well hidden cach ( felt a bit like Indiana Jones - looking in and putting hands in areas not the norm) but a well planned cach and i welcome you and more to set up cach in Levin TFTC { 8 - )
