Out caching with ziggiau on this beautiful Boxing Day. We made the area around Warragamba dam unsafe and had a great time! All the best for 2018 for all the COs!

First cache for today and the first one turned into a DNF. Oops. Not the first and not the last!

New owners in the shop and the cache has been removed so will not be replaced.

Came very close way too many people around to search properly... Some other time

Spotting a munzee sticker always seems to confirm co-ords are good for a traditional cache so after a few minutes adjusting my eyes in the strong sunlight, let my fingers do the searching locating a container and a magnet attachment that seem to have come adrift. Not sure how safe they’ll be apart but signed and returned as securely as I could.

With a bit of time up my sleeve while heading home today I hit this area for a number of cache finds. Next stop for the day, and a quick find was had - always happy about that ! Signed log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.

05 September 2016 12:23:13 OK I hate cut and paste logs so will try my best to add a little something different to each log I post. Code 1 and myself were out on our annual caching run weekend. So some of our logs read both names but to save room on micros and nano’s etc we used CJ1. Like most of our past trips a little homework was needed to work out a suitable location, route and to build lists and PQs, with this done and set we found our self’s in the Camden location. A great range of finds and styles were located with a great deal of questioning over some of the posted difficulties and terrains.

Enjoyed a day of geocaching with Ausfeet, the nephew and the Aussie Greythounds.
After breakfast we decided to make our way up to Warragamba Dam, have lunch, grab a couple caches then head home. As all geocaching days go, plenty of detours on the way.

Quick stop to figure out our way to the letterbox cache. Made the retrieval while Ausfeet plotted some sort of start point for next cache.

Today was my caching day for the weekend as yesterday I was busy with a huge charity event in Bondi. I he'd west from Greystanes to hit Luddenham, Wallacia, and Warragamba. Found 18 caches with a few DNFs. Thanks to the cache owners for placing the great caches.
While eating a hot sausage roll I made a quick find.

Wind was blowing a couple of the movable signs over while I was there with muggle replacing them. Nice hide tftc

3rd find today with Coybear2000. We were in the area for an ANZAC Day service. My GPS was playing up and I walked straight past the hide. I turned to see C with CIH. TFTC

I was able to spy the hide quickly once I had engaged the geosenses.

Stopped into the shops for pies in the morning and a cache in the afternoon.

Found with the geofamily after visiting the spilling dam.

After a picnic lunch we headed to the shops for a quick find.

The geo-widow was having a girlie day in Penrith with her best friend today, so I came along for the ride and took the opportunity to do a caching run to Mulgoa and Warragamba. I ended up here after the lunchtime rush (if there is one) so was able to make a quick find without being much concerned for muggles. Thanks for the cache Booos, and for another smiley too.

Well, it's the shortest day of the year. And I've been cooped up indoors for a lot of the previous four days. And it's been raining steadily the whole time. So what better antidote to both than to try to find the most caches I've managed to grab in a day - before the sunset ends.
The best target for this attempt is Mulgoa / Warragamba / Silverdale - the haunt of The Boos.
In the end, I succeeded with 25 finds (how people find a lot more than this in a day without a power trail or a Mega Event baffles me).
But I'm happy with the finds - the last as the last embers were fading from the clouds on the western horizon.

Stopped at the shops, but before grabbing lunch, grabbed this cache.
Instant find, but took a few minutes for some muggles to move on before I could make the grab.

Took well away to complete signing duties, and thankfully the replace was quicker than the grab.

With a Saturday off work, it was time to join with Mr Hancock for a mighty day of caching, a total of 52 for me (a few less for him as he kindly waited whilst I redid a few he had already covered).

Nice quick find here. We had already decided that with the heat and the length of time we had been out for that a beer was called for. Excellent location for a cache given the circumstances.

Loved the icecream from the nearby shop! Thanks to MrL for that. The town was quite deserted this afternoon which made for an easy find with Skyebomonkeytown. Another TeamBooo cache completed. Thanks.

Was in the area with Calypso62 and geoboyfriend for some new year caching and by now we needed some ice blocks... Oh look, a cache! Geoboyfriend went and purchased said ice creams while C62 and I wandered to GZ, both of us found it at exactly the same time, approaching from different sides.
