thanks for the cache drawp. The bike ride up here was very pretty today. The autumn colours are wonderful and a few old planes flying over for entertainment, Not that it was boring. Muggle Kev wanted to come to the Warbirds - first time in 6 years and we didn't realise until a week ago that there was a need to buy tickets and there were were only tickets available to practise day - Friday. So I thought yah a chance to do some caching. Grabbed my bike and set off. The trail was quite busy with runners as well as walkers and some others biking.
The complete month march I am travelling on both Islands. Christchurch heading south, next the westcoast.
AbelTasman-Wellington-Rotorua-Hahei and finally Auckland.
This was one of the caches I found; thanks for showing me the area.

We found our way down the bumpy access track to the carpark. No one else in sight. Pretty hot today & we were glad of the shade at GZ. Cache soon found. Thanks for bringing us out to this quiet spot by placing a cache here.
Stayed at the historic red bridge and decided on a short bike ride to grab the caches close by.
Nice hide.

2. cache today on my bike trip. Few days ago I moved to Luggate so could start a loop there, find another cached in area. Finally I finished in John Creek due to strong wind + pain in lower back + a small snack .
End if a lovely walk. Surprise at gz as a small lizard was hiding on to the cache under the you know what. Took care to persuade it to move over. Tftc.
Up in Cromwell for the week and it's the start of the museum Mystery challenge and this is one of the caches I need to find. TFTC
Another hike and cache day in New Zealand together with D4nielB. On our hike on the Upper Clutha Track and back on the Newcastle Track we looked for some caches near our path.
We found this one easily - everything fine with the cache.
Greetings from Hamburg, Germany.

Today Jul1ane and me did a 32km hike up the Upper Clutha Track from Alfreds Town towards Luggate and via Kane Road back the Newcastle Track. It was a great tour, and fortunatly with very little rain, most of thetime we had perfect weather - sunshine and a light breeze. On the tour we of course also searched and found some caches.
Another cache found easily.

Well we intended just to go for a sedate bike ride to get 3 caches on the Clutha river track. It turned into a 16km mountain biking trek from near Luggate all the way to Albert Town!! Also was really hot and no wind to speak of so we were exhausted when we got there. Got the 3 caches which was the important part! Thanks!
Biked here with the 15 year old. Easy find so no idea why it hasn't been done for a year when the nearby one have. Great day for it and lots of cyclists about. Tftc. Cache in great condition.
Found it! A great day for a geocaching walk with the kids, not too hot. TFTC
A cycle ride out on the Upper Clutha River trail and return on the Newcastle trail. Superb weather and an excellent ride with good scenery. 54Km of pleasure! A few caches as well!
Discovered this was a great spot to watch the Warbirds practice day. We had planes flying right over us. Not to mention the fabulous views and the brilliant weather. We had a great day!

I biked the hole loop from Wanaka to upper clutha and new castle track. Really beautiful and sunny day. Thank you for the cache! Greetings from Finland.
Have a new geocache app so took a bit of working out. However finally found it. Great hiding spot. Lovely river views. Thanks for hiding
This a place well worth visiting, thanks drawp! A spectacular bend, and knowing that Reko and Nathanial Chalmers went down the river on a claddy stick mokihi.. rather them than me, we'll stick to the bikes thank you. Onward to lunch at Devil's Nook.

It started raining during our bike trip at this point, but we were still motivated to look for the cache. Thanks for hiding!

Nice drive, and a short walk. The MTB tracks around here look great fun. I think I'll be back Cheers Gav
As the weather forecast for Cardrona was rubbish today I decided to bike the Upper Clutha Cycle Track and seek out the caches along it. This cache was first stop on the ride. Thanks for the cache.
Another exciting access point shown to me that I hadn't known existed. Used this track to collect both Reco caches. Thanks drawp.
Pleased to get this as thought GPS batteries were very low. Neat bike ride on this lovely sunny day TFTC
Enough caches along the bike track to make a good excuse to make a trip of it. Really great day out. Thanks.
A quick easy find after driving along the interesting road from Short Cut Rd, followed by a short walk on a very windy morning, with spectacular views of the river, and the “castle” on the hill. TFTC

Found while biking the Upper Clutha track - we enjoyed the spectacular views from here, TFTC.
Lovely bike ride on a nice day. Much better than when we rode it the first time on a wet day in June.
Took the kids on a wee bike ride and knocked off a couple of caches along the way. Awesome trail. TFTC!
Drove to the nearest carpark, not many rabbits about this morning.
+ a marble, - nothing.

TFTC. Quick stop and grab on bike ride fron Luggate to Albert town. Great track.
Found after finding the right path to go down drove a bit then bike 1 km from GZ. Nice cold day
I was going to drive to the other car park then I notice that gate was lock with a padlock! Not to happy as I could of kept walking from the other geocache!
Had a job finding the shortcut 4wd track, but a doc worker pointed us in the right direction. Great view of the river from the cache site. TFTC
We walked from Stevenson Rd and came across a TVNZ film crew filming from the top of their off road vehicle - jet boat in the river, helicopters overhead, quad bikes racing around plus about 15 people.....What was happening? They didn't appear to want extras so we kept going. Nice day for the walk. Thanks for bringing us here.
