Unfortunately the fence has been removed to make way for a new one, once it's complete I'll replace the cache.
I take my “cap” off to the van Able crew for this one, it really “screwed” with me for ages until I found it.
Yes finally found it! Wow that was an amazing hide!
The tool hint is a good one lucky I had a small hammer in the boot.

This is becoming my nemesis been back a few times still no luck!
What am I missing?

What a tight squeeze! Ironically met up with the owner a short distance away. He had a good chuckle at us, but confirmed our first suspicions. Came back for another look. Bingo! Can now add this to our list. Tftc
After searching for a while in the wrong spot, I realised I already knew where it was going to be and sure enough, I soon had log in hand which was full and needs replacing
Found with Manikz, our daughter and son-inlaw. They are now hooked! Looked and looked, GPS kept taking us to different trees. Realised I kept walking pass it. Then had almost given up and found it. TFTC
What a warm day out and about! I think everyone had the same idea, muggles were everywhere today. After taking a good guess at where the cache would be, we finally got a break and were able to make the find. SL TFTC
#2052 Fourth find for us for today as we headed towards KooWeeRup from Melbourne. It turned out our first thought was correct but our initial attempt to locate the cache failed so we searched high and low elsewhere before returning a couple of times to our original thought. Finally with the assistance of a "tool" we were able to extract the well hidden cache. Well done The van Abel crew, a fav pt from us.
With Mrs one-eyed on board on our way to the Wonthaggi event, stopped at Tooradin for a cache.
Despite a lengthy search all we could find in a log hollow was a tiny possum.
Cheers.

Spending the weekend with Team Crackers, and headed out for a fun day of caching.
We found a variety of caches, some harder to spot than others.
Signed the log and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, The van Abel crew, for us and others to find.

We were travelling back home down to the Mornington Peninsula when TamikaM1997 asked if I minded that we stop here. She had visited before, had an idea where it was but hadn't managed to log it.
It was dark but there was a torch in my car so no problem.
We parked across the road and worked out where it was quickly. However it was a little stuck and we made a bit of noise retrieving it. We moved further into the park to sign the log and was grateful we did because before long a muggle appeared. Just not any muggle, but a local... with a long beard divided into 2 plaits reaching to his belly button, with a can in hand and a bag over his shoulder. In slurred speech he told us about how here on this concrete slab had stood a primary school. With big gestures he explained what it had looked liked. We slowly edged our way out the gate with the cache in our pocket and log in my hand. The plan was to go to the car and replace it once he had left. However we couldn't get away. As he told us about the school bus and his mum he leaned on the very place where the cache ought to have been. We tried so hard not to laugh. Would he notice? Would he wonder? Fortunately he was too distracted. We said our goodbyes and locked ourselves into the car. 5 minutes later we safely returned the cache and had a good giggle at our funny encounter with a local in the dark.

Ive known for a long while now where this cache was hidden. But had no way of getting it. Tonight was the night. An impromptu visit to tooradin passing thru. Ran into a local drunk guy walking home and got stuck chatting for many minutes on the history of the area. Great hide Tftc
Find #3474
Had some time so spare on weekday for a change so I headed out this way to check out a few caches in Tooradin and beyond. This was my second find of eleven with a pleasing mix of 5 trads, 3 multis, 2 earth caches and a letterbox. Parked up nearby and having grabbed the letterbox cache nearby I tackled this one in the way back to the car. Spent a fair bit of time looking in futile spots I came back to something I had earlier past over and after searching a little more I had the cache in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache The van Abel crew.

Today we explored Tooradin and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

For once *I* found the cache while geomissus was bumbling about with the phone. Usually it's the other way around.
Cache was signed and replaced discreetly. Thanks van Abel crew for the cache.

Another nemesis bites the dust! I guess experience pays, and dammit I looked in so many of those tree holes before finding this one. I was on the 'give up' track and figure just one more try, even though I positive I had tried here several times!
I had about 4 visits here in total.

After meeting up with OzHockeyChick, mark&kelly, sharkiefan and geoturtle37 to do some caches in and around the Cranbourne area I left them and headed off in this direction. While I was looking for this one someone came jogging by asking me if I was looking for the geocache. As it turns out she was an excacher. She couldn't shed any light on the cache hide so I just persisted on my own. Suddenly I had a lightbulb moment and I knew where it was. A little bit of a push and a pull was all that was needed. Thanks The Van Abel crew a great cache and the first one of yours to find
Having a great day in Tooradin, I usually just pass through but not today. The GPS lead me straight to GZ and a quick find to my surprise. Thankyou kindly
Out and about enjoying some winter sunshine and finding some caches today. We looked for this cache quite a while ago but had to Abandon our search due to muggles watching. We were very pleased to find the very well hidden cache today. A fav point from us.
Thanks for the extra effort placing this cache.

"Nifty" was the word we used to describe this cache. Out for an afternoon trip to cache our way here and there down to the Island, Tooradin was our first stop. We conquered the Great Wall and with this one just around the corner, it was an easy stop. I had no idea that, at one point, there was an aquarium in Tooradin.
We walked past the hide and with a GPS not wanting to play the 'accurate' game today it took us a while, until we stop thinking via a device, and started to think with our geo-senses. Within a few moments, Team Mum and Dad had noticed a tell-tale geocaching trick and the log was in hand and happily stamped and replaced. See, nifty.

Our home caching area is rich with similar hides to this one so we were quick to work out where this was. What slowed us down was waiting for muggles to leave and getting to the cache. Once we did we signed log, did a happy found it dance, and (cross our fingers) replaced it securely. Thanks for a neat sneaky cache!
Found on a one month road trip around Australia. Sorry for the generic log. TNLNSL TFTC
The last time we were in town was for the mega in 2015 but we were coming back this way from Phillip Island to the airport. The weather was a whole lot nicer then.
This was the only cache we were stopping for here, time was running out. We parked on the grass near the vehicle entrance, which happened to put us close to GZ too.
We saw exactly where it was but struggled to gain access. We tried and tried when suddenly it budged, bobbing the egg on the chin in the process. Back home we have a similar style one.
Thanks The van Abel crew for a worthwhile stop- our only stop- in town.
This was also the last cache for the trip, only 40 which is not many for a 5 day break. I guess we had a real holiday too

Sadly we didn't find today. Some muggles were approaching on the path so we ditched to find another day.tyftc
Searched for 10-15min with miss 6 while hubby was fishing nearby. Could not find it and will be back another time.
Found with a little help from a friend. Have been to in services here in years gone by.
A nice quick find for us today, thanks The van Abel crew, love your work. Found with The Tritonz.
A tricky little sucker that initially had us searching in the wrong location. Having exhausted the possibilities, we tried another tack and came up with the goods. Nice one The van Abel crew! SL at 2pm. #4233. We will eventually make it to San Remo today!
Gps couldn't decide on a location so we were looking in a fairly large GZ. Lots of places it could be hidden in, but every few minutes more muggles would walk past watching us. Either a very busy area or must have been peak hour.
Thanks anyway for the cache The van Abel crew.
We will come back another time.

Found this cache whilst spending the afternoon out caching with Bendsinister, with the intentions of trying to clear out some of the Cannons Creek, Warneet and Blinds Bight area. The day for me started off with a bit of a sleep in to which I then got ready and met up with Bend to head out. The day was a little dreary with fairly consistent light rain and an onslaught of mosquitoes these weren't enough to stop us today. Woohoo another find for today. Once again this was a fairly easy find that we were able to find with little to no difficulty. Thanks for the cache, as I had a great time out caching today as a whole

Out caching with our Kiwi group over for the Surf Coast Mega event with Paddle Chick and Buller Trout signed the log BT-PC-KN thanks for placing the cache a bit of an of track diversion for a trad
I looked in every hole in those trees. Nothing, but I'm not really ready for the test of the woodbeast yet. Maybe I'll try later.
Took a little longer than it should've. Great cache when we found it! TFTC, Brainiac03
Walked right up and grabbed this one. Jaktembo said 'bugger off, you read the clue all ready'
Nope. Im just awesome.
Cool hide!

I read the clue amd tried what I thought but nope. Kejajo89 came along and grabbed it immediately without even seeing the clue. The geokids were searching in a nearby tree and didn't seen us find it so we steered them to the find, which geoboy 9 handled in such a manner that it could not easily be retrieved. After some more adult force the cache was open and log signed. Cache may need some maintenace as lid is cracked

I was travelling through here further down the coast and stopped by to grab a few caches. I didn't really know where to park so I ended up doing a u turn and parking in the hall car park which was empty. I noticed something almost immediately and within a few moments had the cache in hand. Signed and replaced as found.
**Thanks for placing this trad The van Abel crew** [^]
**Inside lid of the cache container is broken, log in good condition**

I was in the area chasing down a wherigo and needing a couple of caches to fill today's calendar slot.
After having tried to find the nearby multi I decided to try my luck with this one.
Well, my luck turned and despite a muggle vehicle parked right at GZ the muggles looked to have exited and were trying their luck with some fishing leaving me free to fish for a different sort of prize.
The hide was located as I walked up to GZ given the mood I was in (perfect caching demeanour-relaxed but observant).
Nice hide btw...

This was a sneaky little blighter. Had all three of us wandering around and scratching our heads.
Stinky Bob and Stinky Tom checked before I finally spotted something extra.
Thanks The van Abel crew. An awesome afternoon caching in Tooradin and we haven't finished, we will be back another time for sure.
Cache was found in excellent condition.

This one was quite sneaky. I checked the spot but not well enough. Then Kmannz had a closer look and found it. TFTC
i liked this cache it was smart i already looked their somehow i did not grab it some how. but i found this time with kmannz and stinky tom TFTC.
We had to visit Tooradin to pick up something today, so of course we had to chase a few caches while we were there. This one was our first stop of the day, and the tricky little customer kept us busy for a few minutes before we figured it out. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
I loved the history of this location. We have been here a few times, without being any closer. Then I just left it ..... then I found another just like it & then penny dropped. Ohhhhh ...... I betcha I know where it was. So I returned ..... and didn't have any tools with me. Today we came prepared. I told the boys exactly what our action plan was and bingo, bang on was mum .... quite literally. As we had the cache in hand, the container fell to the ground and one part went one way and the log sheet flew like a kite in the wind. Can't say I've seen geoboy took off that bloody quickly ....... like the starting gun of the 100 metre sprint. Log in hand he couldn't stop giggling ..... Yep ..... got it Think he amazed himself too with that speed but he's been trained well. Geocaching logs are very important. Great hide and a nice challenge for us.
Not to busy around this spot or at the caravan park opposite today allowing me to make a quick easy find. Also helped that I have come across a few of these type of caches before and love them. SL. TFTC The van Abel crew
Found it lying out in the open, assuming the strong wind to blame. could not open. Even with helps of tools
Yay! Easy find, but needed the brute strength of the Dad Wombat to retreive this one....wow tight fit.. first one we've found like this. we held our breath to find out what was inside...thanks for the challenge, The Van Abel crew.. cheers 2 Grey Wombats.
This one took some looking. But mostly it trying to find a way to get it out so we could sign the log

Went to the most obvious places but didn't find it there. Finally found it after remembering a few other caches similar in design. Needed tools to extract the cache but lucky the tools needed were easy to find. Great hide.
Awesome spot. Thankyou.
Took us a while. But finally found it. May need new log soon. Nearly full.

Second time lucky. We were barking up the wrong tree for far too long! Clever little hide.
Spent ages looking in the cold rain and couldn't find it.. Guess I'll have to come back another time!
Out today for some Birthday caches so we thought we would come to the Phillip Island area for a change, Arrived at GZ and this had us stumped but after reading a few logs and having a closer look we had the cache in hand, TFTC nice hide.
Great little hiding spot. Anything can be a cache hidey-hole! Cache tool kit came in handy on this one. After a small service, the cache surround should slide for the next Geocacher. Interesting history, enjoyed the journey. Tftc.
Visited with a previous finder in shogun-, probably keen to watch me faff around in exactly the way I did: spending a long time on one particular fruitless avenue of inquiry. Turned out to be a completely different method of concealment. Nice! Thanks van Abel crew! [PS. "siTE of the aquarium" ]
We'd been down past Koo Wee Rup, visiting the little puppy who is soon to join our family So on the way back we celebrate the pup purchase with a little lunch in Tooradin. So after a pile of buffalo wings we skipped around here in the car for a quick find.
Actually checked out GZ first time round, because of a little give-away, but it was a bit too solid to seem 'cachey'. A second check later soon proved it was the right spot.
TFTC van Abel crew. Hard to believe such a significant thing existed in this little bit of open space.
