Did not read the description properly l was kind of disappointed GZ did not lead to a real cemetery It would have made for my 3rd visit today. Travel bug retrieved. Oh okay I saw glimpses of the headstone marker upon doing a U turn in the van.
Find#6374Nice hiding place What a epic road trip exploring Australia Thanks for the cache
Zeroing in on gz and I've got a bogey on my tail. I see the sign to the cemetery and indicate that way. The guy must have thought me mad. Cache easily found though.
A lovely little cemetery with a sad past but love the cache and that you highlighted it. Came here with jlc15 tftc
JTreeTrack2 was out and about with Mr Dromaniax and the company of our Muggle parents. They Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, the sites, the effort gone in to placing caches in fascinating areas and places. The caches that we came across were all in good condition and were signed and returned as found. Thankyou to all the effort that has gone into placing the cache. Sorry for the generic log, my logging has 7 months of unloved. Thanks again for placing this cache.
I was out and about with JTreeTrack2 and our parents, and this was day number two. We decided to take Mum and Dad away for a trip down memory lane, and while out and about, we were picking up some caches along the way.We spent two days travelling around the central North region of Victoria and had some fantastic weather. All caches we found were in excellent condition unless otherwise noted.Thank you, Team Megradel, for this Traditional cache.
After several comments about a wet cache I have been out today and fully replaced with new everything
Quickly found the half full of water cache, dried out as best we could , replaced sodden log with a new dry one, signed and returned to the hidey hole

We couldn't spot the plaque let alone the cemetery!
Thanks to Team Megradel
Feedback: The cache container let in water and the log book is sodden.

Easter in Rutherglen. This cache was found on the trip home. Many miles to go.

Quick find with SJG66 as we wind our way home from holidays. Container full of water, log damp. TFTC
Packed up camp at Wooroonook Lakes and heading to Mt Alexander via Serpentine.
Stopped for this cache along the way. So young - all of them.
Thanks for bringing me here today by placing this cache, Team Megradel

Nice quick find, shame about the cemetery. Thanks for the cache and history lesson!
What a shame we can't get in to read the plaque ... Wanting to pick up a trail as we head to Swan Hill. TFTC #2
With the group camp now all wrapped up and the last stragglers having left I was now on my own. I set off today for a drive around the neighbouring areas and grabbed a couple of caches along the way.
A storm was rolling in and soon surrounding me as I completed some of the last caches in this area. A quick find at GZ a meant I could get on my way again.
Thanks Team Megradel for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

Shame can't access the cemetery... love reading plaques about early Pioneers. Cache in good order, thanks for bringing me here! Nice little detour on road to Swan Hill
Very sad that the infant mortality was so high Hooray for medical science and vaccination TFTC The Morris
Thanks for the hide, a pity we can’t go in to see the cemetery, but oh well, still an interesting piece of history.
Found.....was very confused why it was called serpentine cemetary, until we looked over. TFTC
After a great night sleep at camp last night in Lockwood, I woke up early for a big day of caching through the Bendigo region, Bridgewater, Serpentine, Prairie and Echuca. A great day out, lots of finds, only 2 DNFs.
Another amazing bit of history. Learning lots out here. Thanks for bringing me.

Well it's been about 6 months since our last cache find and we burst our geo drought on the side of the road at this cache.
It's good to be back in the game.
Cache in good order.

After spending time in lockdown due to covid19, and home schooling, grabbed the grandkids and set off for a trip to Swan Hill, so the fun begins. Tftc and my fear is spiders, I'm adjusting to them a bit.
Thanks to The Morris for this cache, a nice spot along a quiet road, the container was wet with a bit of moisture, soe we upended it and signed the log which was dry inside the ziplock.
Quick stop to grab this cache. Another interesting spot. Wouldn’t know it was here if it wasn’t for this great pastime. TFTC The Morris.
JSando and I on our way to Swan Hill. Should have been there hours ago, but you know how it is. TFTC
As we wander the great land seeing the sights, this is one of the caches we have done.
Thanks to The Morris for placing the cache for us to find.

As we headed from Swan Hill to Bendigo today, we stopped along the way to look for some caches. This was one of them.
It took a little hunting to find access to the Serpentine Cemetery. Once we had worked that out, accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks The Morris for the cache.

I said to Muggle Hubby this morning, as we left St Arnaud after the Mega, that I didn’t care which way we went home as long as it was past a large cache, as I needed that type for a challenge.
He obliged and we were delighted to find it, then I suggested another, not far out of our way at Serpentine, and lo and behold there’s another Brownlow Medal one by our friends Aussie Fun Seakers so we’d better get that one too, so we did! Thanks! Now we can go home.
But, there’s a very interesting shearing shed just up this road I’d like to see, so we did, and found the cache there too. Thankyou for bringing us here.
And there’s another just up the same road, so he was most obliging.
Look, a little cemetery cache not far away too.
What a sad little tombstone memorial. Thanks The Morris for placing a cache there to bring it to our attention.

This year our plan was to spend our "summer vaction" in Australia.
So arriving on the 7th November we took over the campervan and started our tour from Sydney to Adelaine. On that tour we found a lot of caches. This was one of it.
Thank's a lot to all CO's that placed and maintain the caches here in "Down Under".
Greetings from the south of Germany

Found with boo09 & neisha07 on our way to Tresco for a Good Friday dinner with extended family.
The busy Easter traffic made it difficult and we grudgingly had to drive straight past many caches as it was unsafe to stop.
This one was a nice quick find. Thanks for the cache.

The last cache find of the day for me as I made my way from Renmark to Bendigo.
A slight GPS malfunction had me travelling some back roads and lead me right to this spot.
Signed and replaced and back on my way.
Thanks The Morris!

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Find # 1635 for me. Found after work at 8 pm. I needed some caches to fill an empty calendar date so decided to drive north from Bendigo, taking advantage of the extra hours of light available due to daylight savings. This was the perfect time of day to be here with the heat of the day gone and the sun low in the sky adding to the atmosphere. After a quick look at the nearby gravestone I made a quick find. All was in good condition except for the zip-lock bag which I replaced with a new one I had in the car. Thanks for bringing me here this evening The Morris and thanks for the cache!
Drove straight past it, so a couple of u-turns later and I was in the right place. Got it just before the wall of rain blew in. TFTC
Was an easy find on a country road. Left a TB and swapped a shark car for a hot wheels car. TFTC
Heading home after staying in St Arnaud for the weekend, taking every opportunity to grab a cache. A quick find at GZ.

Found by Mary & David at 1400. So near and yet so far. Mary loves to explore cemeteries, and wished that this one was acessible. Still earns a FP for the story. The high mortality rate of children then is hard to believe today. Our thanks to The Morris.
