### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process. It certainly needs to be checked by the Maintainer, as the CO is deceased.. The Maintainer needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating, or the posted coordinates.* Alert me when this has been done so I can do the paperwork.**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been taken by the Maintainer. If nothing has happened, I will conclude that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition and waiting to be found. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayang -GeoffCommunity Reviewer

Sir_spectre and I went on a long overdue holiday to the Northern Territory. We had some great experiences and saw some amazing natural wonders. Not all went to plan - covid closures, flood effected roads, renovations, hot weather, some car troubles and not forgetting the huge jump in fuel costs Smile
Any caches that needed repairs were fixed and numeous logs were replaced or added too.
Thanks to robtas from mogni Smile

quick find. The only thing that has broken is the bracket for my light bar and that's not a huge problem.

Mogni and myself went to the Northern Territory for a 10 day holiday. We drove 5478 km's in those 10 days. The plan was to go up the Sturt highway and then go via Ayers Rock, King's Canyon and then through to Alice Springs stopping at the gorges/chasm/gaps along the way. As you can expect nothing goes to plan. Day 1 Adelaide to Cooper Pedy, made it just before the Roxby Downs turn off and blow the side wall on the tire of the 4x4, 193 km detour just to get a tire and even then it was the second tire place that had the tire the correct size. We had camels come in to the campsite in Erldunda Roadhouse, they even left hoof prints 1/2 a foot from the tent, at King's Canyon we had dingo's come through the camp ground both nights we where there and at Alice springs we had a mouse move in under the tent in their campground. Some of the aboriginal towns we passed where in lock down because of covid 19 so no going in to get fuel there, that changed some plans. The floods where way worse up in Northern Territory than i realized. Some creeks/rivers i could see the debris over 2 meters from the river bed and down one 4x4 track it washed the road away completely, the hole was 3/4 the length of the 4x4 and over 6 foot deep. The temp was 33 to 36 for 9 of the 10 days and finally cooled down for the drive home. We got 7 different caches types in the N.T. plus every different cache size. It was a good trip but not the one we planned. To many of the roads in the N.T. where damaged and not repaired ( still closed ) so that cancelled plan A but that's just a excuse to come back isn't it. Come back and see what you missed last time when the roads are fixed. We came with 19 regular " geocaching size " containers and a milk crate of small containers by day 7 all the regulars where used as replaced caches and by day 8 the smalls where gone. It was the UV rays a lot more than the floods that killed the caches and almost all the log books where saved, the micro containers seemed to have constantly full log sheets so they where replaced too.

I love the container. Very cute. A good stop for us on the Merrenie loop coming back to Alice today. I put a pencil in here for future cachers. TFTC

Three weeks on the road for a family holiday to Alice Springs, Ayers Rock and Kings Canyon amongst other cool destinations had us traveling all over the place. We had a great time and the weather was extremely hot with bushfires that actually prevented us from going to some destinations.
Today we made our way from Kings Canton / Petermann to Alice Springs along Larapinta Dve and we stopped along the way to find the few caches that we came across. This was one of them.
Thanks for the cache.

@Davidwazza and I travelled to the Northern Territory from Adelaide for a 2.5 weeks road trip holiday in the infamous black jeep. We took a route through Port Augusta, Woomera, Roxby Downs, Andamooka, and then drove the Oodnadatta Track via Coward Springs, William Creek (including a Lake Eyre scenic flight), Oodnadatta, and Marla. It was then onwards to visit Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kata Tjuṯa (Olgas), Kings Canyon, and then drove the Red Centre Way aka. Mereenie Loop Road to see the Tjoritja (West MacDonell Ranges), calling in to see the various highlights. We then stayed a few nights in Alice Springs, and included a day trip to see the East MacDonell Ranges, before heading home in a more direct route through Palm Valley, Owen Springs Reserve, Henbury Craters, and the Lambert Centre of Australia, and finally Coober Pedy.

Today, we set off from Kings Canyon, along the Mereenie loop, making it all the way to Glen Helen Gorge

Jesswrigley and I travelled to the Northern Territory from Adelaide for a 2.5 weeks road trip holiday. We took my jeep through Port Augusta, Woomera, Roxby Downs, Andamooka, and then drove the Oodnadatta Track via Coward Springs, William Creek (including a Lake Eyre scenic flight), Oodnadatta, and Marla. We then stayed a few nights in Alice Springs, and included a day trip to see the East MacDonell Ranges. It was then time to turn around to head to South Australia, and in doing so, we visited the Palm Valley, and made the 4WD detour through Owen Springs Reserve (an excellent shortcut that wasn’t too technically difficult), calling into the Henbury Craters, and the Lambert Centre of Australia. Our final stop was Coober Pedy, and we really enjoyed checking out the various dugouts and mines.

Today, we travelled from Kings Canyon along the Mereenie Loop / Red Centre Way to Glen Helen. We stopped off at the various sights that commanded, including Tnorala (Gosses Bluff), Redbank Gorge, Ormiston Gorge and Ormiston Pound. We decided to do that pound hike in the afternoon in order to maximise our time for the following day. We saw some wildlife including a snake drinking at one of the gorges. Some great and fascinating history and geology.

This geocache was just down the road from another wreck. Perhaps this road has taken a few cars with it. Once the cache was found, all appeared to be in good shape. Thanks robtas for placing the cache, and redcenterdazza for continuing to maintain it.

We traveled through Northern Territory for four weeks. We started the journey in Alice Springs and drove to Uluru, Kata Tjuta and then to Kings Canyon and further on to the north. On the way we found some caches. This was one of them.
Die Strecke auf der Piste hat uns gut gefallen. Zum Cache mussten wir dann 250 m laufen, das hat nach der Rüttelei auch gut getan. TFTC!

We are heading off on an outback adventure with Mrs Just a Trifle looking forward to visiting Goodward Station in Boulia, which was once owned by her grandfather, and Mr Just a Trifle hoping to climb Ayers Rock before it is permanently closed to climbing Razz

As usual, with responsibilities caring for grand children and elderly parents, we still can not take the time we would really like to explore this great land of ours Red Face so yet again it is mostly an express trip through some terrific locations.

We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.

Thank you robtas for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy Big Grin

Thanks for the cache robtas!

After spending four days travelling up on my own from Adelaide, I met up with FeatherWaite in Alice Springs for a few days of travelling around and caching.

We visited various places in the West Macdonnells, including Hugh Gorge, then went out to Kings Canyon, up the Finke Gorge track to Hermannsburg, into Palm Valley, then back to Adelaide, taking a week in all. We saw, and camped in some fantastic places, although the late September weather was a little warm!

A quick stop as we made our way towards Kings Canyon. Thanks robtas for the cache.

so as expected, i complicated a bit on this one, i didn't see the trail so i went on in the middle of the bushes. it was amazing since i saw so many strange small holes in the ground (ants maybe?) but at the end i found the right track
another amazing thing was, on the track, i saw horse tracks and 3 different ones (including a really small one)
the cache was found near another car that had a gigantic breakdown...irreparable probably
thanks for sharing this one

WHOOPS! I'm logging about 100-200 or so caches like 3 months after the trip that we found them on! Completely forgot to log these but I did not forget the trip! Found this cache along with many others on an adventure around the red centre. Along this adventure we visited and explored many phenomenal and surreal places such as Woomera, Coober Pedy, Uluru and Mutitjulu, Kata Tjuta, Wattarka, Tnorala, Both East and West Macdonnell ranges, Arltunga, Ruby Gap, Palm Valley, Parts of the Finke road, Boggy Hole, Rainbow Valley, Old Ghan Route, Chambers Pillar, Oodnadatta track, Mount Dare, Dalhousie Springs, Painted Desert, Moon plane and I'm sure I've missed a few! Thank you so much for the cache. Found with Ferociousflea and -Beaker- along with our mint 79 series that accomplished alot in this two week time frame.

On our vacation this year, we did a great trip as GER-17 to Australia.
GER-17 are DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, de Eifelaner and murri24.
We started the tour in Melbourne where we spend a few days sightseeing and caching, including some trips out of the City to the Grampians an to the Great Ocean Road.
Nice place to be and to see.
From Melbourne we went to Alice Springs including Ayrs Rock, where we saw some nice sunsets and other great stone formations and spots.
Back in Melbourne we started by car to go to Sydney along the coast with zig zags into the blue mountains and Canberra.
Finally we arrived in Sydney and spend here the last day of our holidays with caching and sightseeing.
During this trip we found this box.

DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, Murri24 and I made this year a very great tour together. Our first target is Melbourne. So we started early in the morning to visit the city and to make a few geocaches. We found very nice locations and interesting spots. One day we rent a car. Very early in the morning we drive from Melbourne City over Geelong to the Great Ocean Road. Along this road we found so much interesting spots, we see a great landscape, and had have not enough time for sightseeing. The weather was fine but a little bit windy. This day was very long and hard, but wonderful.
After that we visit the Grampians. A little bit rain, a little bit windy and a little bit sunny day, we had fasten all weathers. We visit waterfalls, canyons, sandstone fomations and any Look Outs. Puhhh, what a great landscape.
The next part of our journey is to explore the Outback. From Ayers Rock we take a car and drive over Kings Canyon and many other Look Outs to Alice Springs. We visit any very interesting Caches and had a great time by comfortable temperature.
This traditional Cache we hav also found. We log it as "GER-17". Thank you for this Cache.

Together with Team "GER-17" (consisting of murri24, der Eifelaner & dieFraudiemitmuss and me) I visited this location on our second day in the Outback.
We were travelling around with a rental car (4x4 of course Big Grin)and were able to see so many interesting & beautiful locations.
This was already my second visit to the Red Centre of Australia. Let's see if I can make it a third time in few years. Wink

Thanks a lot for this Cache!

Luckily we didn't have any breakdowns in the outback. Razz

At the moment Pfote and me are on a work and travel backpacking trip through the world. After I've spent a full year in Australia Pfote joined me for my second year down here. We will definitely try to collect a lot of boxes and all the special things in every state all around and right through the middle.

Now, after a bit more than twenty-four months we're finally on our last big journey through the country. From Melbourne to Adelaide and up north to Alice Springs and then past the Uluru via the great central road to Perth. Of course with a load of detours wherever we find something awesome.

Sorry for not writing an individual log for this cache. After not logging a single find from Coober Pedy to Yulara, I've quite lost the overview.
But let me tell you, I enjoyed most of the caches, visiting places I would maybe have driven past and always found a good reason to stretch my legs.

That was a walk in from road but I found it. Hadn't read the previous posts and didn't find the track until I reached GZ. Walked back to road on the track. Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. The second leg of our journey was a fabulous 9 days in Tasmania. Having then returned to Melbourne we set off on the third leg of our journey, which was to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. We then spent a few days in Sydney with geocaching friends before flying on to the Gold Coast for the fourth leg of our travels, that included visits to Lamington National Park, Noosa and an overnight trip out to Fraser Island. We then flew from Brisbane to Cairns, where we spent a couple of nights before heading out to the birding hotspots of Yungaburra and Daintree. We then drove up to Cape Tribulation before we turned south to Port Douglas. After a day out on the Great Barrier Reef we returned to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs and the fifth leg of our travels. Having picked up our 4x4 camper we are now on the circuit to and from Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. We then fly to Darwin from where we will spend the last two weeks of our holiday making our way to Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!

This was a nice quick find at Ground Zero on our way to Kings Canyon. We followed the small dirt track to the cache location, and had to smile on noticing the turning loop at GZ! Thanks so much for the cache.
