Thanks Team Robins for another hide along this road.
This one took a couple of minutes to find, as our GPS was not accurate.
The container is where it should be however lid is gone, and any replacement paper will be immediately wet. No paper inside at the moment.

I set out bright and early this morning for a day of caching, but not before I'd kidnapped a geo-guru on my way through Toowoomba, to be my chauffeur, and to find a few he had yet to get further south. It was a big day and a good day. Found this one swimming in water. Emptied it out and signed the log, thanks for the cache!
Geohubby jumped the boggy ditch & approached where he suspected cache was.... nope, not there! Rechecking the gps he headed elsewhere & voila cih. But the lid was off & the log was gone, the container filled with water. We emptied the container & replaced the log with an official gc log, however the lid does appear to be broken so cache will need to be checked by co. Tnsl tftc TR
We were too new to the game when the Oz Mega event was here so we have come down now to make a few grabs. Thanks for the caches along the quiet road.

While camping at Girraween for 5 days, we spent a day gathering Stan's Apples and now we are onto the A.S. series. Didn't take our Car Navigator with us so we're driving blind to find the start of this series. Took the wrong road to get to these and then found we had missed some. While continuing on this road, we decide to find some of the Fruit Run series and others as well.
An easy find, logbook signed and cache returned to its hide.

Day 2
A wonderful weekend away in Stanthorpe resulting in 374 finds, including 22 mystery (Stanthorpe Apple) and 1 Earthe cache. I hoped to log each individually as I usually would but the tyranny of time prevents me from continuing to try and achieve this goal. A big thank you to all the Stanthorpe CO's. We said many times we wish we had more consolidated trails in Brisbane. TFTC

With the last DNF we considered giving this one a miss.. Curiosity got the better of us and up we went. Soon spotted out of the corner of my eye! Hiding in plain sight - TFTC
In town for a few days of part of an extended loop from Newcastle to Noosa and return with the family for a holiday. Managed to score a dedicated morning for caching and decided to see just how many caches I could cram in before an afternoon of wine tasting. The answer... 160! Just as well I got up early. The first 20 or so were achieved entirely by torchlight, and the next 20 were in pretty gloomy dawn light. After that it got much easier. Highlights included meeting a family of deer along the Rabbit Proof Fence, some close encounters with wallabies and roos, and achieving a new personal best for caches in a day, even though I finished caching at 1pm. AND I got to taste some delicious wine in the late afternoon. A pretty damn fine day. I will apologise though for what is going to be some extensive cutting and pasting. Thanks to all COs involved for their extensive work in placing the sheer mass of caches in the region. I know others who have managed 400 in a day out here.
This is our third Day in Stanthorpe and after finally finishing the A.S. series we decided to do the fruit run. We found all of them and some other caches along the way. Most of them were quick finds and most in good order. Thanks Team Robins for laying these caches, we have had an enjoyable day.
Yep, found this one on a quick trip around the area whilst visiting some caching friends who are locals. Thanks Team Robins.
I came up to Stanthorpe mainly to get the finals for a few challenges that we had all the requirements for and also to do the Stan's Apples caches but I had a great time picking up others as well along the way!!!
Geo Wife had sent me off on Tuesday with her blessing because she thought she would hold me back but it was good to get away anyway.
I have had a ball for the last 3 days and it was now time to head homeward but there were still some great caches that beckoned me so I just had to stop along the way!!!
Great power trail!

After traveling from the Gold Coast to be in Stanthorpe for the Big return of Chris and Ian, Team Robins momentous adventure of walking around Australia for Walk For Life. We decided it was about time we did some Cashes on our return Journey. We waved our lovely host good bye at Robins Nest and decided to do some of the Fruit Run on our travels to Toowoomba.

Found with the geo-son during a peddle powered assault on the caches of The Summit. The log sheet was wet and a bit too pulpy to write on. The over-size roo cache guardians just up the road creeped us out !! Many thanks Team Robins
On our way back home after another enjoyable four days caching around Stanthorpe/Tenterfield area. Finally, Team Robins, we get to finish off the Fruit Run series we started back before Mega.

Just a drive around to try to collect some of the caches I missed last time I was here. Found some, didnt find some, but had a great time. Thanks for these caches, and for maintaining them.
Last time we visited the area we had hoped to collect this series
At the first cache back then a voice called out HAVE YOU GOT IT?
Surprise surprise we had got caught by the cache owners
A quick chat while signing the log and we were invited back for a coffee 3hrs later we say our goodbyes
No time to collect them all so today we return in the hopes of a few more finds
Thanks for placing this series
It certainly makes you realise how hard our fruit growers are going with all their stalls now closed
It must have been a great place to visit many years ago

We were unable to get to the MEGA Event earlier in the year so decided to come caching in Stanthorpe for the long weekend. This was our third day of caching. We had found all of the caches that we had planned to find but we still had a whole afternoon so decided to do one of the series close to town. . A quick find for us. TNLN TFTC.

stopped at a few random caches on the way back to Stanthorpe
to try and push the total finds for the day over 150+

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
Day twelve is the last day we spent in the Stanthorpe region. First was the fruit run then finishing off the A.S. series. The rest of the day was spent collecting the left over caches that in fact took us to some of the more amazing places on this trip. Thanks.

Most of attempted caches were found and a good day, with about 100 finds, was had.

Found it with Team FIN [kapeka & laalaa]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Australian Capital Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!
Greetings from Finland!

Bit of a sad day today, being the last day of the Queensland 2015 Mega Event. Many cachers are already packing up and heading home. Not us though - we have another day to fill in, hoping to find as many of the unfound caches around the Stanthorpe area as we can. Couldn't leave this one behind. Thanks for the smiley Team Robins
After the Oz Mega we are staying in the area for a couple more days to sight see and do some more cacheing before we head home to Victora.
Started out tonight to do some night caching. After some drenching rain the night came out beautiful.

Wanted to do this series before we headed home. This one was a quick easy find.
**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! So, I attended the Stanthorpe mega at the request of several members of the organsing team. Having been to every event designated "Mega" in Australia up to this time I almost felt an obligation to oblige. I knew I would have fun catching up with the many friends I've made Australia-wide and that caching would be done -- and done it was! These are the finds I made while in the area and I enjoyed all of them despite the rainy and a tad cold weather. I cached with Uni, Shonky, and SX as well as Moneydork throughout the weekend. Thanks to all who placed caches in the region, they were all enjoyable.
In town for the Mega so no time for wine tasting unfortunately. Next visit perhaps...
Thanks to the organisers for a great event.

Day 4 QLD Mega Trip. Picking up a few caches missed in the rain the day before. Quick find this morning whilst scouring the area for rubbish for the CITO. SL. TFTC.
This cache was found on 5 April 2014 and is Geocache 1197 in my bag of smilies. This find was part of my Mega Long Easter Weekend... 'Why Mega?', you might ask. Well, the answer is easy, The QLD Mega Event - http://coord.info/GC4X31B in Stanthorpe!
This event is something that I have been waiting for for over a year now. Now that it is here, it is time to get our Mega Geocaching Geek on!
After a very busy day mtill17 and I did a quick cache count... WHAT, we were only like 20 caches off 100?!?! There was no way we could leave it at that, it had to be rounded off.
'Fruit Run No.6' was powergrabbed by ZoolandR, mtill17 and I as we made our way through the many, many Geocaches that Stanthorpe has to offer. Nothing beats country towns, National Parks and the occasional Geocache along the way.
Have a Happy Easter Team Robins and Thank you for the cache.

Had a great day great caching with Alansee, Maccamob and Phetlern. Found lots of caches some easy to find some not so. We signed the log as GAMP. Thanks to those that have gone to the effort of putting out caches in this area for us all to enjoy. Thanks to Team Robins
It has been 20 months since we logged a DNF on this cache. Today we were much luckier after a small hunt possum spied the cache. We put a new log book and bag in the cache as the other one was wet and could not be signed. Hope it stays dry. Thanks Team Robbins for the hunt. Found while attending the mega event.
MEGA was on so decided it might be a good idea to find some caches. "Some" ended up turning into a few hundred... the most exhausting experience.
Started in the city and pooh corner, ended up leaving a little late for Stanthorpe. Fun weekend, managed to get pushed into swimming across water a few times and finishing off some rum.

I found this cache while visiting Australia from New Zealand and while staying in Stanthorpe for several days for the 2015 Mega Event. Today I joined forces with fellow kiwis Cats&Dragons, Alpenmilch80, Vamber and Yorkshirekiwi83 (signing our logs as "CAVVY" to save time and log space.) Today we headed North of Stanthorpe again, to do the Fruit Run series and other caches in the area. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best today, so it was a very wet days caching! Apologies for the copy and paste logs, but its hard to remember them all! TFTC!

A great days caching on a road trip toward Oz Mega 2015 with Team Crackers and The Coffees. Many differing experiences, some where I walked right to the cache and others where I needed to hunt around a bit. As usual I have enjoyed the various challenges set by the CO's and the fact that I get to cache with friends and am outside in the great outdoors.
Many thanks Team Robins for placing this cache .

Visiting QLD from Central Coast NSW, and attending the Stanthorpe MEGA EVENT for about a week. Camping at the showground, caching days done mainly with SpikeyMikey, meeting up with members of CCG, HAVOC, and others from all over Australia.
Many thanks to all responsible for a smooth operating event, my first Mega, and first visit to Stanthorpe. Plenty of reasons for a near future visit
Whilest it did rain and drizzle almost every day, I much preferred this over hot days, which is what I encounted on the Gold Coast return journey, as well as a repeated bout of coughing with the flu on the long drive home.

We found this cache while over in Stanthorpe for the Aussie mega. A super wonderful time, and super wonderful caches!! Thanks to all the COs, and event organisers! We had a blast!!
Second day, and we decided to see how many we could do. Ended up with about 202 I think it was - yay! Best day ever! And that wasn't even a full day, as we needed to be back in time for the markets at 2pm, to advertise the NZ mega - so a half day only really.
Left at 6am, together with Karma Reprint.
We signed almost every log as 'Team Polak' over this trip which consists of hinemoana, sonia26642, /dev/gc0c, and tunfisk - to save time, our hands from overuse, and the logsheets
But on this trail, we signed as TP + KR. Even shorter!
