Well we didnt find the replacement cache hidden by Pommieparkin2, but we did find the original! Bush is very thick and coordinates are out about ten metres out, cache is behind a large tree a fair way off the track and really needs replacing. Puzzle pieces are nearly illegible had to really sort through them to find one we could read!
We genuinely believe that this one has gone AWOL so we replaced it. Hope that's ok. If not feel free to delete our log.
Got pretty shredded by vegetation the GPS signal was completely uncooperative, really found the cache by lucky chance.
We were out for a beautiful afternoon showing our friends the world of caching.
Thanks for this series we didn’t complete it all so we’ll be back to finish it shortly.

Came to do the CPS series but, after seeing that the parking waypoint was right next to the first in this series, decided to double up.
Simple find, but only after I realised I'd overshot the mark and had to backtrack 60m down the hill. TFTC AusTrackers.

TFTC! Another Thursday out with Cravo10 to pickup a few more series in the outer suburbs of Perth, I think we may be finally starting to make a dent in the list
We headed to gosnells/kenwick area first picking up the Charli series by Grannett which was similar to the Charli walk series we did quite some time ago but a nice walk along a sealed path for most of the way apart from a few deviations into the bush. We found them all except number 3 which we may return to in the dry season!!
We then tried for a few allied prankster archived caches from the ants and birds series, with 5 of the 6 attempted located safe and sound although we did have to add a logbook to two of them as someone had damaged the micro caches. All still there and working well otherwise.
With Cravo10 rolling his ankle it made the day a bit tougher, but I did make him soldier through the CPS series near roleystone and the carpobrotus series by austrackers nearby which were both enjoyable and all found in easy logical spots, we will return another day to grab the three final caches as well as me and Bs caches further up the road.
Thanks to the local COS for a great days caching. Thanks

After caching in the area last Saturday we decided to come back and visit the nearby Araluen Park and hunt down some of the remaining hides. The two series in the Wungong Regional Park were very inviting, so we left the car at the published parking area and off we went.
The hides in the Carpobrotus virescens were pretty easy to find, so I just add a generic log saying thanks for the effort.

Headed out to do this series today with the muggle son who sometimes likes to tag along on some of my hikes. Parked a the suggested waypoint and about two hours later we were back at the car after a nice stroll albeit with a few ups and downs to get the heart pumping.
Found all the caches plus a couple of others easily enough along with the final although it took a while before we stumbled upon the main track. Muggle son's name is in the logs as Shano88, he probably wont log online.
Took a few minutes to locate this one once at GZ but we came up with the goods eventually.
AusTrackers I found your cache at 12:36pm, this was the 4th of 9 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2053. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

This was the third cache for the day (afternoon) and things were starting to warm up - there was no wind (surprisingly) and the hills were becoming quite steep. The cache was found quickly and signed before heading off. Thanks to AusTrackers for the cache.
KID FREE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These only come along once in a blue moon, so Janine and I took full advantage of it and headed into the hills.
The day was a bit warmer than we had thought it may be, but we still had a pretty productive day.
Overall we had one DNF and one failure to complete a really easy puzzle.
Thanks for the cache Austrackers

Headed out with MNS13 for some kid free caching in the Wungong Regional Park... By now we are really starting to feel the heat! It was originally forecast to be 28°, but it felt like 38° after we searched around for a few minutes looking for this cache
Thanks AusTrackers After stopping for a drinks break we continued on hoping that there were not many more hills on this hot hot day! Cache was in good condition.

Out today with Geodad with 1 1/2 hours to kill so we tackled The Carpobrotus series. Most were good co-ords and 1 cache took a while longer then others but found in the end.

I had this series on the radar for a while and today was the day to grab some smileys up here. A nice early start and I found the first few by torchlight However, I did have a blonde/senior (which is funny as I am neither) moment in that I recorded the clues for the final wrong and I was not able to grab it . I am not too disappointed though as it means I will have to come here again. The coords were very accurate and all containers were quickly found. TFTC and series Austrackers I will be back
Our second cache for the day after a bit of a caching hiatus... hopefully we will continue the series tomorrow

After work with 2 hours to spare, I decided to do the caches in this hill, I came a cross a number of good hide and all caches were in good condition...TFTC
whilst on Holiday visiting my big sister who is lucky enough to Live in Perth we introduced her to Geocaching her and her Hubby are now hooked we had done plenty of other caches on out travels but this was the first time that she had done a multicache puzzle and oh boy what a puzzle this was it is very well thought out and nice easy finds you have to love the Australian Bush, came across a few Kangaroo's whilst searching the bush land for these which were 7+ feet tall and were not that amused as to having there territory walked all over lol but our year old loved having the roo's so close, hopefully one day these caches will be our local ones.
Out on a morning of caching with the geohubby and we were only intending to do the CPS series but we parked in the wrong spot so we did this series as well. We have definately had a workout this morning walking up and down the hills but it was a nice cool day and we only got rained on twice. All caches were found quickly and info picked up for the final cache at the end TFTC AusTrackers
We were so set on getting to the top of the hill that we missed the turnoff and had to come back. Watch the loose gravel on the descent to this one, geoson had a fall but recovered well. Have been collecting the cards and leaving a few swaps as we continue along. TFTC

Re-logging under new team name ONLINE ONLY (were formerly part of TheChatterboxes but the team had got too large). If CO is not ok with this please contact me. Thanks.
Might not think about attempting a cache with terrain more difficult than this series when we have the geokids with us! There were some pretty big hills for those little legs to go up and down!
Spent a couple of hours picking up a few of the caches in the area:
Cayden's Cache, Churchman Challenge,CPS-10, CPS-09, CPS-11, CPS-08, CPS-12, CPS-07, CPS-27, CPS-28, Brotus, Kermit Froggy, 3, 2, 1, blast off!, The cache on the moon, You are my sunshine..., Herr Heinrich Holzkopf and finally Never Too Old.
I'd done this series including the final some time ago but had some how managed to miss this cache in the process (and had to guess at the final). Made amends today and came and picked it up. TFTC.

Enjoyed wandering around the well marked track. It was starting to heat up and I was super cautious on the hills. Found cache as described. Thanks for the cache AusTrackers.
[:(!] Went for an afternoon of caching with Go Allblacks, arrived at GZ and within a couple of minutes we had the cache in hand. TNLNSL TFTC/TFTH
Was checking all the caches in this area whilst on the way doing a circuit of my own.
About 12 cards left. Found a toy on the ground nearby so put it in the cache.

Out with iluvtrekking for the day so we decided to make a men and ladies team and split the three series in this location between us. The guys headed off to do their half and the girls completed the fabulous Austrackers set of caches before locating the final.Loved it Austrackers.
Found as part of the girls team during a day out with richlink. TFTH Austrackers.
Our path continued and we kept on plodding along, following the magic arrow to our next destination. I think this one was Skulduggery's find as I stood back and fumbled with the GPSr, basically saying that the cache was in 'that direction about xx metres'. Good thing she is all over it!
We grabbed one clue card between us, seeing as we were hunting together
Thanks for the cache AusTrackers
Cheers

Working our way through the series, all going to plan at this point. Grabbed the card, signed the log, onwards. TFTC
As we trekked further into the national park we seem to be dodging more spiders so it became apparent that a spider web disperser was needed. Luckily Wileyclan fitted this role most efficiently, sometimes with the aid of a big stick. Sometimes his upper body did the trick. Hint: never walk infront, let someone else lead.
3rd one in the series, and the distance between these is quite short, you are at the next one before you know it!
Another quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache AusTrackers.

WanderingAus wandered by, chasing the Carpobrotus virescens series so that I could hopefully find GC2V13Y Carpobrotus virescens as my 4,500th find. The gpsr was doing a bit of dancing on this one, and there was also a distracting trail leading off up the hill, but I still managed a fairly quick and easy GAFF 0 find. BAck on the track there was a very nice view of the surrounding farmland.
My find No 4496, LCC, TNLNSL, dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC, my WanderingAus GeoMobile TB and a couple of other travellers in for a visit before grabbing them back again.
There was a pencil in the cache but no pencil sharpener, so I dropped in a pencil sharpener.

Thought I'd get our for an afternoon of walking and geocaching , so I looked for an area of high cache density and found this spot. Great area for a walk, a little hot today but there was a nice breeze when it opened up a little. No problem finding any of the caches... TFT series.
Another nice bushland - didnt see any animals yet. signed the log. Thnaks AusTrackers.
Found this one twice! Must have been daydreaming as managed to forget to collect a finder's card while here the first time! Added about an extra 1km to my afternoon's wanderings to hike back here again once I realised my blunder. But all was well in the end, and managed to see some magnificent red tailed cockatoos in my backtracking. Thanks for the hunt AusTrackers.
A real an undulating terrain, would be very interesting walk in torrential rain.
Anyway found just few meters from our intended path.

Found this one by following a well worn path up the steep hill. Lovely day to be out and about. Gotta keep moving though. No time to stop still today. TFTC AusTrackers
Brotus or Brutal?? Us city people are not so fit that running up and up hills all afternoon doesn't take its toll. A good nights sleep and all will be forgiven. This Regional park is a great way to spend a plesant mild winters afternoon strolling along the pathways and disturbing the native animals. As usual, caches are in excellent condition but clue cards are running very low. TFTC
First one after yesterday have a little more time. Enjoying the walk.
Left toy also picked up cards from previous caches oops.
