Found the original cache and the replacement cache?? Original cache is about ten metres further up the hill than the replacement! Left both in place? We were able to collect all six puzzle piece and will be back for the bonus cache!
Found where it should be but it wasn't so we replaced it. Hope that's ok......just trying to be helpful. If not feel free to delete our log. TFTC AusTrackers
Searched for a while, but afraid of the spiders, so didn't go to far into the bush
Had a good look around but no find today, was a fallen over tree right near the coords, hopefully it hasn’t damaged the cache.
Made an hour this morning for a trip before school. To add to the lovely views on this walk we also saw some Rainbow Bee-eaters catching some breakfast.
Came to do the CPS series but, after seeing that the parking waypoint was right next to the first in this series, decided to double up.
Spotted this hidey hole some distance off. That was the easy part. Now for the return trip up the hill. Those Easter kg's won't know what hit them. Lol. TFTC AusTrackers.

*Out and about letting my GPS be my guide*...
This series caught my eye, I needed a cache or two to continue my streak and I thought that I would take a bite out of it.
A beautiful walk through this lovely area search, found the cache, stamped and returned.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment AusTrackers. Appreciate your efforts.

TFTC! Another Thursday out with Cravo10 to pickup a few more series in the outer suburbs of Perth, I think we may be finally starting to make a dent in the list
We headed to gosnells/kenwick area first picking up the Charli series by Grannett which was similar to the Charli walk series we did quite some time ago but a nice walk along a sealed path for most of the way apart from a few deviations into the bush. We found them all except number 3 which we may return to in the dry season!!
We then tried for a few allied prankster archived caches from the ants and birds series, with 5 of the 6 attempted located safe and sound although we did have to add a logbook to two of them as someone had damaged the micro caches. All still there and working well otherwise.
With Cravo10 rolling his ankle it made the day a bit tougher, but I did make him soldier through the CPS series near roleystone and the carpobrotus series by austrackers nearby which were both enjoyable and all found in easy logical spots, we will return another day to grab the three final caches as well as me and Bs caches further up the road.
Thanks to the local COS for a great days caching. Thanks

Found Vire. The cache was neatly wrapped up in a waterproof bag. Took souvenir finder card LN SL TFTH AusTrackers.
After caching in the area last Saturday we decided to come back and visit the nearby Araluen Park and hunt down some of the remaining hides. The two series in the Wungong Regional Park were very inviting, so we left the car at the published parking area and off we went.
The hides in the Carpobrotus virescens were pretty easy to find, so I just add a generic log saying thanks for the effort.

Headed out to do this series today with the muggle son who sometimes likes to tag along on some of my hikes. Parked at the suggested waypoint and about two hours later we were back at the car after a nice stroll albeit with a few ups and downs to get the heart pumping.
Found all the caches plus a couple of others easily enough along with the final although it took a while before we stumbled upon the main track. Muggle son's name is in the logs as Shano88, he probably wont log online.
After taking a wrong turn and ending up in what looked private property we eventually found ourselves on the right track, the dowhill track at that. The last finder made a note in the log "I don't like hills" which made me smile I had to write ditto before climbing back up.
AusTrackers I found your cache at 12:57pm, this was the 6th of 9 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2055. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

First cache for the afternoon after parking about 130 mtrs away at the gate. I was cautious with the bag and a large hairy spider dropped out. I don't like spiders, but still managed to sign the log and replace the cache (in the bag) before leaving for the next in the series. Thanks to AusTrackers for the cache.
KID FREE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These only come along once in a blue moon, so Janine and I took full advantage of it and headed into the hills.
The day was a bit warmer than we had thought it may be, but we still had a pretty productive day.
Overall we had one DNF and one failure to complete a really easy puzzle.
Thanks for the cache Austrackers

Headed out with MNS13 for some kid free caching in the Wungong Regional Park... Another quick find was made here after having an easier walk down the hill But of course there was no rest for us as we had to turn around and make our way back up it!
Thanks AusTrackers Cache was in good condition.

Out today with Geodad with 1 1/2 hours to kill so we tackled The Carpobrotus series. Most were good co-ords and 1 cache took a while longer then others but found in the end.
THTS Austrackers.
Got to log and someone found by accident LOL but they replaced where should be and so did I.

I had this series on the radar for a while and today was the day to grab some smileys up here. A nice early start and I found the first few by torchlight However, I did have a blonde/senior (which is funny as I am neither) moment in that I recorded the clues for the final wrong and I was not able to grab it . I am not too disappointed though as it means I will have to come here again. The coords were very accurate and all containers were quickly found. TFTC and series Austrackers I will be back
Good to be back out in the Perth Hills again, it's been a while, life's too busy!
This one got the heart pumping but wasn't long before we found it, no problems at all. Saw a few roos stalking us along the way!!

After work with 2 hours to spare, I decided to do the caches in this hill, I came a cross a number of good hide and all caches were in good condition...TFTC
whilst on Holiday visiting my big sister who is lucky enough to Live in Perth we introduced her to Geocaching her and her Hubby are now hooked we had done plenty of other caches on out travels but this was the first time that she had done a multicache puzzle and oh boy what a puzzle this was it is very well thought out and nice easy finds you have to love the Australian Bush, came across a few Kangaroo's whilst searching the bush land for these which were 7+ feet tall and were not that amused as to having there territory walked all over lol but our year old loved having the roo's so close, hopefully one day these caches will be our local ones.
Out on a morning of caching with the geohubby and we were only intending to do the CPS series but we parked in the wrong spot so we did this series as well. We have definately had a workout this morning walking up and down the hills but it was a nice cool day and we only got rained on twice. All caches were found quickly and info picked up for the final cache at the end TFTC AusTrackers
This is the spot we chose to stop and enjoy the scenery and a bite to eat. TFTHike, we are enjoying the exercise.
Gotta love weekends! After a crazy week, was great to get out on the geocaching trail again. Am certainly getting a bit of a cardio workout doing these ones - geobuddy Mark doesn't know how to "stroll". Thanks for the enjoyable exercise AusTrackers
Starting to think nasty thoughts at this stage. Tip for any teams which might be trying this one... be the person to go first. The first person stirs up the ants and there was no escape for any who follow, namely me! Not too bad on the way down but on the way back up... no chance of stopping for a breathe, those little brown blighters sank their teeth in just as soon as I slowed my gait.
Thanks.... I think....
Thanks.... I think....
First of the series attempted today with KC41194.
Planning on collecting all the nearby ones!
One of 20 finds for the day!

Somehow missed this one on the first sweep but got it on the way back. And no flies! TFTC.
Re-logging under new team name ONLINE ONLY (were formerly part of TheChatterboxes but the team had got too large). If CO is not ok with this please contact me. Thanks.
Do not stop or the ants will get you! Great photo spot along this part of the path.
After doing Carpo, this should have been my next port of call. However, after recording my find on my GPSr at Carpo, I just selected "Find Next" and my GPSr directed me to the coordinates provided for the puzzle cache. So I spent a good 30 minutes searching in that area before actually checking the name of the cache and realising I was in the wrong place at the wrong time ... doh!
Quick find once I got here. SL. LN. Grabbed a finder's card. TFTH AusTrackers

This was hideous. There were ants everywhere and we were getting eating alive. After Mickeydv made the thankfully quick find I grabbed the card and the GPS and raced back up the hill. Gallantly he hung around long enough to sign the log. Thanks for the cache AusTrackers. Thankfully no ants in my pants but there were plenty squahed around my ankles.
Must honestly say that this is the most ants I've ever seen.....hopped around while signing log....then ran back up hill...thanks for the adventure AusTrackers
[:(!] Went for an afternoon of caching with Go Allblacks, arrived at GZ and within a couple of minutes we had the cache in hand. TNLTBSL TFTC/TFTH
Thanks to donaldoduck1 for taking the time to "refind" the cache. It had been completely covered by a white ant colony and he has now liberated it, so all good to go. Many thanks donaldoduck1.
I was out this way and was also going to check and met donaldoduck1 on his way back after finding the cache.
Unfortunately you will still have to attend sometime as the container needs replacing as there is only one lid fastener holding the lid.

Hmmm..........have now had two sources of information saying there might be trouble with this cache. We were hoping to be able to check on it today but that didn't happen, so disabling for now and we will check ASAP.
Looked Everywhere
However,
Fire Break Maintannance has gone through
the Track it may have wiped out this one out
Probbably check this one out

Out with iluvtrekking for the day so we decided to make a men and ladies team and split the three series in this location between us. The guys headed off to do their half and the girls completed the fabulous Austrackers set of caches before locating the final. It was a steep climb back up that slope to go onto Scens to complete the series before the final.Loved it Austrackers.
Found as part of the girls team during a day out with richlink. TFTH Austrackers.
My goodness gracious me, what are you two trying to do to us? Kill everyone off before they can complete your series? The walk down the hill was not so bad, a few slips on the loose gravel. We took some time to find the cache as the mud that is left on it from the termite attack (reading WanAus' past log explains a lot of things - NOW) helped blend it in somewhat to its surrounds. It was only after we revisited the hiding spot a few times that I spotted it.
So, now to the killing us off bit. That climb back up the hill sure takes your breath away doesn't it? We were glad that there was another cache 'just up there' as it helped keep the feet plodding along.
OK, OK, it wasn't THAT bad, but it did get the heart rate up a little!
We grabbed one clue card between us, seeing as we were hunting together
Thanks for the cache AusTrackers
Cheers

Bit of a detour from the path to get this one, but quickly back on track. Appears to have been buried by termites, but dug out by Skulduggery ahead of us. Grabbed the card, signed the log and off to the last one. TFTC
Luckily Wileyclan spotted this one as I was too busy looking in the obvious spot while keeping a close watch on the spiders guarding the area. TFTC.
A little detour from the main trail to find this one, and it has now been moved away from the termites nest of mud (but by only a foot or so), and all is in good condition here.
Thanks for the cache AusTrackers!

WanderingAus wandered by, chasing the Carpobrotus virescens series so that I could hopefully find GC2V13Y Carpobrotus virescens as my 4,500th find. The walk down the hill was great for getting my breath back, but I knew I'd have to turn around and go back up, so I was happy to make a very quick and easy GAFF 0 find. It would have been quicker, but a nest of termites had been busy since the last find and had almost completely encased the container. After cleaning it up as much as I could I re-hid it about 30 cm from the original spot, hopefully clear of the termites.
My find No 4498, LCC, TNLNSL, dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC, my WanderingAus GeoMobile TB and a couple of other travellers in for a visit before grabbing them back again.
There was a pencil in the cache but no pencil sharpener, so I dropped in a pencil sharpener.

Thought I'd get our for an afternoon of walking and geocaching , so I looked for an area of high cache density and found this spot. Great area for a walk, a little hot today but there was a nice breeze when it opened up a little. No problem finding any of the caches... TFT series.
We were looking and the team suddenly found themselves with ants all over our shoes. It would have been a funny sight to see us all stamping and jumping around trying to get them off. Too late to find the hidden cache. Will return another time. A great afternoon, all up. TFTH
Had some trouble negotiating the gauntlet of vicious ants on the way to this one. My shoes and trousers acted like magnets to the hungry hordes and was very grateful to reach a patch of ant-free ground to beat them off. But the cache was another easy find and yet another FC to the collection. Thanks again AusTrackers.
Just found number 2 in the series. Looking forward to tracking down the rest. The kids love putting the cards together to try and figure it out. TFTC!!
Slight diversion off the natural path to pick up this Cache, the terrain rating is very accurate !!!

With The Machman trying to do a very long list of caches today. Was very rewarding to find this cache just where it was supposed to be. What a lovely regional park. Shame about the hills though. TFTC AusTrackers
Mrs Jacaro spotted this hide while we were strolling towards another series in the area. Very handy person to have along especially as I was blinded by the sweat running down my glasses. TFTC.
Wow in parts the path was a sea of ants, look out they bite. Thanks for the cache from the welch family.
Wow got all cards but looking on gps did not have grid. A phone call gave all the wrong info I found out after trekking back to Carpobrotus. Tried a couple of combos and gave up. Here I sit at home wishing I had the info back there.
There s always tomorrow.
There s always tomorrow.
Please excuse the cut and paste for this series.
We had a couple of days before the kids finished school for 2 weeks so it was decided to hit a few caches and get some much needed exercise while we were at it.
This series fits the bill with plenty of hills to get the blood pumping and some amazing views to help take your breath away.
All caches were well placed and easy enough to find once the GPS settled and that is what you need when doing a series like this.
This is the type of walk and thought that makes AusTrackers caches a cut above the norm, the efforts you guys go to! it makes doing your caches a pleasure and always a sense of an achievement at the final goal.
Thanks for making the game so much fun.
