As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. Didn't find as others are saying

26-Jan-13
No cache. Please take this down. Big waste of time.

22-Jan-13
This is a dead cache...there is only a lid of the bucket left there. Access to the park is actually prohibited due to council maintenance. Once the park re-opens it should be a great spot for a decent cache or two as it is big enough!

18-Jan-13
Cache is long gone

11-Jan-13
Found the cache; however, it has been muggled...

31-Dec-12
Beautiful park but the cache is gone. Probably shouldn't have been hidden in this manner in first place. The lid is still there and you can clearly see how it was hidden.

30-Dec-12
Third confirmation - the lid is still there though. Probably needed more camouflage?

15-Dec-12
Like the previous log I too was with a previous finder today and can confirm that the cache is MIA.Sad We found the lid but nothing else. CO maintenance is required.

24-Nov-12
DNF @ 00:47. Even with a previous finder with us, we couldn't locate this hide. Perhaps the CO should check on this one. The first of 2 DNF for the night (compared to 31 finds).

29-Oct-12
Procrastinating from exam study, so what do you do??? Go caching!!! Big cache took nothing left a mondo soldier. (who remembers these)? Plenty of frogs calling today. Nice area.

22-Oct-12
Hmmmm... Found this one easily, this won't stay long before it's removed by the council. Could have put a bit more effort into this one! Only a scrap of paper for a log book and some old dusty trinkets Sad

13-Oct-12
Have just joined. Finally logging after finding several weeks ago.

13-Oct-12
My biggest cache find yet!awesome

07-Oct-12
Pretty easy this one. I can't believe some over-zealous park cleaning brigade hasn't removed this one before now. To be fair though, for a big cache the stuff in it is pretty naff. It's a shame really because this one has so much potential. We loved finding it though and swapped a glass marble for a pink rubber bouncy ball.

Also, ss mentioned before by cachers, the log book is missing so we signed the information sheet in the cache.

02-Oct-12
First cache in oz. T and M

29-Sep-12
Found it! No log book, but a piece of paper that a few others have also signed. Left behind an alligator beanie baby. FIRST EVER CACH!

19-Sep-12
Came with Erin-Rose who has previously been here. Log book is missing, so signed back of information sheet. TFTC.

20-Aug-12
I made a flying visit to Melbourne today to find 7 particular caches for Geosportz that I couldnt find in Tassie. This was the fourth of the seven and luckily it was an easy find, but then how could anyone miss something that big Big Grin
Thanks for the cache deanchenz

A damp, but fun ride on the mountain bike past my old haunts in the northern suburbs, and down the Darebin Creek.

Wow. Biggest cache I've seen.

What a pretty spot. I'll definitely have to bring the little one back here when it isn't raining... and bring some decent sized swaps (it would have felt ridiculous leaving the tiny trinkets I carried today).

Find # 1726

I headed out this afternoon and decided to drive towards the greensborough as I had not really cached in this area and wanted to explore the area. It was a reasonable afternoon for a winters day and the sun even popped its head out every now and then, I really could not ask for much more.

What a fantastic little wetlands area, I searched for a few caches in the area and this was the only one I managed to find. I just love large caches and they are pretty rare these days, especially in suburbia.

Thanks to deanchenz for the cache. TNLN.

18-May-12
Wow, that's kind of... huge, for an urban cache! I read the other logs but didn't really visualize how big it was. Smallest and I went for a wander across the water and talked to the ducks, then made the cache find. Sadly, we left our swap stuff up in the car. Perhaps next time. Thanks for the cache, deanchenz.

12-May-12
Got to GZ and commenced to look for it, but just then a small group of youths started to use the nearby tracks with their skateboards and bikes. Filming themselves up and down the steep tracks.
Waited for about 15 minutes for them to go away, but gave up and thought it was fruitless for now. Last thing I wanted was give away the spot to potentially some destructive muggles.

06-May-12
Love this huge cache. It's amazing how well it is hidden from a distance. Up close it's a long way from in your face also.

Hard to miss this one! Unfortunately looks like muggles are on to it too......removed a very inappropriate drawing and comment from the log book. Thanks for bringing us here to enjoy the area-it's a lovely place.

22-Mar-12
Out and about on my own today whislt on my non working day. Clearing out some of the caches in the north. Parked neary by and have just done another cache. Just love this area and so close to the houses and shops to appreciate it. Took the walk around the lake area to GZ, co ords were out but with the size of the cache you cannot miss it. Just windened your search a little and you will have it in hand. This would be a little tricky on the busy day.
Nice easy find, great location.
Thanks for the cache.

04-Mar-12
Found this neat cache on the way to the airport for a flight to Qld.
Took a seat on the seat, and waited untill the muggles had passed by.
Went in search of the cache and found the biggest container yet
Many thanks deanchenz for the well hidden cache.

Found it today in the company of my Geo-dad who is visiting from the old country. This area is about 20 mins from home, and there is a remaining large cluster of unfound caches around here.
What a lovely area. God-dad was very keen on the appearance of the new apartments opposite. It really is a nice looking area.
Find was easily made by Geo-dad. Wow that's an impressive cache size !
Lots of trackables in here today, we took one. It's likely to go into one of my caches in Lancashire England.

20-Dec-11
A very satifying size! I dived in and made a couple of swaps. Thanks deanchenz.

11-Dec-11
When I read the previous logs, I should have guessed what this container would be! I'll be surprised if it lasts long in this location. Hard to avoid the muggles. A bold cache! Thanks deanchenz.

03-Dec-11
Thanks

30-Nov-11
if i knew it was going to be this big. i would of bought my kitchen sink.
thanks for bringing me to this lovely spot.
[:x]

27-Nov-11
Revisited this during the day with the SCC and was alarmed to see that the syringes I reported were still nearby. I will upload a pic for proof but will have to tell the local council.

20-Nov-11
Well this is the largest cache I've found so far (bigger than the ammo cans)at 299. I really liked this park/water area. t's good to see that our urban planners are getting things a little better than once they used to (i.e. 1970's lack of vision). I swapped some body lotion for one of my new "treasure bags" full of loot for a child. Plenty of room in this one for it. Also dropped in a TB (although I also note no sign of the TB already listed for this one). TFTC.

19-Nov-11
First cache for the day and it's a big one... Easily found. TFTC

16-Nov-11
This was one of the caches targetted by our group (Ian and Penny, Phetlern and oursleves) during a very entertaining day of caching. With thanks to deanchenz for placing the cache.

16-Nov-11
2nd find of the day, and 3088th total find at 11:09:00 AM.
Found on a caching foray into an area that none of us have been to before.

We thoroughly enjoued this cache, although our approach may not have been the one originally intended by the cache owner.

We can't see why this cache had a "Needs Maintenance" atribute, as it is in good condition. Nor did we find a bucket of syringed as alluded to by a previous cacher, so an "Owner Maintenance" log by the owner should clear the undaserved attribute.

Took: Nothing
Left: Screwdriver
Thanks deanchenz for the cache

Out caching with teams Ian & Penny and Liz & Bruce. Some of the team members arrived at the GZ via an unorthodox method and were then distracted by nearby possibilities, but P-P spotted the hiding spot of the very large container. It's great to see this size rather than the continuous monotony of micro-small type containers - well done.

TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt deanchenz.

16-Nov-11
Great Cache. BIG !!
Love it.

06-Nov-11
Wow, what a massive cache. After a bit of a search, due to the gps going round in circles. Advice to others, don't waste your time looking behind the seat, look towards the water. I say this because i ended up with all these annoying little grass prickles in my socks and i don't wish this upon anyone.

30-Oct-11
I parked as close as i could to this one , but struggle to find a way down to GZ Surprised. After a bit of investigation and a small leap of faith, i begun my search. It still took a bit of a hunt before the whopper was found Razz. A nice little area, thanks for bringing me here deanchenz Big Grin

Found with Irontoad. We were amazed at the size of this cache. Great work deanchenz. The wetlands is amazing as well. Left a baseball and took a quartz stone. Thanks for showing this area we wouldn't otherwise have seen.

30-Sep-11
Dropped past here this morning while picking up a few TB's in the area to take overseas with me next week - no sign of a travel bug in the cache, & no sign of the syringes that were seen last week. Left behind some swag while I was there anyway Smile

24-Sep-11
thnxs for advice, will pass this bye if too dangerous surrounds

23-Sep-11
Do NOT go here! We uncovered a large box of medical syringes. My partner mistook it for the cache- very dangerous. Needle packets lying everywhere in the surrounding bushes.

21-Sep-11
Found 14:30, in the company of Muzza.

TNLN, CSI=2, thanks deanchenz

21-Sep-11
We arrived at GZ and began our search. I just assumed it was a small or micro, and thus began searching for such. When Biggles Bear #1 mentioned that it was Large, I changed my search and quickly located it. It is certainly huge.

Just a note, I found a used syringe nearby. The area doesn't look like a shooting gallery, so it was probably a one-off. Thanks for the cache.

18-Sep-11
Wow - awesome cache container. TFTC

15-Sep-11
Took Travel Bug.

07-Sep-11
Yesss!! We found it! I can't believe such a HUGE cache was our nemesis. I'm almost ashamed to admit this was our third time out searching for it, even if the first time was with no glasses and the second was in the middle of the night with a half dead torch. Either way, we have CONQUERED you, bucket list! Smile Took nothing, left a few kiddy-swaps like a badge, pig LED torch and some marbles. Also left Misty the travel bug. Pretty little cat just starting out her adventure Smile

While on my way home after been shopping I decided to stop and complete a few caches since it was such a nice day to be out.
I parked the car at the display building and walked in. There were a fwe muggles sitting on the seat on the bridge face the other direction so searching was easy.
I initially found a pen on the ground, so I suspected I was in the right area. When I found the cache I went back to the pen as that was a great location to sit and do the paperwork.

Out caching with the 4yo and a friend of mine. The co-ords had me in the middle of the open grass area, but it obviously wasn't there. Almost gave up after hunting around and finding all the yucky stuff mentioned in earlier logs. Looked both side of the path and still couldn't see it.

The 4yo sat and rested on the nearby seat as we gave it one last look, and coming from a different direction I spotted it. The 4yos eyes went wide with surprise and I wished I had brought some swaps for her. Great to see such a big cache in an urban area.

28-Aug-11
Feel very silly now! Wink Will have to head out (WITH MY GLASSES, THIS TIME!) on the way home from work Smile

28-Aug-11
Just checked and cache is still in place

23-Aug-11
Searched for this cache today with anthonyc- armed with lots of goodies to stash it with based on a couple of the previous comments. Both of our GPS' took us to the exact same spot which seemed to line up well with the comments, so we thought we'd be in for an easy one. Sadly after almost an hour searching, even having seen Sylvias picture of the cache, all we came across were a LOT of beer cans, bourbon bottles, etc. They all seemed very fresh so I sincerely hope this wasn't muggled last night, but it wouldn't surprise me.

If cache owner or someone who has found previously is in the area, it may be worth a check... Who knows, it IS possible we were completely blind today!

22-Aug-11
Found at 12:43. What a GREAT cache! Took TB & left a few keyrings. SL, TFTC. Smile

06-Aug-11
Nice hide.

06-Aug-11
Found this cache on a cold and wet day with Ostara74 and LouiseAnn. We were out to grab a quick cache or two between the rain clouds. Scrambled down the quick way to this cache, as many others seem to have done before. LouiseAnn found the cache while I was looking on the wrong side of the GZ. It is very nice to see a large container being used in suburbia. The cache is in good condition. Thanks for the cache deanchenz.

06-Aug-11
Found with Pathfinder24 and LouiseAnn in between rain showers. Great large cache! Left a TB and grabbed the Canadian coin. Thanks!

06-Aug-11
Found today on a very quick caching trip with Pathfinder24 and Ostara74. I'm always a fan of a large cache and this one was the closest one to home. We headed up and approached from the closet place the GPS lead us. This turned out to be a bit of a mistake, as the approach was a bit challenging. Thankfully there was no rain at the time. The cache is an amazingly simple hide, which we located quickly. We left a TB, grabbed the Canadian coin. The Princess TB didn't appear to be in the cache. Thanks for the cache deanchenz

Searched for this just on dusk last night and was quite surprised at how large the cache was. Duh!! Wasn't thinking very well was I?
Even though I had found a similar one out at Blackwood I hadn't imagined that any one could hide a cache so well and so large in the city. Made my day after two long days baby sitting the grand kids.
