Reperio 15:17Day 1 of my little escapade towards Albury for the weekend, and after spending the night at Bowral, it was on to Tumbarumba this evening. On a drizzly day, it was nice to get out and find a few roadside caches, and this one was soon located and signed.Gratias The Britto'sAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
#6618.This was our last cache after a wonderful day out exploring and caching. It also happened to be one of the favorites for the kiddies. The swapped some swag after completing the admin. TFTC! FP awarded.
Out with LLRPP on our way to Tantangara. Log trucks are busy on the road. All good here. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
Found while on an Easter camping trip with the family, staying at Mannus Lake. TFTC

Short stop on the way into town. Quick find here and we rehid it better as it was showing. TFTC
Been to Tumba-bloody-rumba finding geo-bloody-caches! Finalf29 and I are taking a few sidetracks on the way home... caching of course... may take a few days
Amazing how dark it is under these pines. Loved the sound of the bubbling creek. Sad the blackberries are starting to take over... thank goodness not near GZ... yet. Thanks

I needed a break, so my daughter and I went for a short walk to find this cache. It was soon in hand. TFTC!
On a point A to A road trip without my favourite ally OZREG. It's too cold for him anyway, LOL. It is a very cold day in May, but the rain was fantastic! We are out visiting family who are well and truly awaiting our arrival after such a long, but necessary hiatus.
As the caches on my list are quick stop and go's, this is a generic log, and I shall only add additional comments if needs must. Thanks to the _ stephenson 5, jacko*, Roostaman, The Ciscokids, Mrs Roosta and the Britto's for providing and maintaining these hides.

I had field work at Tumbarumba today and an early start meant I could get a couple of caches on the way. After failing at the nearby church (now private property) this was a quick find in an area that escaped the fires. The hide however is almost gone and I added more camo before leaving . The TB listed is also missing.

With a long weekend looming plans were hatched to go and do some caching in Wagga
Wagga. So Rapidlywild and only the monkey half of the FFLL team hit the road on Friday after
work. A lot of different caches were found while driving around the area enjoying the views and the lovely weather.
After the rain the wander up was a little damp but a quick find at GZ and signed and on our way.
Thanks for the hide The Britto's and thanks Rapidlywild for a successful weekend away.

With a long weekend in Canberra, a geocaching trip away was calling us. So FurfacesLL and myself made plans to hit the road and revisit Wagga Wagga to do some more caching. A large range of caches were collected, many terrain and some lovely country views enjoyed.
Today we decided to do the W2T and T2W caches and enjoy the drive. Most were found easily, however we did notch up a couple DNF's today due to changed locations.
Thanks for the hide The Britto's And thanks to FFLL for another fun weekend out and about the Wagga and surrounds region

Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks The Britto's for the cache.
Heading away for a few days with my non caching hubby and while caching isn't the main objective, I will try a make the most of any I finds along the way, that hubby is happy to stop for. We are going to try a bit of rough camping in a swag, rather than our caravan or motor home, getting back to nature.. With no set plan but taking the opportunity to grab a few finds along the way as we weaved our way down the back tracks, heading across to Corroyong. Interesting to see the different agriculture, crops and landscapes along the way and it is so very lush at present, when other areas are very very dry.
We made some great discoveries, clever hides and generally enjoyed the caches we found, which took us to some interesting places, which we wouldn't probably see if it wasn't for caching. Hubby enjoyed the weekend and even found the odd cache. We had a few good laughs along the way.
This was a lovely little spot to take a break and I made a quick discovery.
Thanks The Britto's for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

Found it after pausing to listen the sheep and the birds. So many different sounds to be heard on a warm winters afternoon.
Quick f ok nd at a great bicycle campsite across the road. Sheltered picnic table and nearby toilets. Tftc.
Those Hume and Hovell guys would have had more fun if the caches had been on their walk when they trekked across this great land of ours.

We stopped to find this cache on the way out to the small cemetry. On the way back we spotted a car that we recognised so pulled over to talk to macamob who are in town to go to the same 70th birthday party that we are going to attend on New Years Eve.
Thanks The Britto's for placing this cache.

Found by Mary & David at 1500. Loving this area that is very new to us. So good to be off the major roads and the heavy holiday traffic. On our way to Tumbarumba to help celebrate a dear caching friend's 70th birthday. While we were here, Di Morgan arrived, on their way to the same party tomorrow evening. Dropped off "Torti Schlumpf" TB. Our thanks to The Britto's.
A good little hide in a place with plenty of parking.
Whilst doing the Hume and Hovell walk we left a car shuttle vehicle alt the little picnic area around the corner, so the spot was very familiar.

Ok ... time for a road trip - Mum and Dad came down from Qld, in their campervan, for a visit, then Mum flew home (ready to go overseas with a friend) and Dad and I headed off in the campervan, on a trip from Canberra (where I live) to Adelaide (where I was born) for his sister's 80th ... we spent a week driving there the long way, and taking our time visiting some interesting places and checking out a few places we used to visit/live/etc ... and stopping for me to find the odd cache or 5 ... or more ... lol
We then spent a week around Norlunga, Moana, Sellicks Beach, Mt Compas, etc catching up/visiting/doing things with relatives, and driving around looking at places we used to live/do stuff/etc, and a few beaches and other interesting things ... and me finding caches here and there as we went
TFTC - I had fun taking fotos of funky fungi

11041. Found during a caching run down through the Tumut region this weekend with Sol de Lune.
Day 2 of our drive and caching run around the area. This is probably the seventh or eighth time I've been caching around here. Next find of the day. Lovely driving around this area ! Parked nearby and crossed the road to this one. SDL made a quick find. Signed, returned, and it was off to the next one.
Thanks again The Britto's !!

Next stop in the run of caches on day 2 of our visit to the area.....some neat little hides as well as a couple of interesting spots.
Thanks for the cache The Britto's......wouldn't be seeing the area without the caches to entice us out here.

The final day of our High Country holiday.
Travelling from Tumbarumba back home to Beechworth with Bettyboo3747.
Hit the occasional cache on the way, that would be the ones we didn't do in the way up.
As we were staying in Tumbarumba last night we saw a heaps of timber trucks go back and forth. It is amazing there is any forest left here at all!
A nice spot to pull over. Also a nice picnic spot just over the road.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 10034. Our last day of the holiday and today we are travelling back to Beechworth and stopping for caches along the way. Beautiful scenery was a bonus today, on roads mostly untravelled by me previously (until we got back to Towong)!
On our way back to town after visiting The Family Plot. and thought it might be tied in with that but that wasn't the case. Such a lovely picnic area on the other side of the road. We clambered up and soon had the cache to hand. Left a small geocoin today and also one of my Black Mask Pathtags.
Thanks The Britto's

Nice to see a good sized container, we ended up spending the night just down from here at the mannus campsite.
Today was day 3 of our trip heading south to the great southern parts of our country, being Victoria and Tasmania. This was a very nice quick and easy find in the obvious place. Reading all the available information helped. After the log had been signed the cache was replaced as found. TFTC.
Thanks for cache in a delightfully pine scented location and finding a rare 'regular' sized cache was an added bonus. The cache was found last year on a rather brisk morning so the fish were rising while a light fog settled on the water of the nearby lake, the scene really was quite pretty. Thanks for giving me a reason to stop and explore the local area before work.
Travelling along some roads that are unfamiliar to us the overcast autumn day. Collecting caches along the way as we make our way to Rosewood to visit Mrs harrowang's cousin. What a pleasant place to park before making our way up the slope to the cache. SL at 11.45am TN Left: gumnut PT which seemed appropriate. #2912 Looks like we will have to return at a later date and check out Mannus Lake. TFTC The Britto's
What a day! We planned a drive to Tumbarumba, then Tumut and back to Wagga, but took a wrong turn somewhere. As we found a constant trail of caches, we were happy to continue. We passed through some pretty country, and stopped at some amazing places. Travelled up, down and around some big hills, and along some very winding roads. By the time we were ready to head back to the caravan, the GPS read that we were 210kms away, so we arrived back much later than planned.
Cache was found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, The Britto's, for us and others to find.

A very pretty spot to stop & grab a cache. Taking the road lass travelled from Wodonga where we have been house sitting to Tumut. SL TFTC
I enjoyed the chance to park the geomobile, step out, and stop and smell the conifers
Ah !! Norsca fresh !!
A short scramble up the slope and I was in needle heaven.
Needles, needles everywhere.
They tend to bury everything, but this cache was in a neat little spot where I could still find it
Not your typical cache in a needlestack at all [^]

Got that ole travel urge again and the need for some new uncharted places. So Victoria here I come. Travelling down the Hume Highway to Tumblong, Tumit, Batlow, Corryong then on to Albury. and all points South to the HCRT Series, and also find other caches on the way. Nice cache. TFTC

Found during an afternoon drive after work. No passing traffic was seen as I scurried up the bank for a quick find. All of Tumba Shire must have still been at their Cup parties. Dipped a coin through. Many thanks.
