This was an amazing, beautiful walk with so much variety of scenery, different types of bushland, trees, water, fungi of every type and colour. A fantastic last day to end a short holiday in the area. Really loved this whole walk. Thanks 2y'stassies

We decided to do some small hikes today including this one, with a cache at the waterfall a big enticement. It was a little slippery but we were able to make the find and then stopped at the falls for a snack - tftc!

25-Dec-19
Stayed for a few nights at Lemonthyme. After yesterday’s exhausting hike on Mt. Cradle it was a relaxing stroll to the falls today.
With the hint it wasn’t a problem to find it.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining.
Greetings from Switzerland.

Found during a great morning hike from Lemonthyme lodge. Very nice falls. Thanks for the hide and the hint since I enjoy the journey more than a long search for the find.

Was attending a conference with geohubby at Lemonthyme Lodge and decided to do some of the walks in the area. Despite atrocious weather I braved the elements and managed to find this cache without getting the GPS out of my sodden pack. A lovely spot made special by snow swirling around the base. TFTC!

Had a very pleasant walk into the waterfall and found the cache without much fuss. What a great spot! Well worth the walk. The cache was in good shape, but bring a pencil or a pencil sharpener as I broke the point off of it and I didn't have my sharpener with me. Whoops.

TFTC!!!

One of four caches we found today and they were all brilliant. We love waterfalls so to find three in one day was a bonus. We completed this waterfall first then continued on to Bridal Veil falls then headed off to No Name Falls. The track between the two was very enjoyable with plenty of ferns, myrtle and moss to take our eye. Plenty of water cascading down today which was very spekky. The hint made for a quick find. Thanks 2y'stassies for being a part of a memorable day's caching. Took Geocoin and Dropped off Suzie the Walllaby TB TFTC

After the other caches I was starting to slow a tad....finally made the turnoff and a short clamber down to the base along a well crafted track. The falls sure had the champers flowing and with quite a roar too. A real spectacle in such a beautiful location. To be able to access 3 sets of falls in such a short distance really is something else and just showcases what Tassie has to offer. Cache was easily to hand and all well. Thoroughly enjoyed the adventure...what a top day. With so many caches in this area the Lemonthyme Lodge would make a superb base for visiting Geocachers in a truly tranquil and beautiful setting. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience...so many thanks 2y'stassies...a ripper spot.....cheers. 5 thumbs up too.

Been here before about a year ago, but made another visit to do some maintenance on the Bridal Veil cache (starting to feel like my own!) and place a new cache at No Name Falls. Did the latter walk first, accompanied by forthferalz and it was a great time of year to visit as there was an amazing variety of colourful fungi along the trail. We separated at the Lodge and me and Indy continued along the other loop trail, grabbing this cache along the way.

It was nice to visit again; there was heaps of water coming over the falls and a lot of spray-- hence the name, I suppose! A waterfall made of champagne, who would have thought... Razz Cache was found quickly due to a good hint. It was a lovely walk; we definitely prefer the trail through the forest than the 4wd track. Oh and all bridges have been replaced so no rock hopping or being carried across the stream (ahem) required!!

After a relaxing night at the lodge it was time to put on the walking boots and go geocaching. Waterfalls are always worth a visit but when you can cache too that's a bonus. Beautiful falls and incredible conglomerate walls. TFTC

Decided to do this one differently, so parked at the nearest point on Cradle Mtn road and followed the arrow through the bush.
Was quite a strenuous exercise, took us 2 hours all up, so probably quicker to go via the lodge, but a lot more exciting!
The falls were great today.
Was here 6 years ago...thanks for making me revisit.
