Not sure if we found the right cache as it was not a film container, but found at coordinates so assuming its this one. Many old logs in the cache, most damaged. Thanks!
Took a bit longer than it probably shouldve as I checked every spot but the correct one, eventually got it, log signed and replaced as found.Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry.Greetings from MelbourneTftc
Our last cache of the night getting us to a total of 999. Thanks for placing this cache, now we will log the Mega that will be our 1000th! Been a long day but super happy to hit the milestone
March 29, 2024 12:09Found during Capital GeoBash 2024 with AidenELTFTC Minifig Ant, this is find #27 for me. Aza34
Looked around for about half an hour. No clue where it is will have to come back another time
Out for a walk this morning before playing some bridge at the Rex hotel in an large bridge congress held in Canberra every January. Thanks to Minifig Ant for placing this cache. Quickly find. Greetings from New Zealand
Saw a familiar cacher, good thing too since I overthought the hiding place so wouldve thought it wasnt there.
Couldnt look today, pm Saturday Masters Athletics meeting sit down on top of cache.
I’m pretty sure I decided the hint correctly, but no joy. Tom’s of dog poop bags made it a bit less appealing to search.
This was part of the evening caching hunt. Our day could be sliced into three sections: morning Geo bash tour, afternoon scooter-caching around lake burley griffin, and then night caching after dinner.

The hint seemed like a time waster, so I was pleased it was in a sensible place and I didn't need the hint. TftC.
Cache trouvée assez facilement, cela dit le papier est en mauvais état et assez mouillé il faudrait le changer ou en ajouter d'autres pour les prochains
Coords are a long way out as to be expected with older caches. No pen with me so didn't sign but have taken a photo just in case.

I don't know, there was something about this park that made me feel really uncomfortable. I guess it could have been the overgrown mess of fallen trees that looked over me as I quickly made the find. TFTC
Took longer to spot than it should have. Got there in the end after scouring previous images.
Nice oval and a crafty hint. The athletics installations are intriguing. I wonder how much aths actually occurs here.
Cheers

In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Canberra isn't my usual weekend destination, but I was very fortunate to be here on this one in particular for educational purposes!
Of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to sneak in some caches and try to improve my ACT stats from the two trads I found here years ago!
This afternoon, I was greatly aided by the e-scooters spread across the city with less restrictions placed upon them than back in Melbourne (perhaps due to locals not possessing the same compulsion to toss them into the area's main water body as the Yarra seemingly evokes) though they're still a little pricey for regular use!
Still, they were perfect for zipping up to my event in an efficient manner while having time to grab some various hides on the way!
With the e-scooter meter still running, I was determined to make this find a quick one.
My hopes weren't especially high when I saw the scale of the structure and accompanying task I was met with!
However, luck was really on my side today as the first spot I checked happened to have the cache tucked within.
Thanks to Minifig Ant for hiding this one here

After deciding on a spontaneous Geocaching trip this morning, I decided on finding some more caches around the middle of Canberra before the event in the late afternoon. I headed straight for a solved puzzle around ‘Lake Burley Griffin’ plus others nearby. Then I headed to the other side of the lake and found a few labs and whatever caches that were nearby. Afterwards, I headed to the parking area of the event and arrived very early at about 3:40pm. The event only started at 5:30pm. So, I decided on finding the nearby Trads and a lab. This added 8 more to the total for today. For the event, of course I was the first to arrive and I after signing the log sheet, I didn’t stay to long as I needed to get back home which is a 2.5 hourish drive. Overall, I made 32 finds today and enjoyed every minute of it. TB visit on all caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. TFTE & TFTC’s!
Having arrived at the event so early, I decided on going for the walk around the area to find the nearby caches which included this one. A nice quick find here and now onto the next one.

#3490 I had been here once before and thought I had checked everywhere. Back today and must have approached from the right angle as cache quickly spotted. TFTC.
It’s Cancon long weekend so that means Finalf29 is war gaming and I’m caching... win win and happiness all round. Thanks to all the CO’s for giving back to the game your efforts are really appreciated.
Anagram????... Nah couldn’t figure it out but had a poke around and still found it. Thanks

Sneaky hide. Took a little linger than expected to find. No room for SWAPS or drops. Cache and logbook are dry. SL TFTC TFTH Replaced cache as found ready for the next cacher. Thanks Minifig Ant.
Great hide. It's no longer in a film container, it's now in an eclipse mint container
Stink stinky stinky ver stinky
Found it in five seconds bag and paper might need to be changed

Had to be a bit sneaky to dodge the nearby humanoid running backwards and forwards. Past logs made this one fairly straightforward.
TFTC!
TFTC!
Found after a while of difficult excavation with a stick. Cache perfect apart from quite full logs, I made space somewhere on the blue. A book next to GZ looks like it didn't survive today's rain so well ( TFTC
It's now a mints container wrapped in black tape? Easy find for the young ones.
