This one was a really quick find for us - we were initially confused as to the FP tally (really? a mint tin?) but then we read the logs.A few moments later led us to where we believe the actual container would have been hidden - Interesting!Hopefully we'll be back to visit Gundagai again soon to check it once it's fully back up and running!
Setting off from Melbourne for Kings birthday long weekend 24, the plan was to head north to escape Melbournes cold. Day 2, after finding a nice spot to camp on the Murumbidgee river, it was time to tick off some caches in the areaNice easy find and first time here in a long time tftc

Canberra Geobash Road Trip 2024. Day Nine: Time to head home, picking up one or twenty caches along the way that we didnt have time for on the way up. This time it was my turn for a DNF redemption. Thankfully I was here with RoamingHowie who had found this cache on a previous trip, and was able to guide me towards the sneaky hidey spot. Something special or unusual goes here:Anymules had this one quickly in hand. The Generic Bit:The Capital Geobash Adventure 2024. Day 3: Wagga Wagga to Bowning. After spending the morning caching around in Wagga Wagga we had a bite to eat and headed east once again. As usual we followed the unfound boxes until it became a dash to our overnight digs....again. Once settled we went into Yass for a feed, some labs and a couple of caches as we toured about.***Thanks The Farmers 5 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
A nice quick find before checking out the doggy. I found your D2.0/T1.5 Micro Traditional called Bill the Bullocky on 25 March 2024. It was find #18821 for me. Thank you The Farmers 5 for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of New South Wales.
Thankfully this one took me only a few minutes to find. I've been past the Dog on the Tuckerbox a million times and I used to sing songs about it, and now I've stopped for a photo. I'm surprised there's no virtual here.
Caching from WA west coast to ACT for 2 megas. TFTC. Nice quick find. Lots of works going on here so hard to access.
One of two to find here. I saw the sign for the Dog on my way down to Wagga Wagga two days ago and realised I'm not sure I've ever visited. So on my return journey today I had to stop in. Nothing looks particularly familiar, it looks like many a tourist trap that I visited as a child 30 years ago, but I still don't know if I've been here before. Lovely spot, if a little run down now.I took over 10 minutes to find this as there were muggles nearby and in trying to not be too suspicious I didn't try hard enough in the first places I looked. Eventually they moved on and I found it on the second pass. That's odd, that koala is very familiar. We have an identical one in Appin!
1st for the morning. Lots of works going on but all good for the cache. Thanks Farmers 5 hope we will see you again.Off to Sydney to wait for grandbaby 4 and visit number 3.
This took way longer to find than Id like to admit; Im a little out of practice. But with determination it was found. Great hiding spot! TFTC!
Havent been to see the dog in many years. Glad Im here again. Found first place I looked.
I used to come here all the time as a kid, driving the melbourne-Canberra route to visit grandparents. Then I would drive as a young adult to visit friends and family. Its been many years since Ive done this drive and Im loving visiting all the old places. The submarine too. But this is my fave. Aussie folklore at its best
Great cache, well hidden, in a beautiful surrounding. The koala was watching us. TFTC
Time for Mr. Lazy aka JTreeTrack2 to catch up on some logs. Sorry to the cache owners for the lag. I have enjoyed finding every cache I have found and appreciate all the effort that has gone in to placing and maintaining the caches. Hopefully I will find more caches and give a more timely and personalized logThanks again for placing the cache.
tftc. Great find and a beautiful rest stop. Might need to go get a koala cuddle
Quick rest stop for a toilet break and the 8yo found this in no time. Super clever! Thank you!
On our way back to Brisbane from Melbourne, we decided to stretch ourselves a bit and visit the Dog on the Tucker Box & the Big Koala. I must say I do enjoy these Aussie Big Things as they definitely made our road trip more enjoyable - also often theres a cache nearby! While geo-parents are busy taking photos with the Big Koala, I made my way to look for this cache, noticed something strange and YAY!!Thank you the Farmers 5 for the great hide and the story of Bill the Bullocky:)
TFTC It was an awesome experience. * dronnord * ...\*""*.,,.*"",..,*"",..\ from Canada eh!

A really quick and easy find Super glad to have been able to stop the truck here and make a Christmas find thank you so much to the hider you've done a great job hiding and plain sight
Stopped here to have dinner at Olivers and grab this cache while on a roadtrip to visit family for Christmas. A nice piece of history, and I also took some goofy pictures with the koala! Logbook signed as Engel, it was nice to be the first to sign a new, fresh log. TFTC!
