Day 3 of my trip. Staying the night in Gundagai. Got here early enough to have a pedal around and collect some caches. I think I have been here before, but it was very busy. Nice and quiet today made for easy find. added a new log as it was full.
Thanks to Farmers 5 for setting up this cache. After a very relaxing large flat white at the spectacular Niagara Cafe, it was an opportunity to nab this cache while others wondered! After a distraction or three , GZ came into view and Captain Moonlight's log was soon in hand!. Thankyou for another fun hide on a second geocaching visit to town since 2014 the last time!CheersMajuraHathi
We stopped for a cup of coffee in Gundagai on our way up north. The cache was a very easy find. Thanks for the cache.
It's been a long road to Gundagai. Interesting but beautiful old building. A dead possum nearby was not smelling very pleasant.TFTC
Heading up to Canberra and decided to stop for refreshments in Gundagai and a quick walk up the hill, which turned into two after I'd realised I'd forgotten my pen.
Found it, great find. It was fun to learn about the history of Captain Moonlite!
TFTC. What a lovely town with a rich history. At first we were thinking it may have been pruned off with the recent prune. But then Found it in good condition.
Heading back to ACT after a 3 week trip deep into SA as far as the flinders ranges. Roads are steep here in town, this one was no exception. In a few months time this might be slightly harder to find. Tftc
Im taking a trip down to Victoria and couldnt pass up the opportunity to pick up some caches along the way. Im staying overnight in Gundagai and with enough light left i decided to go for a walk around town to find a few. After locating this cache i ended up having a nice chat with another traveller who was staying over night in Gundagai. I ended up showing her the container and telling her about geocaching as well. Thanks. #1797
On a beautiful winter day driving from Wodonga to Sydney stopping for a few quiches on the way to visit my dad. Thought Id stop in Gundagai as its been a long time since Ive actually been through here. The last time I came into Gundagai itself my eldest Geo daughter who is now 20 was two years old.TFTC
Well done, very well cammoed, such that I thought my gps might be out.Cache is in good condition. Thanks
Stopped in at Gundagai for provisions on the way to Sydney for the night. Quick find. Pity we didn't have more time to have a good look around the town. TFTC
Found on our way from CBR to Geelong Funny enough we run into fellow cacher QueenK8 How small is Australia?
Driving from Canberra to Melbourne, I parked a couple of streets away so that I could stretch my legs as I walked to grab this. As I approach GZ, it can be no coincidence that two people are getting something from the tree that I was walking towards, pulling out a scroll of paper, and writing on it! I call out, You could put my name on it too! They look up surprised, and we all laugh about the chances Baristayan writes my name in the log (Im embarrassed that she remembers my name though I dont recall theirs). We talk about our destinations then part ways. Thanks for the cache, The Farmers 5! Photo taken not too far away; I take one and send it to my kids every time I drive this way??
A couple of nights in South Gundagai to enjoy the town, scenery and serenity, and of course caching. TFTC
We walked up and couldnt find the cache on the buildings, but then followed the GPS down the hill a bit and found it.Thanks!
Departed Canberra today after a week-long stay for the Capital Geobash. Found on the way back home to Melbourne (via a stopover in Beechworth tonight).TFTC

Driven past Gundagai many times never had reason to stop. Today we decided to go into the township and have a look around before getting lunch. *The generic bit* On our way to the GeoBash Mega in Canberra. We started geocaching just before the Easter Mega event in Rutherglen last year and will celebrate our 1000th find at this Mega.
