Sadly, some lovely muggle has taken this so will archive and look around for a new one

Just did some late night searching with a flash light, eventually found cache open & 15M from where the GPS took me and a few people who joined me in my efforts, I placed cache back where I found it, I will message 'The Cain Clan' with the current location.
Found this one on 14.02.14. Down hill about 12 mers from GZ. Was in good order when found. My partner covered it with sticks so should be easy to find.tftc
Cache was very full and very wet. Have removed some of the contents and placed outside the box to make sure the lid shut properly.
Log is saturated.
Would recommend that CO replaces cache container with a better more watertight box and a new log.
Tftc. - Adding a needs maintenance flag.

Found after reading logs - kids really enjoyed the find! Beautiful day after bad weather! Log book impossible to write in - too wet!
It was one of the rare weekends when my wife had a day off, so we decided to go for a Sunday drive from New Plymouth to Whanganui for a spot of caching. We got in just on lunchtime, and while nibbling our toasted sandwiches saw that there was about 10 caches less than a km from where we were.
This being the nearest we headed here first, and after reading the hints and logs soon had it, or I did anyway. My wife had been ignoring the hiding place as she thought it was too obvious.
The log was damp but signable, but could definitely do with a drying out. Thanks for the cache.

I'm glad I read the logs before venturing higher. A quick find in between muggles passing. Log book was damp so I couldn't get the pen to work. Had to sort of scratch my name on. TFTC!
Nice walk around the lake... Quite a few people around including kids who's appeared to be doing their cross country... Which made things a bit tricky... But got it signed and returned in between muggles
finally found this one - had 30 mins to kill and took Mr Harries up to help - we had no sooner got to GZ and he had it in his hands (i had bee a couple of times to look, first time i was way up on the bank (scary), got some advice (didnt need to go up bank) and i still must have had y man eyes on)

Arrived just on dusk at the nearby parking area, by the time I had got to GZ it was dark, ended up searching by cell phone light, eventually found it.
Met up with another team and worked together. Cache need some maintenance. Tftc!
Hunted around for a while as we ate our ice creams then read past logs and came up trumps Call us blonde but we have now figured out what a geotrail is lol! TFTC

An early morning start and this is the first for the day. GPS had me going up the messy bank but this turned out to be unnecessary. It was much easier than that. Log is very damp but we could write on it with our special pen. Picked up "Squidman" travel bug but the other one listed was not there. TFTC

Had to search a couple of possible locations before we found the cache. Logbook was a little damp. TFTC.
A nice stroll around the lake with a friend who is new to caching. Dropped off a tractable
Quit stop on the way to Wellington to visit this nice park.
That was a quick found!!

2nd try, I dont think the GPS liked the trees, but found today. The log book was rather damp. Thankyou, a cache in a pretty place.
Went for a quick walk here this afternoon - found the cache almost instantly, thanks in part to a distinct geotrail leading to it. A very nice area. Signed log, TFTC.
Gps wouldnt work very well clue was terrible. Tried our best to find.bit had to give up before.we baked to death such a hot day!
I took the high road while the others waited at the bottom. A quick find, and recovered fully before leaving. TFTC !
Mum and Dad went after this while kids went round the lower track with Muggle grandparents. Dad found the cache and they caught up to the rest of the family quickly.
This was my second attempt at this cache. In my first attempt the co ords took me further up the hill and after a good search I came up empty handed. After reading some logs I realised my first search was nowhere near the cache and I needed to go down the hill a bit. I was prepared to spend some time searching (as a lot of geocaches have spent some time searching for this one) but to my surprise the second place I looked I found it. I guess it helped that the cache was sitting out in full view . After signing the log I covered it so it wasn't so exposed.
I would like to repeat the nugget of gold drjekell mentioned further doiwn in the logs:
Hint: if you can see an orange park bench & houses you are up too high.
The hint to this cache is useless and this is a faaar better hint.

Searched for some time, but then finally got it.
Found it on my trip to New Zealand. Thanks to all the Owners for showing me this beautiful places!

#3456. Took a bit of searching. Couldn't find it in the first spot looked at. Went with the GPS, but the terrain would put it beyond the terrain rating. Searched there anyway but no joy. Eventually found near the first spot looked at ... about 11 metres away from GZ according to the GPS. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Took a friend up to show them caching but unfortunately it looks as though this area has been cleared out. You may want to pop up and have a look.
Stopped at the cafe for food and knocked off the top track.took the ceo coin TFTC
Found by Mr and Mrs Orsome4some on our way back home from a trip up to Stratford for an aunt and uncle's Golden Wedding anniversary.
Stopped for a coffee and decided to give this a go. Had thought it would be a good hike somewhere up above Lake Virginia, but we'd barely finished the coffees before we found it. Pleasant stroll rather than major tramp.

yeah, what Seagnoid said
Thanks to Troodles for the extra hint! ...even if we still had to search for ~20minutes before finding it.
I think this cache is a bit more than a one-star difficulty, but it's definitely not as hard as we made it
Third time lucky!

Okay, this one is just embarrasing. Etherlord hunted for this some time ago and could not find it. He and I ( hunted yesterday, making the mistake of actually going to the cache coords which are about 9m out, and got nowhere. Discovered Troodles had found it so Etherlord got in touch for a hint and we and little miss Etherminion had another stab today. Found it after way too much searching. The actual location was checked three times, and I spent most of my time looking in places I would have hiddden it, much higher difficulty factor. As Mrs Etherlord said, I think I forgot to take my Firewoof glasses off. The cache was way easier to find than we were trying for. Dropped a TB
Had a pleasant time afterward feeding the ducks their breakfast. Man, this is a NICE park!

Etherlord and I spent some time hunting for this amongst all the storm debris and trimmings but no luck [:-(]
my second attempt at this cache, my second DNF
lots of fallen branches at where my GPSr claims is GZ...

It was after 4pm when we arrived, but there were lots of cars in the car park so people were enjoying this beautiful park even as the winters day was drawing to a close.
We had a few navigational difficulties getting to the top track, then the GPSr seemed to want us to get higher. Hint was useless so reread the cache page which helped a little. Greatly relieved when heard the clunk as walking pole connected with plastic.

#3782. We searched quite a long way up the bank, but it turned out to be much closer to the bottom than the top (and not that far off the track). TFTC.
We weren't very optimistic about finding this one in all the fallen storm debris but luck was with us. A lovely park and enjoyed our visit to the wintergarden and the aviary.

NOT found with Toddler Etherlord on a *very* wet New Year's day in Wangas
Searched in the brush and undergrowth for ~30min with no luck. Wet feet and a grumpy pushchair occupant made me call it quits for today... must try again next time I come to Wangas

A pretty quick and easy find with a cachers trial leading right up to the hide.

Found during a coffee stop. Lovely park enjoyed greenhouse Christmas display. TFTC
#50 Took some time wandering up hill and down dale, but GPS was actually pretty spot on. Am still learning about directional issues - went around trying to find exact spot when what I need to do is just get close enough and then put down the GPS. While I was busy trying to get the little triangle just right, Mr RiffRaff had already spotted the cache. Lesson learnt.

What a mission!!! Found the right track OK but GPS way out. Thank god for some of the logs left. Wondered around for about 30 mins before landing on it. A mission but a good cache. TFTC TNLN SL
This was my last cache for the day in Wanganui as I needed to go to my meetings for work after doing this cache, was very wrapped that there was another cache in this lovely reserve again. Have being in though this walkway so many times that once I read the cache page I realised quite quickly where the cache was located. Arriving near GZ was able to follow the caching trail and managed to find the cache in the first spot that I looked as my GPS was bouncing me all over the place I decided to use my caching nous and managed to luckily stumble on to the cache out quite quickly without any major issues. Thank you very much for bringing me to this lovely area again, definitely worth visiting and I will never get tried of visiting places like this, sorry but didn't see any signs of the trackable that is suppose to be in the cache. TFTC TNLNSL (3502)
once we found the "top track" we went straight to it. Took buster the travel bug 5z04g0 TFTC A very nice park.
Bit of a tricky one to find due to the fairly randomn placement. Nice area however.

GPS out. Glad of help from logs regarding which track. While this is certainly a picturesque place, that description doesn't so much apply to the cache area itself. TNLN TFTC
After much searching & frustration I checked my GPSr & saw that it was now pointing further down the hill.
Finally after a quick search at the new GZ the cache was in hand.
Hint: if you can see an orange park bench & houses you are up too high.

Had to think this one out, great hide. Took necklace and left a travel bug. A favourite point from us as i grew up in Wanganui and loved feeding the ducks as a kid.
Found it with edvern back in September 2011. Didn't do geocaching back then, but now after enlightment I would like to log it
Found after an orienteering event at Virginia Lake. Five orienteers came along to see what geocaching is all about and it was good to have the extra searchers. The locals say, yes this is the Top Track, even if there is a higher route. A very pleasant park, and good to have a cache here, thanks. Took Dreamland geocoin.
Was alot of searching before deciding which was the "top track" in the end was an easy find TFTC
Had been and looked once before but bad weather and a wandering |GPS meant that it was a brief and unsuccessful look. Today I called in and had another go only to find that I had deleted it out of the GPS, nevertheless I had a go anyway and followed Rattll's suggestion. Stand back and think like a cacher. Presto there it was, actually quite exposed so covered it well. TFTC
