Thought this would be a straight forward GC but after hunting high and low for 15 minutes decided to give it a miss.
Egginthesky and I were in this area tonight (16 March) and seeing all the DNFs we didn't even bother looking. It has been months since this one was found. Time for some owner attention.
[ : (] with physician81. Sure we had the right place but think it has gone missing or been removed.
A beautiful spot on the river. The hint seemed fairly obvious, however was unable to locate the cache. After 3 consecutive DNFs since arriving in the area, I started to wonder if all of the caches in Burleigh Heads had disappeared (but managed to grab one near Fleay Park this afternoon.).
Visiting from Newcastle, house-sitting in Kingscliff, enjoying the area, quick find, the cache was out in the open, TFTC strapper!!
it was a simple one. once at GZ with the cache eye you can spot it in seconds TFTC Found with The Hair Bear
Found in this lovely little creek side beach. Was very wet which is inevitable really and no geocoin.
I wish that people would log their finds of geocoins and TB's and those others that just seem to steal them... well .........

We have been coming to this area on holidays for over 40 years. It is still as pretty and pristine now as it was then. Spent many happy hours with our 3 kids (now aged 40+) staying at the Tourist Park on other side, plus hours and hours pumping yabbies up the creek at low tide, then fishing in our little tinny, more recently Zodiac inflatable.
A good place for a cache hide, all contents in dry condition. Signed Log, Took Nothing Left Nothing, TFTC.
Awarding a favourite purely based on our love of the area.

Having travelled with the caravan from Capalaba to Palm Beach and after setting up we decided to do some caches. The scenery was gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed our hunt and finding the cache.
Thanks to strapper.
Thanks to strapper.

This popped up on the radar when I was doing a nearby puzzle. Nobody about on a lovely weekday morning
That was a weddingparty near by, but everyone was listening to the seaker, so it was no problem to remove the box. Thanks for showing us this place
Once a herd of school kids left in their canoes, had cache in hand and signed. TFTC
46th find of 69 found in during the week of my holidays on the Gold Coast.
Out today to clear the Southern area from accommodation. Well, after a short detour for a certain fish, I was back on the southern aspect mission. Not so sure about this one's recent story, but a signed logbook counts for me.
Thanks for placing this cache, strapper. Found in good condition.
{Overall find #1425}

A quiet late morning stroll across the bridge from the van park brought us to this spot to make the find. Thanks strapper.
Last find before heading to Broadbeach cafe.

Staying on the coast for a couple of days, for some caching, a nice morning stroll to start the day. Thanks strapper.
Found the spot! Unfortunately no cache though. Our teacher Bristracker had a solution though. She created a new one on the spot so we could sign the log and re-hide it. Thanks Bristracker en TFTC strapper.
Out caching with jowiba today when we came upon this empty space. I rummaged around in the geovehicle and came up with a screw top plastic container and supplied a stash note and note pad to act as log. jowiba added a pencil and we have left the new container where I had previously found the cache. We tucked it well up and out of sight. Hope it lasts for a while, or until a new one is needed.
Nice easy find. The water looked gorgeous this morning - lots of people water skiing, kayaking, Thing boarding (where you stand up on it).
The cache is in good condition. TFTC.

Despite a whole family of muggles adjacent to GZ we managed to retrieve and replace without their noticing. Left a small toy. TFTC
Back down south today so I planned my available time and this one was second.
I had a stupid mishap walking into the driveway barrier within 20 metres of leaving my car on the way to my first for today. Didn't fall over didn't scrape my shins just one very very painful strained muscle.
I was grateful that I didn't have so far to walk for this one as I was still hobbling along determined to still make a good time out of a bad start.
Nice quick find.
Thanks strapper TFTC TNLS SL TB & Geocoin BOTH MISSING!!!

Out with CoCo88 for an afternoons caching. Just waited for a boat to be launched before retrieving the cache. Thanks for taking us to this pretty area.
Had intended to find this cache a few weeks ago but it was such a busy weekend I walked away. Today was wet and windy and had the place to ourselves. Soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks
Thanks
This cache formed a part of my shotgun trip to Queensland. At the last minute I got asked to come to Queensland to do some work. So I made the most of it and bagged myself 100 odd caches while in the state. First grabbed a few caches in Roma before flying into Brisbane Airport where I hired a car at around 1PM. I then cached most the time till I caught a plane the next afternoon from the Gold Coast to Victoria. At one stage I took a power nap in the back of the car for about an hour to recharge when I was feeling a bit flat. Beside that it was not till I got on the plane did I have a chance to sleep. There was very little sleep had. When I got back to Victoria I made sure I grabbed one last cache so I ended up getting a cache in 3 Australia states in one day.
Out for a couple of caches on a very hot afternoon. We came here to find this cache and found a wonderful location, scenic views and lots of kids having fun. Thanks for bringing us here strapper. Oh, and we found the cache too. Nice hide. Lid was getting pretty gritty so we did what we could to clean out the grooves. Signed the log and reluctantly returned to the car. Would have liked to have stayed for a swim.
Decided to drop off a trackable I've had long enough. Bye bye little Putt-Bang.
Nice quick find during an early morning walk.
Had to out wait a council muggle to replace the cache. Left a tb here.
Tftc it's in great condition

There was lots of activity out on the water. It is great to see so many people out making the most of the beautiful weather and this lovely location. Thanks for the cache.

Nice quick find on my way home up north.

Someone has decided to remove the cache from it's place. I will get a new one there soon. Strapper
Got to GZ and a couplke were giving their dog a watery workout nearby. But I was able to grab the cache and sign log without them noticing. Lovely area. TFTC strapper.
We were here last week but to many mugglers around. Deserted today so were able to find cache.
Great spot. Had just retrieved the cache, signed the log and ready to return it when not one but 4 boats turned up to reload on trailers. Waited while they fluffed around and decided to go and look for Mystery Island (with the cache still in hand!) Came back after an aborted attempt at that one and a bridal party turned up!! Oh no, not the wedding photos right here?? Luckily for us they were just waiting for a boat to take them to the actual wedding further down the creek. Got the cache back in no time! TN left a dove charm. Thanks strapper.

A beautiful day for caching. The roadworks must have been keeping all the muggle traffic at bay. TNLN TFTC
A lovely spot with Mount Warning in the distance. There were a few muggles around near GZ but they were all busy messing about on boats. We both sat down to admire the view and Mr. Herbz surreptitiously retrieved the cache. The log was quickly signed and replaced. TFTC.
Nice easy find at a lovely spot, just what we needed after a couple of multi's which had taken a lot of our time.TFTC.strapper.
Easy find. Had to wait for the council worker to finish his phone call and depart. Swapped thailand elephant for Bakugan. Disappointed to see that the geoswag geocoin was not there. Seems to be happening quite a bit around the caches of the gold coast. Don't know whether someone is stealing them or whether people just don't know how to log them?! TFTC. Lovely spot.
Dropped the wife off to do some shopping, and i would do some caching for a few hours

Came down with Ms Wig especially to check out "Mystery Island"... but the tide was all wrong, so instead went round to find this cache, then had an enjoyable lunch here looking at the views.
Great spot, thanks strapper.

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Found it easy enough, nice little cryptic clue! Left a plastic bull in place of a plastic shark, fair swap?
Ah our first encounter coming across other geocachers. Nice to meet Cloudglider and chat. Kanga travelled well and is now adjusting to cold snowy temperatures and will be back out and about shortly.
We were amused for quite a long time watching a couple of young blokes trying to reverse their tinnie down the boat ramp and then the antics to get the boat off the trailer. I think their little dog knew more about it. Anyway, while watching all this we had visually located the cache and waited until they parked their Suzuki and sailed off. Then into it, SL and met with a geocaching couple from NZ who were also after this cache. Nice to have a chat with them and was able to drop off a couple of TBs. Thanks for the cache here. cloudglider
BurleighPirates Rule. Great find after our friends 'dahorde'. Swapped Bakugan for Bakugan, & London pin for Melbourne pin
Found quite quickly but had to sit around for about 15mins waiting for muggles to move on. Took Geo Coin and left Shark
