This morning I jogged along this trail from Turners Beach and then after a big rest I headed back to Turners Beach and collected as many of the caches as i could. Sadly 2 eluded me, I think I have an inkling where both are hidden but neither were spots suitable for checking today. Really enjoyed the jog/walk I am not sure if I am getting any fitter but nevertheless feel the exercise must be doing me some good. Other than the 2 dnfs the rest of this series were found quickly with no issues. Many thanks to 2ystassies for the series . TFTC
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Out enjoying this path and this one blended in well but found after a short search. Thanks 2y'stassies for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Out and about chasing ALs and some caches with a few favourite points or caches close to AL WPs.
Another nice easy walk and the path was quite busy. A quick find and all good with the container and log book.

After a tasty lunch with some good company, it was time to jump on my bike and try and work some of my lunch off
A very nice track to cycle along, at a steady pace, admiring the scenery and finding some caches.

RoadieM and I are enjoying a great few days away, with geocaching on our minds. As we had a park and drive day yesterday on our way to the coast, we decided we would stretch the legs today and do the walk from Turners Beach to Ulverstone, finding caches along the way.
This walk is lovely so far ... a nice mix of clearings, shrubbery, some dams and what looks like a new vineyard on the other side. Searched for a little while here until RoadieM made the find looking at right angle. Once again, thanks 2y'stassies.

tassietan and I have planned a caching getaway together for some time. We decided to go further afield and after looking around we were drawn to the north coast and the myriad of caches in the area. Having had a long day of driving yesterday we decided to tackle some caches involving a walk and started on this series from the Turners Beach end where we are staying.
This type of cache hide is our collective nemesis..we always have a lot of trouble finding these. However, it wasn't too long and we located it and had it signed and returned without much activity on the well used pathway.
Thanks 2y'stassies for the cache and the lovely walk.

Thank you so much for the replacement cache, we called in today to grab this one after Mr 10’s basketball game. Was beautifully camouflaged and took us a couple of minutes to find. TFTC

Thanks AnnaGJW for letting us know that a tall tree had snapped in the recent strong winds and had fallen directly over the cache. We are confident that the cache is still there but without access to a chain saw and lifting gear, we cannot get to retrieve it.
So we have replaced the cache about 60m away so that the replacement is well away from any work that will be done to remediate the area. The coordinates have been updated. Cache size and the hint remain unchanged.

Thanks for this series of caches 2y's tassies.
RLD4963, the two GeoGSP's and I are spending a few days in the northwest. We decided to do this track with myself walking the dogs, and RLD4963 on his e-scooter (which is easier on his knees).
This one was spotted fairly quickly (for a hanger), so glad to add this to our list of finds.

Out and about caching with all the Rafas for our holidays TFTC TNLN log dry, a trial run with a scooter saw this an easy task to get to.
Managed to find without the compass as phone was being fixed. Slightly damp as had been raining last few days, able to sign.Thank you for this series TFTC
Found it yah. The cable tie has broken and the log is a bit wet but easily signed. Dried it out and put it back where I found it. Tftc.
This one needs some maintenance. We found it in the leaf litter. We popped it back where we believe it was meant to be but didn't have a cable tie to fix probably.
Found on the 5/11/20, couldn’t log these ones because i didn’t have Premium. Tftc
Headed out on the bike to pick up some puzzle caches I had solved around Forth. Got distracted by this series and some others along either side of the river so never made it to the puzzles - but they will be there for another day.
Well disguised and took a bit of searching. Once I settled on the right approach, I had the find after a bit of a hunt

Thank you for the cache from GeoMaggie and her sidekick Bonnie. I wanted to find this one for ages thank you
Tonight DEZ055 and i decided to take the geodog for a walk along the Ulverstone to Turners Beach walking path, we managed to find most of them. the only ones we didn't locate was 1 & 6 because for some reason they weren't in our GPS, but that gives us an excuse to come back and walk the path again.
This one took a little bit to locate, but after looking around it was quickly located. Clever way to cammo the cache into its surroundings. TFTC

Thanks icybeestas for alerting us to the wet logbook. The cache has been dried out and the logbook replaced.
My GPS was working well and led me straight to this to make a quick find. This was the last find for the Series except for No 5.
My geocaching mojo may have left me over the COVID-19 lock-down.
No luck with this one today.
Thanks for the cache.

Took a bit of finding this one. The GPS was absolutely no use under the trees. Eventually all was revealed. Like the camo on the container.

Checked on this cache this morning and it is still in place waiting to be found.
A ride out this morning to clean up some missed caches along the bike path, and log the solved puzzle caches a bit futher east. Logging six for the day, and moving a trackable which has travelled nearly 32,000 miles so far. Finally got back to have another go at this one which was previously missing. Thanks for all these caches 2y'stassies.
8 caches from this trip. 7 from the Ulverstone to Turner's beach series and a giant trackable hotel. It was a rainy day today so I had my raincoat on while riding my bike.
As I got near gz I was thinking it would take at least an hour to find this cache. I found it straight away!!! The cache was camoflauged really well but yet easy to find! TFTC!

Took the bikes over this way for a bit of a geo-splurge today. Easterly wind made it a chilly ride to the "Berry Patch" for a coffee hit ! We're with TerraTeamTas ......... we din't find either ! Looks like there have been a few broken branches in recent times , which might possibly have taken the hanger down with them ? ? Will try again another day. TFTC
Thanks rhubarbraod for the info. We checked this afternoon and the tree in which the cache was hidden is certainly in poor shape and teh cache appears to have gone with one of the broken branches. We will replace nearby later in teh week.
Must be suffering from cache blindness today. With 3 sets of eyes we still couldn’t find it. The compass was swinging a bit so not 100% sure we were in the right spot.
Just as we are about to leave eldest geokid spotted it on the ground. We hung it close to where we thought it had been attached to the tree. Container had water in it but we were able to write our names.

Our last day in northern Tassie we cached along the coast east from Goat Island to Don. We found a great variety of caches, learnt about the history of the area and enjoyed the brilliant coastal views while managing to dodge the showers, working out how many caches within dry riding distance from a couple of parking spots. Neat cammo!
Thanks to '2y'stassies' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

Today we were on the road and visited this beautiful series of caches. We always found interesting hiding places.
Overall, we visited many caches today, so we apologize for the unit log.
Many thanks for bringing and saying say the Moorhelmi's from Germany.

Omg... geowifeE was on her bike. GeoboyB and i had one last look in the abyss. On the way out he spotted it. How did we not see that.
After leaving Devonport for Boxing Day shopping for the day. I decide to walk along the path to the end of Ulverstone to catch up some caches. Very warm day. Found it. Thank 2y'tassies for placing the cache
Tasmania Trip Day 10 - after some very good caching so far it was now time to begin to really enjoy the area so it was off with the bike and the young member of the team was on his own for a few more smilies.
This was a great way to travel on a bike along the coast and see some good hides.
Thanks 2y'stassies for placing this sereis and a great series it was to do. (sorry for cut and paste logs)

Loving all the different containers along the way, definitely helps avoid the obvious hides and monotony of it all.
Onto the next! TFTC

Took a bit because GPS was moving heaps. Got a few scratches looking in the wrong spot until it settled. Great Camo TFTC
After not finding this one the first time we looked it got the better of me and 2 days latter I was back armed with all the information form other peoples finds.
This one is so tricky didn’t find it till I turned around to come back out.

This cache has been on me *annoyance* list for almost a month since a DNF
As I was heading past again today in the geomobile,
I took a detour and strolled the 500 metres from a handy parking spot for another look.
Oooh !! Yummo !!
The blackberries have ripened
A veritable feast of yumminess kept me distracted from actually looking for the cache for a while
Overdosed on *C6H8O6*,
I turned around and almost bumped me head on the cache
CRIKEY !!
That is hard to see !!
Even when you can see it !! [^]

Cruising the bike path it didn't take long for me to be struck cache blind again
I spent some quality time here,
looking and poking for the cache.
Despite two visits today,
I didn't see it
At least I got me daily dose of Vitamin C

Mum and I came out geocaching for the day. We bought the MTB bikes to do the trail and was a nice and easy ride and enjoyed all the finds along with way! It’s a pity that not all of them are along the trail!
Oh no, we thought, not one of those types of caches, we are really hopeless at finding them - admittedly we usually do, but it takes much longer than it should. Today was. To such a bad attempt and we happily logged the find nod continued our backward journey. TFTC
Back home after being in Tassie for a holiday, now the daunting task of logging all our finds, sorting through the scraps of paper with notes on them.
Had a few days of sunshine, a lot of days of rain, ended up with just over 105 finds all up on this trip, and visited many tourist spots in the north of Tassie.
last day in Tassie....
found this cache in good order
no muggles about. Quick find.
thanks to 2y'stassies for this cache

Another nice ride to Turners Beach meant another one of these bike path caches to do. This was perhaps the hardest to find of the series and we're not surprised at the recent DNF logs. It is well camouflaged and it took us two attempts. We just kept looking, moving a little bit then looking some more. About 15mins or so. Dumb luck played a bit of a part as well. Anyway - done and dusted.
