Mr and I are night 3 out of 4 at Wilpena Pound. Today Mr was keen to do the Wowee Track. If you visit this part of the world, have a high clearance 4x4, and the experience, we highly recommend visiting this place/track. Absolutely stunning views and some rocky uphill climbs and down hill rock crawling (and maybe a little bit of sliding at one point ). Definitely needed some low range for some of points. Unfortunately I could not find this cache. I was, and still am disappointed. But the harsh sun (midday at 41 degrees) and the car not wanting to just sit idle for long beat me, and after 5 mins I gave up.
Great place for a cache
Found with The Barramundi's
Woowee is right, a 4x4 track like no other what a fantastic view from up here

Hahaha the laughs are on me I left my bag of goodies at the rock pile and had to do the whole track again to retrieve it, so CNF next cache fossils??? So will replace it for you
A long weekend away with sir_spectre in the Flinders Ranges. We had each been here before and strangely had few double ups so some revisiting was in order to try to get our maps similar. The weather threw everything at us but we just made our plans suit the conditions. Lots of 4WD and walks included.

Day 2 of the trip was over to MERNA MORA station and do the " Bunbinyunna Track " and the " Wowee Track ". I good day to be in the 4x4 as it was 34 degrees. I enjoyed driving around these tracks and placed a couple of caches there myself. We found the cache DISK placed at the listed co ords last month, a mint tin. Added a peanut butter container as a second container on the outside.
Took Mogni for a trip to the Flinders Rangers for the long weekend with extra day either side. The target for the trip was to clear some of the " used to be a church " micro series on the way up and on the back as well, complete a couple of station tracks plus hike to Blinman Pools. We where not expecting a couple of 34 degree days then a 30 km wind dust storm followed by rain over night and then the wilpenda pound walls covered in fog for the next 1/2 a day. It did change our plans a little and the order we did things. All containers we found damaged, broken, cracked were replaced and were possible ( if not soaked ) original log books were kept. Any log books found full were replaced or if room had extra scrolls added in to the cache.

Camped a couple of nights at Merna Mora, so had to drive some tracks and find some caches while here . The track out to Lake Torrens is closed and it may be awhile before it reopens, so this was the next track we wanted to do on our list .
Had a great drive to GZ, but after an extensive search (trying not to get blown away by the wind), only found the preform lid and an IKEA pencil .
Thought it was reasonable to replace this one, so it is now a green Eclipse Mint container with a few sheets of paper [8].
TNLNSL.
Thanks Burton's.

Logged this one way back when by accident. We drove the other track and never got around to this one. Sorry for the Lance Armstrong moment. I'll pay a bit more attention when logging in future.

Today was a trip from Parachilna to Adelaide with the godfather of caching Freddo.
Was able to drive within 200m of the cache and made the walk up to find a cache that wasn’t that hard to find.
On paper this wasn’t the longest I found cache but if you delete a log as they did not sign the log book it would mean we have a 6.5 year unloved cache which is pretty amazing.

In the Flinders for some well needed R&R with Debandy and a bucket load of caching as well.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
After our DNF at the other cairn, we were very happy to find this one, The drive to here was fun, especially coming off the other cairn hills. Auzee left her fingerprints in the Jesus handle . Fantastic scenery .
Found this one no worries, it has been found by muggles as well though. This is a great 4wd track which gives vistas from all angles. highly recommended TFTC Burton's
Fantastic outlook from this high point on the track, and well worth the drive. The property owner, Ken Fels, caught up with me at this location and took some time out to explain some of the history of the area and point out some of the local features. Found cache easily for a *FTF* and coords were spot on. TNLN. Thanks Burton's for the cache.
