Did not realise this cache had so many DNFs. Would CO please check before anyone else tries for this missing cache. Cheers!
We're a bit rusty and gave up on this one. No luck, even with a helpful shout from across the way.
Visited this one today and the cache container has a hole in it, CO please check on this one.
Day number 21 of the 31 Days of Geocaching and this was our second cache on the list to try after a DNF on another cache. A cool start, but not as bad as previous days and at least we had sunlight. After finding a better place to park than we first got, we headed in to grab this. Unfortunately one of the team slipped and wound up a bit worse for wear, but OK after a few minutes. Was able to locate this one and sign the log and took the Silver Dart IV geocoin as well. Will add a maintenance note as the container has a hole in it.
Thanks for the cache Cardz.

Found this morning for our 3rd of the August Challenge. We are now heading down to Melton for a wedding, what we cachers do for a challenge.

Spent the night with friends nearby and had to find a cache before we left Ballarat. This was almost on our track out of town and it was a quick find.
A nice short walk to get us out of the car and a quick find. Thanks for the cache.
A nice straight forward find and then back to the car to get out of the wet weather. Thanks Cardz for the cache.
Pretty easy find. Came to this cache in an unusual way, was just in the bush and came up a logging track, pretty muddy today, and suddenly found myself in suburbia!!
Cheers gordo

There is a large hole in the bottom of the cache container and the log book needs a new plastic bag. Sorry we didn't have any supplies with us today.
Easy find once the muggle walkers past by. We think this the first one of Cardz hides we have found. Just visiting our friends in Ballarat for the weekend and bagging a few more caches before we head home to the north of the State again. SL at 11am TN Left: eagle PT. Cache badly needs some maintenance. TFTC Cardz #1605
Found while killing time as one geo-child attended a birthday party nearby. Thanks
Have ridden past this cache many a time with the two GeoKids. Today we decided to stop off and log our visit. A nice stop on the way back after a long ride.
Thanks for a good place to stop.

Found a lot easier with the grass being cut!
Container needs mantiance though.

Found at 4:50pm with assistance from our two Geograndies whose noses are closer to the ground than ours! Quite a busy little spot today. We added another plastic bag to aid weather protection and left a fearsome looking white rabbit! SL TFTC
A quick find here after we finally found the best place to park. The grass is currently short making this nice and easy.

Was just about give up with this when Bingo!! I'll blame the late hour for my cache blindness!!!
Cache has a hole in it...looks like it might have been damaged by a whipper snipper or slasher. Grass has recently been cut. Has been wet inside but seems to be dry now. Needs checking!
Found today with highrod, St37e and S4 Sammy and TilleyTB.
TfC
Has been wet and is damaged.

Over in Ballarat for a conference so thought I would get a little geocaching in too. Nice easy find after the muggles rode past. Extracted a few snails out of the cache. SL. TFTC.
A quick find today with TheQuantumQuark. It was visible as we walked up so we tucked it back outa sight. Thanks
The Coffee's picked this one up today with Team Crackers and Alansee.
Thanks for the cache Cardz

Found with the Coffees and Team Crackers after the event. Mrs Crackers quickly saw what the rest of us were blind to.

Found in conjunction with Suss Vulture. Adjacent to the GSAK Event location, it was steady rain while this cache hunt was on, but Volkner quickly found it and just as well, because then the heavy rain arrived.

We headed off early this morning to Ballarat to attend the GSAK workshop with the hope of grabbing quite a few caches as well. The closer we got to Ballarat the colder and worse the weather looked and we don't think that the rain let up once through the entire event which fortunately was indoors. After the event we teamed up with alansee and the Coffee's and even though the weather had deteriorated even further as we were here now we would try to grab a few caches before heading home. As this one was directly opposite the event naturally it was the first one to try and as it turned out our driest walk for the day as the rain eased a little. The whole area was extremely soggy and just as we were about to venture somewhere we didn't want to be Diane spotted the cache and happily we signed our names in the log and were back to the car before the next down pour.
Our thanks to Cardz for placing this cache

Nice easy find.Lid of the cache is pretty easy to spot. Had to cover it up a little... Thanka for the hide. Left a dice
Picked this one up with bogonghazy after a long days caching south of Ballarat. We were headed for home and Fish'N'Chips when this one cropped up on the Oregon. Naturally we had to park on the "wrong" side, so a giant leap was required, cache was soon in hand and logged. Thanks to cardz.
Approached from the wrong side of the creek here, and made a slightly successful leap over the thinnest part I could find. Which means only one foot got wet.
Thanks Cardz for placing this one, another smiley for Sully1 and I after a long day

our four year old charlie felt so proud finding this, while the rest of us were still scratching our head.
Nice easy cache on a cold, blustery easter Monday. Great path that led us to a playground! TFTC.
After being in Ballarat two weeks ago it was back today with the suscoe team to add a few more smiley's to my tally. Our aim was to find a few mysteries and others as we passed by.Wandered down the walking track with suscoe and the damaged container was soon in hand log signed and we were off to the next. I guess the only reason that the log is not wet is its hiding position. Thanks Cardz Rat Run1.
Night 1 of our Ballarat Smackdown weekend with DazRascal, Blacklegend, Quasar3671 & Trailrunning which seen us collecting a great range of caches over 3 days, and this was one of them.
Was a bit of a walk from where we parked the convoy, but we enjoyed the stroll in under torchlight, until we started to freeze, so we sent Trailrunning off to do what he does best...run! LOL. And he grabbed the cache!
Many thanks Cardz for bringing us here! TNLN SL. Cheers.

One of 184 cache finds during our "Ballarat Smackdown" weekend of caching on the 23rd to 25th. There were 13 of us including Blacklegend and three of his kids, Trailrunning, Haveanez and their two boys, Dazrascal and myself amd my two boys Tyler and Cooper. We'd spent a few weeks planning the trip, with every Ballarat Puzzle solved in the area, cache lists and road and route maps all ready to go. We stayed in the Miners Retreat Motel for the two nights and the accomodation and facilities were great. Our goal was simple - find as many caches as possible in the time we were here !
We found a great variety of caches and hides during the three days, which also involved a bit of walking and some 4WD fun as well in the state forests north of Ballarat. The weather was quite cold of the Friday and Saturday morning but eventually cleared to nice sunny weather Saturday arvo and Sunday. We all had a great time, especially the kids who did really well to keep up with the pace we were moving.
We all had a good walk under tochlight to GZ, chatting along the way, and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for the hide.

Team “Ballarat Cache Smackdown” was formed for the weekend of 23-25 March with the very intention of going hard at grabbing as many caches in the Ballarat area that was humanly possible in such a short period of time. The puzzles within a 60 km radius of Ballarat were solved, some multi’s as well. 4WD’s were packed with all manner of goodies, maps and run sheets prepared, spare batteries accumulated, UHF radios charged, etc. The team consisted of TrailRunning, Quasar3671, Blacklegend, Haveanez and Dazrascal. Home base was the pleasant Miner’s Retreat Motel at a reasonable rate a night for a cabin sleeping 8 people. After a quick bite to eat for dinner the Smackdown started with 36 caches being found on the first night. This was one of them. A fair walk in from the parking location so I decided to run ahead and grab the cache. Thanks for #12.
One of 182 caches I personally found during our "Ballarat Smackdown" trip. The trip included teams Quasar3671, Trailrunning, Haveanez, Dazrascal and myself. Caches included around 30 mystery caches, a few earth caches, lots of trads and multis and both day and night caching. Some 4WD action was encountered as well, which was great. All puzzles within 60kms were solved.
I took three of my kids, Jasmine 7yo, James and Jemma 5yo twins, traveling from Tocumwal. The trip covered 3 days and two nights, staying in Ballarat. Quasar3671 took his two boys as did Haveanez. One of the best caching trips I have been on, and certainly lots and lots of finds, almost clearing out the main Ballarat area. Home base was the Miners Retreat motel, which was quite pleasant and quiet.
Found this one on a Friday "night run" after arriving at the accommodation and having a bite to eat. Couple of hundred meter walk in to a quick find. TFTC.

A couple of elderly muggles taking their wheely frames for a stroll stopped for a rest right at GZ so I had to stroll past to a nearby bench and wait for them to wander off. Once they left it was back to GZ for a quick find and log. Thanks Cardz for the cache.
Found it after a short look. You do not need to get wet feet ... Took the little fish and left a stamp. Thank you (:
Nice walking track - I nearly got wet feet looking for the cache but there was no need. Thanks Cardz
Suscoe made a quick find here.
Late afternoon on our way home.

Found by Mary & David at 1145. A few walkers, doggers and joggers out and about, but we went undisturbed at GZ for more than enough time. Made it too hard at first, but soon back on target. We remember coming here ages ago before the houses came down the hill. Our thanks to Cardz.
4th Cache! Cache hunting with friends and family Hidden nicely, try not to get wet! Left nemo to go for a swim =D Keep Caching!
Went on a short caching spree with Dana-Paul, this was the first stop. Dana walked a little too far but found this one fairly easily.
A nice walk along the path to GZ before finding the cache. I couldn't tell if anyone was watching from the windows of the houses, but there was no activity in any of the front yards.
The cache had a little water in it, so we dried it out - the log is being kept safely dry by the ziplock bag. Thanks Cardz for the cache.

Only a few brave souls on the path today and large enough gaps to not be a bother. The container is a little wet but the log book is still fine. TFTC Cardz
The first ever International Geocaching Day is today. We went outside and geocached! Thanks for the find, we will receive the International Geocaching Day souvenir. Cheers TFTC
After reading the last log by 3up I can report that winter has well and truly returned with a vengeance.
It was drizzling, wet underfoot and extremely foggy this morning.
Nice conditions for avoiding muggles though.

It was dark but not cool as today was 22, the warmest August 3rd since records began, a perfect night for a walk and cache. It's still 19 degrees now.
Thankz Cardz

We got this as it was starting to get dark and a bit chilly. Just before the event. We found this fairly easily. Thanks for the hide.
Nice easy find on a cold winters day. Cache had a bit of water in it but the zip lock container kept the logbook nice and dry.

Another brisk walk for a quick find this time.
Thanks Cardz, looking forward to more from you!
Thanks Cardz, looking forward to more from you!
A pretty easy one to grab, even in the dark, just that I had to park in the right spot, which wasn't necessarily the closest spot. There was a cache quite close to here a year ago, it's been archived as the suburb began to build up.
Good hide. Nice and dry well hidden under vegetation but easily accessible. left a 10c coin.
Ducked out to grab this one today as it was a lovely day. Don't know how I missed that this one was around. A nice little walk and easy find. Thanks for the hide.
Had us fooled for a while, but found easy once we looked in the right spot!
great hide.
great hide.
Found this one on our Ballarat three day caching blitz with Purpledreamer.
Nice quick find with no muggles about today.
Many thanks for the cache.
