The site is now being developed into a block of units. Thanks for all the fun, but time to say goodbye.
For the owner: I was informed by the people on-site that the area will be closed off at the end of January and they asked me to tell you to remove the container before that day if you wanted to rescue it.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Quick find while trying to be not be the too obvious guy who doesn't belong here. Please read the note I posted earlier today.
Last ditch effort to hit 600 by New Years. Got to GZ and found myself in a graveyard- this doesn’t look like a community garden! Found the garden next door and had CIH after O spotted something alarming. Cache# 593 TFTC
Found this afternoon after making a delivery to Chatswood. TFTC I walked throughout the cemetery from where I parked and stop to read some of the ancient head stones on my way back. Amazing
TFTC, quick find in the nice little community vege garden in Sydney Suburbia.
At last. Probably the closest I found cache to home. Previous visits it was too busy. Great cache. SL TNLN TFTC
What a fantastic place! I took my time wandering around the garden, taking photos checking out the compost and the chickens. Got taken by surprise when the sprinkler went off! Thankfully it’s a warm day! Dropped a TB here. Absolutely a great cache! TFTC!
I was very happy to visit this community garden, but very sad that the land has been sold to developers, so the garden has to close or move. TFTC theladmores
Ummm in a quirky garden?? .. reckon I can see it but it's dark and I feel very weird now so leaving. Shore leave ends on a DNF which is a shame.....
This was the sixth and last of my afternoon, after work, caching expedition. I did the infamous 'Lane Cove' this morning before work, now just some good old regular trads on the fringe of suburbia. This one was in a really pretty, but quirky community garden. I admit my GPS was wandering a bit so took me longer than it should have, but found it I did.
Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. Quick find today TFTC.
Love this little community garden. Enter from east side or take your chances with the hidden motion detector sprinkler system. Got soaked but laughed out loud. Cache in excellent condition. TFTC.
Found it with a little bit of assistance as was on wrong side of fence. Great community space.
It was absolutely delightful looking at this garden and meeting the chooks! They were nice and friendly and very curious. I originally walked passed the cache location several times but found it in the end. Thanks for the cache and the lovely garden!

Shown permapatch by friends couldn't resist picking up the cache while here picked up a travel bug will log it later
Found while on my lunch break. What a beautiful garden.. and all I had to deal with was some chookles
Very interesting spot, although don't think I expected to find some well hidden muggles resting in the garden. They were harder to spot than the cache! Tftc
Decided to stretch the legs at lunch and go for a walk and to drop off a TB. Entered the garden and found the cache. A lovely spot to sit and relax with all the skinks! TFTC

Friday. On the way to Sydney to visit our daughter. Now that we have arrived, a stop in at some random caches along the way would be in order.
‘Wanna come and find a cache? I asked our daughter’. ‘Not really’ was the reply, but she headed off with us anyway. Upon finding the cache, our daughter was amazed that this lovely community garden was so close by. ‘Must check this out again’ came the next comment. Turns out one of the people who tends the garden knows of the cache’s existence and was happy for us to go caching in their patch of land.
This was the only cache found on today's trip.
Thanks ***theladmores***, for showing us this place.

Nice and easy find was a little bit skeptical about going in but my 7 year old bro charged in ahead of me and that was that. In good condition. TFTC
I was reluctant to go past the gate, but the gps was adamant so I slipped the latch and stepped inside feeling a touch uneasy.
Fortunately the cache was in the very first place I looked and after clearing the build up of cobwebs I signed the log and replaced the cache.

Cache Condition: Perfect condition!
Well, this was a great little hide, find and cache.
I arrived at GZ and just didn't want to go into the garden.
The GPS was taking me there, then it wasn't, then it was.
In the end I read the hint but was still reluctant.
Eventually I went in and found something out of place, opened it and there was the cache.
There was a nice lady gardening at the time who exclaims 'you found it!'
I thought she was a cacher but alas, no, she just knew of the cache.
Honestly, thank you for bringing us here!

Just moved to the area and a spot of caching is a perfect way to explore the new surroundings. TFTC
Found it and a rampant bush turkey... in pouring rain. Nice area!!!!. Thank you.
Came in the other direction and fortunately noticed they have a sprinkler that goes sporadically. No one here so had fun looking around and looked to hard as cache so convenient enjoyed the wild turkeys and graves next door as well TFTC
Walk past this geocache when looking and didn't think it would be there. Took me a while but I got it in the end. Happy birthday dad.
Cluey Suey & 12 yr old Thomas found it today. Yay!!! Love community gardens. Thanks for bringing us here.
I dropped by today. I am very confident I know where it is, but it was way too busy to retrieve.
There are times when this one is just ...well....Sunday arvo with gardeners about. Nope, just don't feel like explaining geocaching
for the hundredth time to the great unwashed.
for the hundredth time to the great unwashed.
Area seems to goon to be redeveloped. Tried for twenty minutes and couldn't find.
Excellent community garden which my wife will be excited to hear about! TFTC and thanks for the neighbourhood watch
This is one of the best community gardens we have visited. Thank you for showing us around and TFTC
I love community gardens like this and this one appears to be a great success

A friend brought me here today to look at the garden and the new repair cafe. Was very excited to find a cache here too! Thanks for the lovely visit. The garden is just life giving!
Nice and easy find, lovely to look around the gardens and to say hello to the chooks. TFTC!
Found with hubby. Not easy as big garden. Logged comments helped. Close to wire gate. Lovely garden.
Last cache on my Chatswood spree this sunny afternoon. I first checked the wrong carpark entirely and walked over to the right spot using a photo I had taken from google images. Looked about right but....there was a gate in my way! I stood around awkwardly for some time, wondering if I was allowed to enter. There was a gardener milling about doing some work, but took no notice of me. Eventually, I slowly crept in, checked the first place I thought, bingo! Signed quickly, looked around, no sign of the gardener, replaced and made a dash outta there! TFTC
Met a lovely woman who was very interested in learning about geocaching. She was going to look into it for her next trip to Taiwan. TFTC
A lovely big garden to across,
Even on a cold wet night.
It was an easy find us,
But glad we had some light!

Found with nessaboop but had a flat battery so wasn't able to log online until now. What a fantastic garden! We had a bit of a squiz around in the dark but got frightened off by an animal that clearly also appreciated all your hard work Will have to come back in the daylight to admire it better some time. TFTC!
Found our first GC, such fun. Put in a $5 off voucher in for sealife centre or other attractions, enjoy - valid until 31/12/16.
Stopped off on the way home from work to have a look for this one. Parked the geomobile in Sharland Avenue and then walked up over Mowbray Road, and down through the pathway to arrive at the "back door" of the PermaPatch Community Gardens.
The gardens were completely deserted today, probably because a big storm was on it's way and there was already spits of rain falling. Headed past the scarecrows, and the painted caravan, to arrive at GZ. A quick inspection, of the most obvious potential hiding spot, resulted in CIH. Signed the log book and dropped off a geocoin that we had picked up near the glow worm tunnels, North of Lithgow, during the October school holidays.
Wandered around the gardens for a few more minutes before the rain started to get heavier and I had to make a dash for the car. And no sooner had I made it back to the car when the heavens opened and torrential rain was falling. Well at least the gardens were going to get a good watering this afternoon, hopefully not TOO good.
Thanks theladmores for bringing me to these very nice community gardens, and for the cache. Worthy of a Favorite point.

There is an Expression of Interest open at the moment to potentially sell of the church land and develop a new residential complex... http://j.mp/1RLFDzH
Something to keep an eye on because the cache may disappear if it's included in the zoned area.

The garden may move if the land is sold so we will move the cache with the garden at that time.
A great little garden! I had attempted this one once before about a year ago, but after reading the clue, a quick find this time around. The chickens were keeping a watchful eye on this one! TFTC,TNLN, SL, Regards MRG
Cool little place, buzzing with activity when we arrived. Spent time checking out the garden whole we waited for GZ to get a little quieter.
Nice easy find and a nice big container. Took nothing and left a shopkins-themed roll of tape.
We'll come back to feed the chickens!

What a great little place. I'm fairly local and I never knew this was here, or that these kinds of places actually exist. The cache was a quick find and I took some time to have a wonder around and talk the the chooks. TFTC!
I love this. Amazing. I was getting my tyres done down the road and thought while I was this is close enough! And boy I'm glad I did. Thank you for bringing me here. Beautiful!
