### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

G'day there yorkoz,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue.
The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Nope didn't find it or to be more exact I didn't look for it as the grass was far too long to walk through wearing thongs on my footsies. Even if I was wearing shoes or boots I doubt I would've ventured into the long grass *in summer* in case there was nasty slithering browns, especially eastern browns waiting to sink the fangs into my leg. A big "nope" for us today!
Took a stroll with mogni along this trail. Getting some more finds in this LGA. quick find. this is a bit more off the track than the rest. container is broken. there is almost nothing left of the lid.
Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

On a Christmas Holiday with sir_spectre, visiting family in Mount Gambier and then on to Victoria to visit some new places as well as some old haunts.
Thanks to yorkoz from mogni

Omg, what is it with the spiders here? Thousands of spiders in curled up leaves blanketing this whole area….my idea of hell! I found the cache but also dropped my glasses and had to come back later. Can definitely say I considered leaving them there. The cache container lid is very damaged and is no longer waterproof. Also, the cache contents fall out when replacing the hide. Could do with some maintenance.
Tftc yorkoz. In town for a few days for a bit of work. Had a smidgin of time after dinner and b4 nightfall to explore this walking track and hunt some caches. Thankfully it was blowing hard so the mossies had to battle to make a landing.
Quick find and then on to the next. Container is broken, log is damp.

Tftc, hard spot to get to but finally found it. Container has broken lid, is wet inside.
Great location but container lid is broken & all is wet inside. I managed to find a dry bit to sign log. Tftc
Hubby & I approached this one from different sides. He ultimately got the find! Tftc.
A bit of a bush bash to find this one. The lid is broken and needs urgent replacement. TFTC
I had a few kangaroos cheering me on as I searched for this one. Thanks for the cache!
Got my Ebike out today for this trail and made quick finds along the way geez the mozzies attacked me here signed very fast and replaced TFTC
With another reasonable day and the wind not so strong earlier in the day we left after a hearty breakfast in a cafe in Paynesville to do some more caching. Today it was off to Eagle Point and then out on the the Mitchell River Silt Jetties before walking the trail back to Paynesville. (We only walked the trail, having driven the rest).
A good day with a variety of hides, cache types and some great views.
We found this one on the ground with the contents spread around it. The log was still there so we signed it and replaced it along with all the other contents and placed it according to the clue.

Found with tassie expat while exploring this great area. Little bit of tooing and froing with the gps, otherwise a pretty easy find. Thanks for the cache.
A great sized cache. As frmen1 said, a bit of circling with the gps...one app proved to be more accurate than the other. Lots of evidence of wildlife on the ground. TFTC
A nice stroll through the mozzie camping ground to GZ.
Now back on our bikes to the next one.
Thanks for the cache.

Doing the Foreshore walk and trail and this was another one for the afternoon. Thank you.
Making the most of a local cache to fill a gap in my Finds for Each Day of the Year Calendar. Usually walk around the Mitchell River on a Thursday but was able to change it to along the Eagle Point Paynesville walking track to grab this cache. A quick find with the assistance of torches in the fading light.
Thanks yorkoz
Thanks yorkoz
We were looking for a place to enjoy a walk and a few caches today so decided to explore this track. It was a beautiful morning for a walk and enjoy some lovely views before continuing towards home.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
We were having a picnic nearby and decided that we should walk lunch off, this was a very gentle walk on a glorious day.
All the caches were found fairly quickly, so my wife didn't have to wait around long!

Doing the Eagle Point Paynesville series today the others went on as I off set to find this one.
Was a relatively a fast find but I mad the wrong approach at the start that led me on a goat track.
Signed the book cheers.

Found this cache on our walk along the walking path and a little detour and we soon had this cache in hand. A little weedy near GZ, but easily walked through.
A nice easy find if you're contemplating this great walk.
Thanks Yorkoz for the placement here.

So, with me located around 320kms away, I was forced to send my trusty bloodhound and partner in geo-crime out on the hunt for FTF on his own today. A task fraught with potential danger, lol. Manzie has not found many caches on his own, our usual MO is that I work the GPSr and point in the direction of the cache, and manzie finds it, because I invariably suffer from cache blindness. But this time, he was truly on his own. So, with a remote crash course in Cachly and me on the phone as backup technical support, he was off. And it was a successful hunt, he found them all, before returning to find this one on his way back, and yes he reported seeing lots of roos. Thanks for the cache, yorkoz
Bit of a bush bash and I nearly gave up. My daughter was determined and she found it. Tftc
I have replaced the container put a fresh logbook in with a pencil so all good to go again. hopefully I will get back to drop a few swaps in soon as the last container and contents. was only good for the bin.
Staying on Raymond Island for the New Years week end. Today we took our bikes out with the intent to pick up the caches from Paynesville to Eagle point. It didn’t take long to find this cache and as per the previous logs the lid of the container is broken. We also found the log was very damp and black with mould. Requires some maintenance. TFTC
Caching with McLookers this evening we made this our last cache before heading back to our nearby accommodation. Thanks Yorkoz for the hide. PS the lid is broken.
There were some very large Roos watching our every move. We located the cache and noted the broken lid. Thanks yorkoz, a nice walk to and from GZ. Found with The Tritonz tonight.
Found on a short stroll while staying in a house overlooking the track. Too wet to sign.
I swung past this cache on a bike ride from Eagle Point this morning
And a quick,
spiderweb filled stroll from the 'shared path',
took me to GZ
The cache was found in an obvious place [^]
Alas !!
The box needs a replacement !! [:o]

Found on our way to explore Paynesville. We went about a round-a-bout way, but got out the easy way. Thanks to yorkoz for another smiley. TNLN
Found at dusk this evening. Gee this was a fun one to get to, really reminded me of my childhood. Geokids had a ball!! Definitely giving this one a favourite point. Youngest geokid traded her golf ball for a little car, and we left a TB. TFTC
Loving going for a ride with Dad along the Paynesville to Eagle Point trail. I haven't been down here for years as I'm now living in Queensland, so it was nice to get out and about on such a beautiful day. On the way to GZ, we stopped and looked across the Point Fullarton wetlands, they look to be in great shape, especially nice to see the kangaroo footprints in the mud . Soon we reached GZ, parking the bikes next to some huge spitfires and after a quick search we found what we were looking for. TFTC yorkoz and for choosing a nice spot to visit
Today we explored Sale to Paynesville and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few on the way and this was one of them.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
Visited this cache on a visit with muggle friends from Melbourne. We were staying within walking distance from the walking track so enjoyed a very pleasant walk towards GZ. Saw rabbits in the fields & saw a hawk high above riding the wind. Getting to GZ involved backtracking around some nasty thorns but once I arrived at GZ, cache was quickly located. Thank you for highlighting this track.
What a nice little hide. My father has been coming here for 30 years and had never been to this spot. We even seen a mob of kangaroos as the sun set. Thanks for the cache
Yeww knocked off work for the day and thought id do a bit of geocaching found this one in the late afternoon with scooba1983 was a nice walk albeit a bit cold without a jumper.tftc
Yahoo hoo!!! Another adventure thanks for more fun well done guys: ) thanks dmousey28 once again
Found on Easter Saturday in beautiful sunshine. Rode our bikes to close to gz. TFTC. TNLN
We parked the car at the suggested location and unloaded the bikes. On the way to GZ we were lucky enough to disturb a group of kangaroos and saw them jump one fence and then the next. We were amazed how easy they made it look.GZ bought us to a spot that was almost creepy at this time of day in the shadows from the setting sun. We soon had the cache located.

Nice bike ride to GZ
Found after looking at the rabbits making a run for cover
Thanks for the cache

What a beautiful spot. The history was fascinating. Wildlife spotted - rabbits (one near GZ that startled the oldest geokid when it jumped out of some grass about 2 metres from where he was standing - worth a laugh), magpies, even some kangaroos & possibly a sea eagle. After yesterday's oppressive heat, today's cooler weather made for a great day out. Mozzies were annoying.

Fav seeing i could wheel my Wife in her chair close to this hide...TFTC Alot of caches its just no go zones for her chair TFTC Took TB.
Great afternoon walk with the geo kids and geo dog before heading to paynesville for more geocaching and fish and chips. Enjoyed the view of lake king and the weather is perfect. Took the britto's travel slug and dropped platypus TB.
Nice spot. Sad about the beautiful salt affected trees. Dropped some trackables. Tn tftc
A lovely walk on dusk. The Mariners swing is a very interesting piece of history, thanks for teaching us something and for the cache.
Find #2 on a beautiful Sunday afternoon's bike ride around the area. I had to carry a stick to swipe all of the spiders webs out of the way when approaching the GZ but when I got there the hiding place was soon found. Many thanks yorkoz for bringing me here.
