We saw that this had been archived but thought we would have a look anyway. There it was, a beautifully camouflaged cache in clean, dry, condition.
If it was still current we would have definitely awarded a favourite point.
Well done Prehnite this was a beauty????

Very tricky. Don’t think about the clue too much. Not far off the track. Enjoy.
Kids loved it!!

Out with Birdoo, inventive hide. Removed the trackable (CTQWV8) to further its journey.
Found - another tricky hide, we took the trackable and sending it on its way. Great hide!
This had us circling for a good fifteen minutes, until i leapt back onto the track, had a think, and just marched right back in there and to it. So. Good. Have another favourite!
left a cito trackable to further its journey.

After searching for a good 20 minutes almost calling it a dnf, smallwombat stops has a think puts phone away walks straight to it and picks it up phew! What a great hidden cache Tftc!
Up in Bundaberg with 2/3 of The Bromance; Swellerfungus and Seff, for a weekend of caching as per the mammoth list put together by the J.E.F.F app. We’d grabbed a few caches on the way up last night with a brief pause for dinner, before camping in a sneaky spot not far out of Bundaberg for 4 hours of quality sleep, and spending the morning caching around Bundaberg and Bargara.
The camo here and bouncing GPS were getting the better of Jez and I; luckily Seff’s GPS was more cooperative, and he spotted the well disguised cache straightaway. TFTC.

This time it was I who played passenger. I needed the rest, so let the others do the hard work. Thanks for the cache.
With a long weekend in play it was time for another road trip for The Bromance. With Crookedpete off doing his best Jack Sparrow impersonation on a sailing boat somewhere off of Hervey Bay, the full complement of JezNDez stepped up admirably to fill his shoes. A destination of Bundaberg was set and we headed off from Brisbane on Friday afternoon to begin our adventure.
Thanks to the abominable traffic heading out of Brisbane and a stop in Gympie for dinner at the RSL, it was around midnight before we located a sneaky spot to set up our tents off the road, not all that far out from Bundaberg. With a little over 4 hrs of sleep we quickly struck camp this morning and headed off before sun up to begin a new day of caching.
With the morning spent collecting caches on our target list in Bundaberg it was time to head towards the coast. Having picked up our target list of caches in Bagara we continued south along the coast towards Elliott Heads. We were attracted to this one due to the combination of a decent time since the last find and the number of favourite points. Jez and Dez both spread out but my GPS for once decided to be cooperative and guided me faithfully to the cache hide where the well disguised cache container was hidden. +1 Fav TFTC

I did return and found the cache.
What a clever hidy and a beautiful place.
Thanks Prehnite

Thanks Prehnite
This one was hard and took 3 attempts. I think perhaps a bit less debris today due to someone else finding it 2 days earlier. Thank you
Nice hide spot and it s still there! Love the cache! Can be tricky! Got signed and returned same place! Fav point from me TFTC
CRIKEY IT'S NUMBER 100!!
Sykkid and I were being relentlessly impaled by flying hypodermic menaces as we searched. We applied another layer of repellent to no avail but continued the search. We knew goggo1410 was right behind us and I hoped we would get the find first. While the slapfest to drive down the numbers of blood sucking invertebrates continued I felt I needed another clue. I grabbed my phone and had a look and noticed something. It's a prehnite hide, this is going to be tricky......
I know what sort of things to look for when it comes to hides by prehnite, it usually involves something that looks like it belongs there, not like other hides and after placing my phone in my pocket I looked at my first suspect, sure enough it looks so natural I couldn't believe I found it. I know I had walked around it at least four times but as with most prehnite hides I have found this one was as devious if not the best in camouflage I have seen from them yet.
Sadly though the fun may have been taken out of the find for goggo1410 as she arrived just after I had taken the cache from the hide. The mosquitoes were also not much fun to deal with but the experience, the company I had and the excitement of finding this incredibly natural looking hide worth getting for my 100th find, but a favourite point from me as well.
Thank you for an awesome cache prehnite.

Found it! Wonderful hide, only found it after turning off my GPS, standing still and thinking about where it could be

After solving Mission GC puzzle billyjoy and I targeted this cache due to it's high
number of favourite points. Parked near GZ and we set off. Took a bit to locate
even with hint. Found the cache, signed the log and returned it to it's hide.
It was great to find a cache that was different to the norm around here.
Get's a favourite from me.
Thanks prehnite for your efforts.

Ok ok ok. So i had tried this cache years ago (2 years ) when i qas an inexperienced cacher starting out. I knew I was in the complete wrong area and was getting eaten alive so I never widened my search. I had been deterred but today I try again as its an overcast rainy day the mozzies shouldn't be too bad.
I followed my gps which took me to an area near GZ. I turned it off and looked at the surroundings. I pick and pick at EVERYTHING when I cache now (sincr I am experienced now) I have never watched the hobbit nor do I know much abiut them but I do know what it could be (given the surroundings) i saw the cache and knew straight away. I am so happy as I havent seen one of these since before the floods over north (caught in the act) and its because of that cache ^ that I turn EVERYTHING upside down. I see why people are favouriting and I will jump on the bandwagon. Tftc. Very clever.

Up in Bundaberg for a few days visiting friends, and while they are at work I thought i may as well get some smileys
I couldn't find this one when i was a bit of a newbie, and now im a bit more seasoned and had it in hand in no time!

Tricky. Best cache we have found so far. I'm glad we didn'tgive up. Thanks for the effort
It does look a bit like an enchanted forest doesn't it? Another clever container too!
Visiting Bundaberg area from Brisbane and decided to look for caches each day. Took a while to locate but soon found. A very interesting setup of cache. TFTC
Looked ages. Then had to resort to previous logs as I don't no where Hobbits live. I guess I do now. I live 12 kms from Sydney CBD. Always enjoy a bush walk and an extremely clever cache. TFTC prehnite. Fav point
I had headed out this way today to do the earthcache and the Wherigo. I decided to park in a central spot and ride the geocycle to my chosen caches. It was a very pleasant way to pass a few hours on a beautiful winter day.
With that all done I had the whole afternoon to find some more smileys. [^]
I was targeting caches with favourite points or those with higher D/T ratings.
This one took a while to find. The clue was absolutely no help to me at all. Not at all what I thought. Just a matter of searching and I eventually looked in the right place.
Another well crafted cache, I have given out quite a few favourite points today and this cache earns one of them [^]

What can we say... This is what makes our caching experience so exciting. We just love the ingenuity that goes into some of these caches. Thanks prehnite for putting the effort into this one - it just made our day. Fortunately today was a muggle-free Monday, and the light breeze off the river kept the mozzies at bay. Cheers from Bindair Dundat and Princess Madelyn.
What a lovely area, this Riverview! Visiting friends, so popped by for this cache. No joy, so went back to fetch the tablet and find more information. Eventually found the cleverly camouflaged container. Had touched it previously, but it seemed an unlikely hiding spot! No swaps. Tftc. Enjoyed the walk with Mrs George.
Spent the day caching around Bundaberg, Bargara, Elliott Heads and Woodgate. Total for the day was 16 caches and this one gets the favourite point. Class container that without the log from mlg88 we would still be looking for. Thanks prehnite, nice work.
Found GZ but did not have the time to search as we were off by boat to find Sharks Nest and the tide does not wait so it will be another visit at some time. TFTC as we had never been to this boat launching spot even though we have been going to Elliott Heads for 30 or 40 years. Again it emphasizes the hidden benefits of geocaching.
4.25pm. Another nice camo but still a quick find. A favourite point for the cache and walk.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Nice walk but the mossies were attacking us. After a short search geo kid came up with the goods great hide deserves a favourite point
Dug around leaf litter for an hour only found two golf balls, a stubby and a fish skeleton.... And it's very hot!!!
Today's cache chase led me to Riverside
Wow !! Isn't this a quiet place on a weekday [^]
I soon found a shady parking spot and headed off on foot to round up the quartet of caches hidden along the riverside.
I must have been the first person to stroll the trail today because I kept running into spider webs strung across the path
In the darkness of the forest I peered around for any signs of a cache.
Nothing !! So I checked the clues.
Hobbits eh ??
I don't know where Hobbits live
But one spot started to look like a cachey place.
At long last I picked something up and .... you guessed it ... there was a cache attached
TFTC and stroll.

This one had geohusband and friends looking all round the place. A good hobbit hide.
Grand daughter age 2.5 & myself loved this one. it was found with in seconds. G/Dswaped her 10cents for a die.TFTC
Nice scenic walk through forest, lovely views of water, clever hide. Found 22/10/2012 at 11:20am TFTC
Did you know that this cache now has a rather large 8 legged guardian which runs over your hand when retrieving this cache from its hidey hole? If not - you have now been warned. Ms Modelbear let out a scream and almost dropped the cache on Mr Modelbear's foot. This is a beautiful spot and the cache container is well camouflaged but still was a fairly quick find for us even with the drama TFTC
Nice hide... Almost didn't find it but practically tripped over it as we started to leave... Thanks for an awesome hide.. Left TB..
Another warm, golden day of caching in the vicinity of Bundaberg. A beautiful stretch of coastline and an assortment of creative hides made for a great day out. Nice hide.
Thanks to prehnite.
