Finally got back to this one - appears to be a loss, so I'll archive it.
Thanks for all the hunting for this, our first cache.

I think this one needs maintenance. Couldn't find it despite digging. Enjoyed the sunshine though.
This cache appears to be lost. I may get to have a look in the next week or so, but it will probably be archived.
Either this cache has been muggled or more likely it has slid down inside the tyre and unreachable...
Found on a beautiful afternoon. No BMX'ers about today so an easy find. TFTC
Found in company of Drat1964 but his date log is always out. 1 small bmx'er onsite today but we wandered out of sight and he went soon after. A quick find once the way was clear. This site previously included an archery field so we had a poke around to see if any remnants remained. Sadly nothing to show for the years of Devonport Archers. TFTC
If bonus points existed, I feel like get some after this cache. After making my way to GZ - there was a logical kind of hiding spot but there didn't seem to be a cache there. So looked around a bit, and there weren't too many other possible locations. So I went back to the the first spot and tried burrowing further down/around and there did seem to be vacant space where a cache could fall down. So then I got a stick and probed with that which resulted in what sounded like tapping on plastic. Only problem was the hole in to the area was way too small. I just couldn't get my stick to pull it up, so used it to chip away at the compacted gravel so that I could get in a bit further. Despite gravel rash up my forearms I EVENTUALLY was able to retrieve the cache which appears to be the original one. Put in a few clods and things to try and prevent that happening again, and a rock in front I think. Maybe worth a check to decide if OK? Thanks spreyton22, was pleased to be able to make the find. I wonder where the new cache got to?!
Nice to visit the track again. Two of my children virtually lived here when they were young. TFTC
Hello all - There is a new cache container deposited today.
It's in the same location, the only change is there is a pencil, rather than a pen. If any visitors notice a "blunt" pencil, let me know, and I'll visit with a sharpener.
Cheers !

No luck in a search for this one, which had been archived while we were on our way to it. No beating bad luck I suppose!!!
Sorry everyone - went and had a look see and couldn't find this one - I might replace it in the near future, but at the moment, it's off the radar.
At first I had the wrong ..Oh I cant say that!! ....BUT then I looked in the right ...ooops....nearly said it again

brisk walk in the cold air to get this one found signed and were on our way again
Very quick find after enjoying a gentle stroll across the grass. I think I would rather geocache than ride a BMX over those lumps and bumps. Ouch!
It's good to see improvements being made on Public Land. Congrats to all concerned. Sharp eyes located cache.
Thought I was going to be foiled again by bmx Muggles. But they road off as I arrived. TFTC
Well I didn't know this facility was here even though the CEyres have both paddled canoes in the nearby creek (high tide) and ride bikes a lot. We will come with bikes during the holidays and ride around and then no doubt (knowing my kids) explore the bushland along the creek. Finding the cache proved to be a challenge....did I have the right co-ordinates? Yes I had exactly the right co-ordinates, I had simply overlooked the hiding spot.
Thanks for bringing me to another part of Spreyton that I have not seen before....apart from the estuary.

A pleasant short stroll didn't tire me too much. No bikes or football today. TFTC
Murphy's law muggles playing in area where gps wanted to take me. Will gave to return when things are quieter.
Very accurate coordinates led to a quick find. Could be a difficult cache for Scotsmen. TFTC Spreyton22.
Saw this pop up late afternoon so jumped in the car and was very pleased with FTF.
Very nice first cache....coords spot on.
Well done guys...keep them coming!
