This was the only one left of the Kinder Surprise series, now we know why we couldn't find it - was a kinda surprise to find this cache & the whole series is now archived! Enjoyed the puzzles in the series anyway.
I did not persist with my search for this cache for fear of damaging the plants in the garden. If the cache can't be easily reached from the grass or path then it shouldn't be there. I have seen plants in gardens like this destroyed by cachers due lack of a decent hint.
In town for work but with some spare time. A challenge I noticed recently gave me the added incentive to go for a few multis and puzzles, which I sometimes don't make the time for when I'm just visiting. I think I made a start on this one on a previous visit but ran out of time to complete. No such problem today although I may have miscounted something as my GPS seemed to be pointing about 49m away from the hint object. Caching instinct took over and luckily for me the cache was a bit exposed and easy to spot. TFTC, Biggles.
We always enjoy this sort of Multi and often learn something while gathering the information required. From the waypoint it was off to the final where we spotted the little "Surprise" in the light of our torch at 11pm. Thanks.

#2482. One of four finds before breakfast. Got the info for the coords the previous band, towards the end of a long walk back to UoC. All quiet this early in the morning. TFTC.
Brilliant fun,we surprised ourselves with how easily we did this. looking forward to doing all off them. Off to do No.4.
#470: First of Six This Morning.
This find is one of six I made this morning by bike. Each was of a different cache type: Multi, Earth, Mystery, Virtual, Traditional, and Webcam. I planned this day over the past week or so, after looking at the map of Christchurch, and seeing the various icons not so far apart. I was a little worried when I woke up to rain, but it stopped quickly, and I could see the sun coming in. The whole route took me about 1.5 hours (not including the flat tyre, walking back towards my place from the corner of Bealey Ave. & Durham St., stopping at a bike shop to buy a new tube, installing the tube on a park bench, and then hobbling home). Glad I could get them all in, despite the hangups.

I did a lot of the legwork for this one over the past few days, and put it all together last night. Took me a little bit to make the find (a few muggles about), but after checking the hint, I was soon signing the log. I noted down the necessary info to help with the final. Now on to the others!
SL/TFTC!
Great to come back to GZ, an old spot I remember having school athletics at. TFTC
Busy around waypoint today - double parked and collected info, geochecked on iPhone and headed straight to final. Quieter there. TFTC.
Know what to look for now!! Nicely nestled and muggle free. To fellow cachers just watch out for a large doggy doos very close by. Thank you.
Easy find just out of sight of the football players. Pedro had a good trip back to the car. TFTC
Stopped by at the first waypoint a few weeks ago without the list of questions, so I jotted down what I could and later geochecker was able to tell me when I had it 'calculated' the rest correctly.
Got to the cache, and without a hint I decided to play 'where would I hide it?' which worked first time. A good one to visit on a cold winter's afternoon, no muggles nearby today.

A nice easy find. Signed the log and then took the number for the final down and placed the cache back. my note which I had the number writen on had blown away. then a muggle came to close so i couldnt retrieve the cache again. So i will have to go back and get the number another time TFTC
3654. We had to wait until the crowd was facing away from us then it was a quick pick-up and return.

Found quickly in the late afternoons waining sunlight. Info at WP quickly deciphered. GZ was busy with sports and a few muggles preoccupied with skateboards....found quickly in the first place I looked. Most excellent. Thanksf or the great wee multi...
TFTC. This location also required two visits as there was a lot of foot traffic through here yesterday. Much less busy today. Initally I thought it would be a tricky hunt as there were lots of wind blown leaves about, however cache placed well and readily retrieved.
Accidentally walked into a hedgehog whilst walking into this one. It was OK though as it just rolled up into a ball and was gone when we walked back past. Easy find. Cheers Gav [8259]
Had just gotten home and saw that this cache remained unfound and so I decided to give it a go. A LOT of activity by the given coordinates, none of it good. But, got the clues and soon the cache was in hand. Cheers for the cache!
