I turn on the gps only 300m away from this cache to check if there was any geocaches in this area! Great find. Beautiful country. TFTC.
2.50pm. It had migrated to the oither side as an earlier log suggested. Lucky that it had as there were two sizable wasp nests on the original side. Beware!! TNLNSL

I think the herd has migrated to the other side. No matter, it's where you would expect a beast with a hide of steel to reside. TFTC

Looked on the wrong side at first but soon found what could have been a wild beast lol. Tftc

11838... GPS initially had us looking on the wrong side of the road, great views of the ranges, thanks for showing us Breannah's Rhino.
We found this cute cache on the opposite side of the road from where our GPS told us to search. Still a quick easy find. TFTC
Headed to where GPSr said, but after a bit of a search I was wondering if it was still here, when hubby who hadn't followed me but had gone to the other side of road said 'does it look like a ?????' (He only knew the hint). TFTC
Glad there were none of the real thing around. After careful inspection, disturbing a large black spider, and dislodging a paper wasp nest or two, with no result we moved to the other side and hey presto there it was.
Another clever camo from Geckho.

Pleased there are no hippos about, would make the trout fishing challenging.
Found today on the way home.

The caching was more fun and successful than the lake fishing nearby, Rerewhakaaitu was more productive., 4 in a few hours, one with a tag, so will send the details to ERFG.

Night caching along the Rangitaiki River. Found the wasp nest and followed the direction of the last finder. An interesting cache container. TFTC.
Thought I had logged this one - but checking tonight I see I missed it - bit sad to see you using Brennah toys for your cache - Nice quick drive up the road and back TFTC
Quick find while heading back to Wellington. Found cache on the other side of the rail from co-ords. There is a paper wasp nest at co-ords (according to my GPS). TFTC.
Tried to clean all caches between Muru and Te Teko...
Second DNF on easy caches I thought...
Will have to do another trip one day

Had expected a quick find of a one-difficulty cache. But alas, no. There was a horde of wasps nearby, and one of them was guarding the rail. Was that a camo? Tried a gentle poke with a stick, but no ... it moved to an aggressive posture and attacked the stick.
First looked for what I now know as a "Geckoh plastic camo". When I couldn't find that I looked for the other types of camo generally encountered in this kind of setting, but no luck. A truck was about to come past, so I left.
We had a discussion about the name of this cache before we went there - rhino? When we had been looking around for a while our muggler friend just had the solution and we found this really fun cache(!) Thanks for this great cache!
DNF Wasn't quite sure what I was looking for but searched the guard rail pretty good
Quickly found just on sunset. Tickled his tum to get the log. Signed then replaced. TFTC
On 2nd stop we found this, thought we'd be in a muggle free zone, but there is a good watercress patch close by, so shot away for a while and got back to the big game hunt. ta for the cache
Another excellent cache holder! Thankyou Breannah!
As it is almost Matariki, we gave the Rhino a little necklace of stars to help light up inside her/his sentry box!

Next time i pass I'll drop off a friend for Bree's rhino, had a little green bug with me but dont think they would have been good friends.

Just happened to be passing by and wondered what the noisy racket was coming from inside, was quite surprised to see who lives there! Thanks for the fun Breannah. TFTC.

Nice one Breannah. Should be well protected. Sure beats the magnetic box.
