just think you need to have a look to see if it is still there, after 5 DNF's in a row, think this one is gone.
I did look high and low but can't find it so will come back again.

I must have tried all the places Yurt did, looked high and higher and still no joy, at least no muggles in this weather, will be back
Needed a calendar find but this didn't prove to be it. All quiet today so I looked up and down and through all the nasty spider webs in every hole, stuck my fingers where they shouldn't go, PAF option also no good. I knew what I was looking for and what it should be on but I couldn't find it. As it was only found a couple of days ago I believe it's there but I don't know where.
Found the turkey in its roost fairly quickly but took longer to find a spot to cram my mark into the log. It's 120% full. TFTC
Finally after a while scratching my head, just about to leave when i gained some height, then saw it. a great scenic location for a turkey
I was at Rouse Hill Town Center and thought I'd give another cache ago in the area. I pulled up to find some people picnicing with all the car parking spots to the west taken with what turned out to be visitors to houses near by. After following the maze of roads out of that portion and then around, across, down up right, a round-about and right and right again and around another round-about I came to the other side of the park and a place to park. This isn't the first time I've been through this area and the planners in Hill Council need to go back to primary school to figure out how to design a sub-division. I'm glad I don't live here. As I pulled up there were 4 cars and the people who were BBQing and picnicing heading straight for them. Great, I had the place to myself. After searching a few locations and letting my GPS settle down I made the find. The log was very full but I managed to sign the log. Nice area. As I was leaving 2 people were coming from the other direction with phones in hand....A quick look and I wansn't sure they were geocachers. They sat down close to GZ but didn't do much or may be they were waiting until I left thinking I was a muggler. I quickly left and headed off to grab some icecreams. Thanks for the cache.
We stopped here to have lunch and a cuppa, and quickly located the little blighter. No sooner then we found a tiny place on the log to scrawl our name a group of muggles arrived. Geo-pup created the perfect distraction so while their kids were patting geo-pup and the mum talking to geo-wife I was able to replace it. This is a very nice park and also good views of the mountains, thanks.
After a quick search found this with geokids. No more room to write logs. TFTC CobTod
Missed it at night, returned just now to see it almost from the car. Haha, should try day caching more often. Tftc, quick find this time.
Hamstrung again... ran out of time after searching the obvious spots. I think
I'll be back.
Thanks
I'll be back.
Thanks
This one proved trickier than it should have been, took a while but got there in the end. TFTC.
A quick find on a fun afternoon with Deputy Dog. Thi sis the closest cache to home and I kept thinking I would do it "one of these days" - finally it is done.
Found this one with Bower Bird on a quick afternoon cache dash..

4th day on holiday around Sydney. Really enjoying the good weather and fun caches. Took a long search to get this one located. SL TFTC
After our second attempt at finding the cache, this one still got the better of us. Hoping it hasnt been muggled, but determined to find it next time.
Was nearly going to give up and head back the warm of the car when i layed my hands on this little sucker. Quickly signed the log and went on my way.
Thanks For The Cache thelovemores

I parked the car about 7 metres away from GZ. And its pouring down with rain. From the car, I could see the most likely hidy hole and had the cache in Hand in no time at all.
Why don't all these road connect around this park ( The town planners should be shot) I came in from the south end of the park and with the rain pouring down, I choose to drive around to the north side to get closer to the cache, but must have used an extra couple of litres of fuel to get there. It's a real maze of roads around here. TFTC
Cheers

For some reason I thought this cache and GZ would be entirely different from what I found. I looked around for a bit and thought I should reread the description, was about to sit down at the chairs provided when I spotted the cache.!!
If I were a turkey (and many have thought I could be) that's just the spot I would have chosen!!

Chook and I were joined once again by Christine Vista and headed out to the Rouse Hill area for some serious caching. We drove to Turtle Nest Recreation Park just off Arnold Janssen Drive, parked and headed off towards GZ. When we got there we were stumped for a while trying to find the cache until Chook came to the fore and spotted it.
Lovely maintained park area with good views to the mountains from the stroll around the pond. Just had to avoid a muggle pushing her young muggle in his bike. TFTC.
Great views and surprised to find a little pond so high up on top of the mesa… that was until I realised I could have parked at the same elevation nearby. GPS not playing ball under the structure but once the closest spot was narrowed from the outside, cache quickly and amazingly spotted. God-daughter’s favourite find of the day. A tricky little hide had me crowing about it too!
Did not find, looking for a micro that was stated, and not the nano that was shown in the picture.
Thanks.
Thanks.
This one had us searching all over and scratching our heads, Estreich Dad finally spotted it
Great views from nice park up on the hill

I arrived here to see how easy this one would be. A few muggles about, but no one near me. I started searching and wondered where this thing was. Looked up, down, in, out, above, below, but nothing jumped out at me. I read the hint, WHAT? No help there for me. A txt to a TAF, but no reply, so I just restarted my search again. Second time around and ahh, I didn't look there...Gotcha! SL and replaced. Well done! Easy when you know where TFTC

Reperio at 0735. Arrived here with almost no one around, so the search for this one went unimpeded. After checking a multitude of places, I finally felt that familiar touch of a cache, and was glad to have found it as you could quite simply miss it.

I think the only turkeys around here today was myself and Satanas 666, as we looked and looked, but no cache could we find..
Are you sure this is not a Bower Bird's nest?
I am sure I saw lots of blue things just nearby

I drove over to the Roosting Place near Kellyville after I finished work in Dural, and it was quite dark by that time.
But at least I had GZ to myself -- for a while.
For some reason I thought I was looking for a larger turkey. However, when I modified my expectations, I quickly found the mini chick in a likely place.
Container was in good shape and the log scroll was dry.
TNLNSL.
As I was packing up my torch and GPSr, a couple of young people stopped by to 'hang out' in the picnic area. We exchanged greetings and off I went. They must have wondered why I was there by myself at that hour . . .
Many thanks to thelovemores.

Saw this pop up and grabbed Honeysoy for a ftf. Dragansj must live close by as they were there and gone before we got there around 11:35am.
Either this is a tricky hide or we were looking in the wrong place but we came up empty.
Ps do turkeys really roost?

I was using my mobile when the notification for a new cache came through. I jumped in the car to chase an FTF down . When I got to GZ I found a lovely little park and BBQ area that I didn't know existed here. A little bit of looking and the blighter was in hand. Log signed with DSJ. Note to self. Get a ball-point pen and throw away the gel ink one, they seem to be messy.
Thanks for bringing me to this area.
