Second time finding this one. Came yesterday but when I opened the log book I realized I left all my pens in the car and didn't log because I'm a stickler for the rules and today I came back with my pens and signed away. But! I did take the last spot in the log book. So it will need replacing.
Traveling with Gate1 travel. Doing a little targeted caching along the way. Walked a few blocks from hotel to this area for the New Zealand Monopoly puzzle cache. Nice to be able to this one while nearby. No muggles around on this early Sunday morning. All dry. TFTC.
EN : the Uber took us back to the city center after we had boarded the GC46 .We will then let ourselves be guided by the labs and caches which will allow us to discover this city. All caches will be found easily and logbooks signed. Thank you to all the installers for the work carried out for our greatest pleasure. Greetings from France. Our Travel Bugs pass through this cache but do not come out of our backpack; they continue the adventure with us. Trip to New Zealand decided very quickly , but that did not stop us from preparing a small file of caches to search, as far as possible. The GC46 is, of course, at the top of this list! Our program should allow us to discover a large part of this country.FR : le Uber nous a ramen dans le centre ville aprs que nous ayons logu la GC46 .Nous allons alors nous laisser guider par les labs et les caches qui vont nous permettre de dcouvrir cette ville. Today we visited "London Calling on Tour: Wellington, New Zealand". Afterwards we found some tradies nearby. This one was one of them .MPLC and greetings from us from Germany.
We passed GZ on the way to our morning event and saw that there were no muggles around. We still had some time and decided to have a look. No problems finding this one, it was exactly where it should be. TFTC!
Happy New Zealand trip with geocaching.A pity were with muggle friends and cant visit as much as geocaches as we like. I appreciate all the caches we passed and visited. Thanks, Guwapo, for the cache. Greetings from Taiwan.
Cool place and sneaky little cache. Admired the view for a bit and then the cache was in our hands. TFTC
#3777 I am on my geocaching holiday in New Zealand. Today is my day 3, and I walked around Wellington and found some geocaching here.Found it!Guwapo, thank you for the cache!-crystaloops from Taipei, Taiwan on October 3, 2024 @ 15:15:14[GC2VT7X] Main Street - Lambton Quay (Wellington) was a D2.5/T1.0 Micro Traditional Cache at the time of finding.
As someone that works in Wellington city, Ive been trying to grab this one for ages, but at lunchtime there are always so many muggles about. But today I timed it perfectly. So was able to grab quickly. Thanks for the cache.
A day trip into Wellington today. I planned for all weathers and got a cold but sunny, windy day - I can work with that! Beats being soaked through. This one has been on my raydar on recent visits into the big smoke, however the opportune moment never presented itself as this place seems to be heaving with people whenever I go past it. Today was the quietest I've seen it in a while - possibly a fortuitous combo of good timing and early enough/cold enough that people weren't congregating - so I went in for the find. Surprisingly strong magnet, that I couldn't dislodge from a sitting position, so I 'tied my laces' to make the extract easier. All in good order here. Well done for maintaining a cache in such a public place. Gives us cachers a chance to perfect our 'stealth mode' . TFTC Guwapo.
Having bade farewell to the others, I was nearly back at the ranch when I remembered this one remained in the unfound pile due to constant muggling experience at GZ. I figured that that shouldn't be a problem at this time of night and sure enough, the coast was clear when I arrived. With a healthy squiz at the hint, I wasn't long before I was signing the log at 21:20 and it was back to the ranch for real this time. TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Guwapo.
After being muggled out of this find earlier in the day (somebody sat down at GZ as we worked out where GZ was), we were glad to come back and pick this up later in the day, with a few less people milling around. A nice easy find here, TFTC!
Came out of our hotel for a morning bite to eat and were actually surprised that there really werent many places open on a Saturday morning so it turned into a geocaching expedition instead. About an hour and a half later breakfast was finally had and it was actually a bit of a let down with soggy bread instead of toast but irondale got a good porridge. This was a quick find and we used the hint to grab it. TFTC
Together with Birba68 we just arived in The City and on a first walk we found this Cache fast. Thank you
Wish I hadnt of looked at the hint as this put me off. Once I relied on the cords I made a quick find. TFTC
Quick find once in the right place. Signed as PPD and TW. Now off to the cable car. Tftc
Tftc. Staying in and around wellington till we move off to the South Island on our road trip round your fabulous country.
Out for a stroll on a quiet moment. My accomplice helped me grab the cache when no muggles were looking! TFTC
At 2pm on a weekday it wasnt too busy here. Even if it had been, people dont seem to take much notice of what others are doing anyway. Once Mrs tbird and I had sat down, I had a discrete look under and spotted it straightaway. An easier find than expected! #7602. TFTC.
I have been meaning to find this cache for awhile now but its always been too busy with muggles. So being in the city early today decided to go and find it. Yay nice spot. Plus its the first cache I found for the first day of winter. Thanks

Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien ???? und Neuseeland ????.

EnglishWe are six Norwegians on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. We arrived in Melbourne at the beginning of February and are traveling home after the mega event in Adelaide. We travel by car and Geocaching helps us discover many nice places and often helps to decide where we choose the route between our goals which are: Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Dunedeen, and Adelaide. This is one of the caches we found on the trip and we thank you for showing us this place. We who are on tour have the nicknames: MrVonsr, ingsve, EllenSch and TeamEika. And signs the logs with N4.Great thanks for showing us and doing our tour wonderful NorwegianVi er seks nordmenn p tur i Australia og New Zealand. Cachehilsen fra Ellen Sch, NorgeMe and MrV sr have come down to Australia and New Zealand, -an old dream has finally come to an end. Team Eika and Ingsve have also traveled with us on this trip.We have been traveling cross-country for a month, and the goal is to end up in Adeleide and mega-event on the leap year. We have especially looked for old caches, to fill jasmer'n, for a couple of pieces, and for the other two of us who have started to think about reviewing more. The vast majority of them showed up at their places, sometimes we had to search a bit, but we were usually lucky in the end. There were also some DNFs.We have mostly logged in with the common nickname N4 (ingsve, Von sr. TeamEika and Ellen Sch), but our own nicknames are also used.A big thank you to all you CO's for laying out and maintaining your caches. Without their work, we would never have been able to make a living with this hobby.Always nice to have a new smiley face on the map.Cache greetings from Ellen Sch, Norway
Out on a geocache trip with Ellen Sch , Team Eika and ingsve on holiday in New Zealand, and today it was this area that was prioritized If nothing else is mentioned, we found the cache at good coordinates and it was fine To save space in the log, we often log in with the nickname N4 Many thanks to CO for laying out and maintaining this Greetings from Norway TFTCUte p en geocache-tur med Ellen Sch,Team Eika og ingsve p ferien i New Zealand og idag var det dette omrdet som ble prioritert Hvis ikke annet er nevnt s fant vi cachen p gode koordinater og den hadde det braFor spare plass i loggen logger vi ofte med nick N4Tusen takk til Til CO for utlegg og vedlikehold av denne Hilsen fra Norge TFTC
As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip.
We are aware that the lid is missing.Cache will be replaced as soon as I receive new containers from the CO.
Hi we are off a cruise ship the Noordam and enjoying looking around your city its always good to come across some caches when visiting a new place so TFTC
A lovely quiet little park after a busy day in Wellington. The cache is missing its lid, but it is still in location, and log in place inside a plastic bag.TFTC!
Sorry folks. I notified the owner that I had located it and put it back to its normal position. He is sending me replacements in view of the broken lid but was going to enable it- he must have forgotten. As I don't usually attend events these days I overlooked this one or I would have followed up to get the cache enabled in time for it!
In spite of having now effectively lived in the Wellington area for over 2 years now, I had still not attempted to find this cache until today, and that was really because I was attending an event in this park.A quick and easy find, I was then further surprised to see that the cache is currently disabled. There's really no need as everything here is fine in spite of the missing lid of the container. I passed the log around a few other attendees who hadn't previously found it, and I took the TB found within, before then replacing it back just as found. Thanks for setting it up.
# #7,111 #----------Managed to find this one during the event after what appeared to be a collective effort. Pleased to see it wasnt missing, a relief for the CO indeed. TFTC!!! ----------> All geocaches are signed as mmmPIZZA or mPZ
Cache is definitely still there and exactly at GZ. A fun little find while an event was going on.
We were going to Wellington by bus for a whole night. Than we were waiting for the ferry and explored the town. It was really hot and I finally slept in the park on the lawn:))Greetings from Europe (the Czech Republic).Christmas tree in that hot weather was still funny for me:)Thanks.
