In Denver for a couple of days before heading home to Australia. Headed out this side of the airport to grab what caches I could. The overnight snow falls made life interesting, but it good to have a go in the snow.
Found most I went for, the others, I just though the snow might have covered then too much.
All up a good way to spend a few hours. Many thanks to all CO's, and greetings from Australia.....

Other than the first travel day with blowing dust and 70 MPH winds followed by torrential rain, the caching weather was just great. Thanks to all the CO's for the great variety of hides and all the time and effort to keep them serviced. TFTC
Gotta love an old fashioned GRC. This needs an ammo can in it! I know they fit, because we hide them all over Portland!
Out caching the Denver area today. Some favorites and some DNF's. All in all a great day. Thanks for placing this cache.

Flag day is a wonderful day that we all need to be sure to observe! We were out here with the Golden B's getting a few caches around the Watkins area. As I reached in to see if the cache was there, I touched something that sent chills up my spine. I jerked my hand back and let out a little moan and Mrs. Golden B's asked what was wrong. I told her I thought I had found the cache, but I was not sure because it felt really wierd! I gritted my teeth and reached back in. Yep, it was the cache and we had to chuckle when we seen the container! One of my favorite things and in my favorite color!!!! Cached and dashed. TFTC
Mrs. Chihuahuas-3 jumped when she retrieved this cache and of course, that started me. Then she got brave and went ahead, tried again, and got it. We had to laugh when we saw the container! Thank you for the cache.
Had a great trip to CO and enjoyed my day on the plains. I haven't been out here since we moved to CA over two years ago and it was nice to add a few more 's to the map. Thanks for adding to a fun trip!
We got an early start this morning from the city to check out a few of the trails east of town. We quickly got into a good rhythm and were able to often quickly make the find thanks to the fine coordinates. We replaced a few cache logs that were wet and a couple of containers that had been cracked by UV exposure. We stamped each of our finds with a red maple leaf to mark our visit. Overall a fine day on the trail with many splendid views – TFTH and fun!
Had to pass this one up - two guys were sitting in their truck eating lunch right at GZ. Next time !!
Found it caching with my daughter out east of Denver, Colorado.
The weather was excellent for Geocaching, sunny and not to hot.

Came to the area early to cache before picking up Ms Barasaur from DIA. Yep I was here a few hours early and ended up with somewhere around 110 caches on the day. My highest day ever. TFTC for me to find today.

It was a beautiful day to clean up a section of the caches in the Great Plains of Colorado. Thank you for the cache.
Visiting the Denver area from Dallas, Texas with Zeppo! for Geocoinfest. Decided to play hookey from work today, and flew in last night. So we spent the day caching around the airport.
Left the hotel at 5:30 AM. What is up with this cold and even SNOW in the morning. The car said it was 27 degrees outside. And why didn't we remember to bring jackets? Eventually the temperatrue got up to 41, but it sure didn't feel must warmer than 30!!! Have I mentioned yet how cold it was today? Should I say it was 90 degrees in Dallas today?
We made a run today and ended up with about 240 caches for the day. Great times! Prairieearth joined us for the last hour.
A few memories:
1. Zeppo almost backing the rental car into a metal pole - a few times
2. The cache that was under the dead deer - well, what was left of it ....
3. The sun - yes it did break out for a few minutes this morning!
4. The cute lil bugs hiding caches! Some containers were very cool!
5. The podcasts! I think Zeppo finally came close to catching up!
6. Making 100 caches today, then 200 caches, and then surpassing our old record of 227 caches in one day!
7. Zeppo making 19000 cache finds today!! Congrats buddy!
8. Lunch on the fly .. well... me making sandwiches in the car on the way to another run ... with food flying all over the car as zeppo rounded corners pretty fast...
9. Almost driving into the corn field ...... another story there!!!
10. Good times with my buddy.
11. Wet feet. Cold wet feet all day long. And then the dash to walmart at the end to get dry tennis shoes!
12. The deer we saw this morning while caching.
13. All the buddy rabbits keeping an eye on the caches, but running away as we approached!
14. Caching in the snow .... kinda cool!
Appreciate all of the caches and the time to place, publish and maintain them! Thanks for the smiley!

Geocoinfest Weekend with PrairieEarth and WadeMercer.
At dawn, during the snow fall, we started our caching day. It was pretty amazing seeing the deer, rabbits, and prairie dogs today. Our feet got wet, but our spirits held strong. Yesterday, WadeMercer found his 21,000th find and today, I found my 19,000th. Tomorrow hopefully PrarieEarth will find his 4,000th. It is a special weeekend.
1:39:00 PM: At every turn we found something special.
Thanks for the fun as our last stop of the night is the meet and greet!

Last day of our CO trip. We did all quick drive up's this afternoon mostly on country roads southeast of the airport. Thanks for hiding them all for us to find.
Caching in the area with my better half. Thanks so much for placing these caches.
US12. This turned out to be a long and productive day caching out behind the airport. Lots of under used roads with all manner of cache hides. A great day that was a little bit reminiscent of the power trail in California on Route 66, just by myself this time. Thanks.
