So dissapointed we couldnt make this, as others put it life got in the way. Even though we are in Mandurah and after setting an alarm the day and then an hour before it. Maybe next time looks like it was fabby, well done WA K Team excellent turn out.
We had massive intentions to come because we wanted to meet and greet with more fellow geocachers. However one team members knee reconstruction just a few days prior to the event prevented our attendance, maybe another time. I hope all of you had a fantastic time! will meet in the future
Attended with Wasers5. Lots of blue!!

Awesome, tftc! Picked up team firesafe trackable and swap snoopy for a step counter
We were very excited to reach the foreshore and soon see others start to remove jackets and start to move towards GZ. We hope everyone enjoyed the Jelly Belly beans. Left "In search of H", took "Blingg and Mud's Kookaburra" and "Amazing Racing Polar Bear". Also left and took swappables.
Thanks to all organisers and attendees, but particularly WA K Team & Paynetrain. Cache well done!

Had an awesome time at the event! Loved watching everyone just zone in to the one spot like a group of zombies! This has gotta be one of the best kinds of events!
Thanks for the balloons too. We had people asking us as we walked away what they were for. "Uhhm... a game. "

Found it! Homed in on large mob of blue people surrounding an ammo box. Thanks for putting this event on. Met some great people. And thanks Jacaro44 for the blue balloons and thanks to whoever supplied the Jelly Bellies. My definite favourite was strawberry jam. Beware, the sizzling cinnamon has a bit of a kick.
What a great idea, met some fabulous people.
Was so happy that I won a geocoin
Thank-you
SL Swapped TB

Enjoyed our first caching event and meeting a number of fellow cachers during the afternoon at the various caches around the foreshore. Thank you and well done to the organisers.
Lovely to be a part of this today. Great planning and a really successful outcome.
I was flashing a smile to everyone after the event today who was wearing blue, but even if they weren't cachers, they say a smile can brighten anyone's day...

Am adding a "dropped off" log for "In search of H" - since we are still holding it, it may as well attend the event. Am happy if someone else wants to move it on, but otherwise will take it with us again and place in an "H" cache soon.
Thanks for organising this bizarre event WA K Team and Paynetrain. The Skulduggeries intend to attend.
We're making a flying visit to family this weekend, just a few km from the event - how convienient! Our schedule will be pretty packed, but if we can get away for 15 minutes we might be able to attend this event.
Looks like I will be attending since my previous appointment has been postponed, so will see you all down there...now to find something blue, borrowed...oops, wrong event...
OK - some last minute instructions / updates for the event
Logging on the Day
==============
When you get to the cache location you will be given a log sheet please complete all information as follows
1) Your Geocaching log name
2) The number of people in your group
3) Any comments
4) Any Trackables you put (or will put) into the container
Fill the sheet in and put it in the ammo box. The log sheets will be used for
1) Drawing out the FTF and other prizes
2) Validating your on-line log
3) Reporting attendance numbers to the global organisers.
TBs and Geocoins
==============
We will have a container (not the ammo box) for you to drop and take TBs and geocoins. To make things easier on the day please log any trackables into the event cache prior to the event. This makes it easier for people to log a retrieve when they get home. Please share and show them around as we have some newbies on the day who who like to see the variety available. Also log a retrieve ASAP and move the trackable on.
I have logged in a number of TBs and geocoins already
Swaps
=====
There will be a second container with some swaps in it for the geokids (old and young ).
Normal rules apply - swap items of equal or greater value
Prize Draws
=========
The prize draws, using the log sheets in the ammo box will be as follows
1) Draw for FTF honors and Signal FTF mini geocoin to keep
2) Draw for 2 WWFM VIII geocoins to keep
3) Draw for 3 WWFM VIII event tags to keep
Geocaching.com Event Souvenir
=======================
Not sure how this works yet but if you log your attendance on-line within 2 weeks of the event you will be eligible to get the WWFM VIII event souvenir from Geocaching.com
See you all there

I have "dropped" 2 WWFM VIII geocoins into the cache. We will hold a draw of the logs in the cache after the photo for 2 lucky people to take them home.
I also have 2 more coins for anyone who wants to do a trade on the day.
I hope to add some of the WWFM VIII event tags to the cache later in the week and will include these in the draw as well.
See you all on the 4th.

We are hoping to be there. Geokid 1 has been wanting to do a flash mob for ages!
capanira family will attend (hopefully all 4 of us, but you never know when there is a teen involved!). Am trying to rope in the geo's who introduced us too.
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend this event due to the other arrangement that I have already booked on the same day. I'll be thinking of you all and have a great time. Cheers.
I'll try to come to this event. Hopefully I can finish my work here in Australia untill this day. Otherwise I will try to stop my work earlier on this day for attending.
This will be a great final for my visit in this country.

have always wanted to attend a flash mob, great idea will be there with the geo-kids
BlaKids and I should be able to attend this event (5 people in all). It looks good and it is a great excuse to go do some Mandurah caches. Just 3 Questions:
(i) How big is the cache (Micro, lunchbox, etc)?
(ii) Will it cost anything?
(iii) Will we be able to drop Travel Bugs in this cache?
Thanks, loubla

Thanks WanderingAus, I have changed yellow to blue in the offending text. I originally had for people to wear something yellow but Mrs K suggested that people, especially blokes, are more likely to have something blue than yellow, so I bowed to superior fashion knowledge.
Dropped in the Signal FTF Micro which will be allocated by draw from the cache.

In answer to Ioubla's questions
1) The cache will be an ammo box - it will be in plain view so you won't miss it
2) There is no cost involved.
3) You cannot drop TBs in the cache. It is effectively only active for the 15 minutes of the event, remains "open" on line so people can log their attendance and then gets archived. So if you put one in it will get trapped. There are a few caches within walking distance of the event that can accepted TB's - can even suggest GC2RAGX - PMC3 Mary McLarty which is a 700ml Sistema and can take some TBs.

grrrrrrrrr another missed opportunity.... sorry no go for me again, Perth Urban Max on that day so should be exhausted and suffering by then.............
Yippee, as it looks at the moment, I should be able to undertake a flash visit to Mandurah on this day, here is hoping
I would do a "needs Maintenance" log but thjat's not available.
Need a slight amendment to the phrase "uncovering their yellow clothing item".
Regrettably I expect to have already departed on an annual "Climatic Refugee" trip, first long stop Darwin.
Not sure whether we'll get there in time for GC2TKGK WWFM-VIII- DARWIN by dbanksy, but I'll be trying.
