We had a quick look here after taking a photo for the NZ Monopoly virtual, but there were too many muggles enjoying their well earned lunch break.
It's always tough deciding where to stop when you're in unfamiliar places but this time we were spot on with our choice. We found an easy place to park, (arguably) the best cafe in town, a lovely "frock" shop a convenient convenience. Oh, and a cache. Having a great day all round. Many thanks for your part in it !
Found on the second attempt while up for a trip to Timaru. A nice quick find this time while surprisingly muggle free. TFTC
Found with ivss_xx on our way to Dunedin. We stopped off here to get a photo for a virtual we have in progress.
There was a lady sitting nearby when I arrived, so I did a bit of thorough reading while I waited for her to move along. She did and I then sat and made an instant find. I was in the area before lots of people were around, I imagine this area has the potential to get really busy during the day. Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley
NZ_B and I are on a road trip to the Geo Toroa Mega. I'm also hoping to get a multi everyday, so it is now titled the "Mega Multi Road Trip". Today is Day 4 from Christchurch to Timaru. This cache was one on our journey today. There was one lady in the proximity enjoying the space, but facing away, so between the two of us, we managed a discrete withdrawal, sign, and return. A good site choice. Said a quick hello to Ruby and onwards to the next cache. Thank you Guwapo for placing it here to find. It's nice to have a trip where alongside targeted caches we also take time to find one's on a whim or ones that take a bit longer. We have all day and the caches are calling...
With a muggle close by Itchyfeet2020 and I had to be very careful when retrieving this cache. Under these circumstances it didnt take long to stop the cache and with a few hand signals and mouthing of words the cache was in hand, log signed and cache returned to its hiding place. TFTC Guwapo. And so 7 days after returning home from a five month trip to the UK and Europe, I am off on another trip. This time its within New Zealand as Itchyfeet2020 and I are on our mega road trip to Dunedin. We are focussing on particular caches for various challenges, as well as having a great lot of fun and seeing the scenery in our wonderful land. -LET US HAVE A BLOCK PARTY!!!On May 3rd, 2025, we will be celebrating 25 years of geocaching in Rotorua, New Zealand with a special Block Party event. Join us to celebrate 25 years of this amazing game, and that the very first geocache hidden outside of the United States, 25 years ago, was hidden here in New Zealand. You do not want to miss this event, so check out the "[GCAKR25](https://coord.info/GCAKR25) 25 Years of Geocaching NZ! event page, the [event website](http://25years.geocache.nz/) for more details, join the [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/groups/924894455969387) group, and sign up to the [email list](http://25years.geocache.nz/?p=4) to get updates...If you intend to come, please make sure you get your "Will Attend" log onto the page as soon as you can in order to assist with planning the first ever Block Party in New Zealand.-

Hi, we are on a cruise from Australia to NZ and enjoying the various towns and cities along the way so TFTCTo CO your log is full.
A summertime trip to the South Island, what could be better. My travels over the next few days have me flying to Christchurch (from Wellington) and then driving down to Timaru to visit with one of my favourite Geocaching teams. After a couple of days they'll be sick of me, so then it's back up to Christchurch for a night to see a band play, and then up to Kaikoura for a couple of nights and to see the same band play again. Along the way I'll be looking for Geocaches, and here's one I found. Having DNF'd this one last time i was here, i was happy to finally make the find. --- Thanks to Guwapo for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues. Nice easy one for us at 9.30 in the morning, not many people around made for a comfortable search.
