I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.

Hi Grobyc

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Regards

As per my log, the 'outside / camo'd' geocache container is present but the 'inside' container and logbook are missing. On finding the camo'd container, I messaged the CO about the state of the cache and I was hoping that the CO may be able to fix the situation. With a few months passing and no further contact or attention, I am suggesting that the process of archiving this geocache is started. Sad

1072. 2:45 pm. I found the larger cache container, but sadly the logbook and smaller container to keep it dry was missing. I've taken a photo and messaged the CO. TFT(church-view)C.

Well what a great Christmas New Years we have had so far it all started off in Friendly Feilding have Christmas lunch with the family then next day Boxing day off to Danniverke for a weeks holiday together so special first holiday with the Grandson hes only 7 months old, then we didn't know what or where to go next so ended up going to Napier and then across the Napier Taupo road got a cache and a trackable, not easy to stop all the time with a large caravan on the back. We finally got to Taupo and said where to now so we kept going and then we got a text message some plans next week had been transferred to the end of January so we could go away for an extra week. We ended up in Walton Gold course for two nights to finish off the Kiwi and another puzzle series got 46 caches in total some were traditionals as well, got that sorted and then headed off today decided we would do the Route 66 trail and Smilie trail so we ended up in Orewa so we are here for a few nights. We set off this morning and completed the Route 66 series had some lunch about 1.30pm then we decided to get some more traditionals in the area and then slowly head off to get some smilie series caches. once we were back to our accommodation had some tea we decided to go for a walk along the beach front and get a couple of caches. next day we headed towards Whangarei got settled into our accommodation then decided to go get a cache or two this was cache number 6 for us today, the co ordinates are a bit out by 15 to 20 metres, but Mr watcache located the cache all the same after some hunting around the area. log has been signed and cache placed back where we found it, thank you for placing a cache here a nice area to come and visit. No luck for me either

Thx for the updated note regarding the variance from GZ. Went back this evening hoping to avenge the previous DNF. Cache was exactly what I expected, but it was still a strain on the eyes and the fingers to find it , now that the kikuyu has overgrown so much of the fence line. My GPS indicated it as being 14M away from GZ.

The cache is there, If your looking at the fence its about 15-20m to the left of where the GPS indicates. I forgot to take a gps when I checked on it to get better co-ords

Been here twice recently. First time was very late in the evening, so thought I may have missed it in the twilight. Came back today mid afternoon.

Had a pretty good idea what I was looking for after straining my eyes at other caches, but was unable to locate it this time either. The fence beside the corn looks to have been worked on, possibly since the last recorded find, so I wonder if the cache is still there....??

Nice view of the church though.

I have been caught by these nasties before I haven't learnt yet.. good hide and natural camo makes the strain even more difficult tftc

03-May-16
I have a love hate relationship with this one. Almost gave up and then said one more time. Widened search area even further. Found a suspect piece of equipment. Even then it took two checks to confirm my suspicions. Next was the tricky extraction. My father lives just up the road but we have always had so much else to do when we visit that I haven't got here until now. Thanks for bringing us here

Strained myself looking for strainers three found in small gz. TFTC

30-Jan-16
This was what I expected although we didn't instantly spot the hidey hole. We got distracted by other items that suited the hint. I've been wanting to tidy up this area of my map for a while now so I'm pleased with today's efforts. TFTC Smile

28-Dec-15
I'm up in my home town of Whangarei for the holiday period and headed out this afternoon for a few caches to pass some time. Decided to give this one a crack, as I was nearby. I knew from the hint exactly the type of hide it would be, but it still took a few minutes to find the tricky little cache, after going up and down the fence line looking for the desired object, my GPS put me 12m from GZ when I made the find. Signed the log to be the first finder for 2015! TFTC!

Hey living on 55 (just across the road) could I snag a clue please ?? First cache hunt Smile

20-Sep-14
Nice view of the church from where we parked near GZ. Looked first in the obvious spots, then widdened our search. Even though we have seen this type of hide before it took a couple of checks here to see the cache. Thanks.

An amazing little find. Deserves the best cache of our day ! Smile

12-Apr-14
Had a good hunt and think we deciphered the clue. Found a place where the cache could have been, but suspect it may be gone. (We could be wrong though)

27-Dec-13
Did not find this one will have to try again another day. Sad

(696) This one took a lot of finding. My GPS was a good 20 metre of target. And yes I needed my small pliers to extract it from its hidey hole. TFTC

Is this one still here? Looking at going past here Thursday or Friday and would love to find it but I see its only had one visit since middle last year and a DNF January this year so it could be gone??
Any chance of a cache check since it is near your home (as per cache listing.......)

After finally nabbing 'Who is for What', thought some repentance was due (and had time for another small detour before my appointment) so visited Church on Church. Didn't heed previous logs so had to retreat to the car for the appropriate tool, then it was easy-tweezie Big Grin

Out for the day with Tikitour doing my first 'hides' - but of course we had to do a few 'seeks' as well...
Well equiped with our tweezers and had good idea what we were looking for - thanks to those other 'trail blazers' it was a nice and easy drive by Smile TFTC

Nice sneaky hide. Just loved it. Great twizzer jobbie too. Yep the grass has formed a well beaten track for us to follow. Nice little church. tftf

Wow - well trampled track in the grass this morning - makes it way to easy to spot, may move it a few meters to avoid that

Headed out into the darkness as we were hungry for new caches. Drove past the gathering of people, did a U-ie and met some fellow cachers near GZ. No need for the 500,000 candle power spotty that we had as key-ring light found it with ease. Found at around 8 pm on a nice evening.Good to meet everyone in the pitch black darkness .TFTC.

Co-driver for butters* tonight manning the GPS, however wizzed right past GZ.Quick find once at the spot.TFTC.

Was having tea when we got the notification. Too close to home not to rush out.
So finished tea and left. Got there and realised we didnt grab a decent torch in the scurry, oh well. Found the cache and was inspecting it when the cache owner arrived.
Just before we left Butters and Kenny turned up. Nice to meet you guys.
