Very sneaky hide. We all checked there but obviously not well lol. Had to resort to PAF TFTC
I had a DNF on this 6 years ago and the area at GZ has changed since then.
It was a quick find this time but easy to miss.

Headed west today to explore around Warragamba and learn its history, after a visit to the dam itself we stopped here.
A beautiful memorial and the rosemary smells divine.

A late start to the day saw us gathering fewer caches than we had expected. We opted to explore the Warragamba region with our geofriends HubbyandMrs. We met up with them at the pub in Wallacia for a good feast before caching through the afternoon into the sunset.
5 out of 12

Honestly, I don't know how HubbyandMrs finds these ones, obviously my eyes just aren't tuned to these types of containers/hides.
Logging duties were done and cache replaced.

Spent a little bit of time here for the right and wrong reasons. The wrong was that there were too many bees but I eventually picked my moment and got the find.
Out and about with Happy Uke and our good friend Blueandgolder to day to try and catch up on some caches that need to be reported. So there was no time to waste and we all got busy doing what we do best.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Finally organised a caching day with Blueandgolder... and with Finalf29 driving the geomobile... we were a formidable team. Even with some DNF's, we all up found twenty eight. Fantastic day, wonderful company and great caches.
This was the thirteenth for the day. Blueandgolder bagged this sneaky little one. Lovely little park. Thanks

Out caching with ziggiau on this beautiful Boxing Day. We made the area around Warragamba dam unsafe and had a great time! All the best for 2018 for all the COs!
Quick find while ziggiau was reading the meaning behind all symbolism on the statue. TFTC!

Being surrounded by so much bushland on today’s cache run, was expecting the name to refer to a fallen tree but thankfully an easy trek from car to GZ and a quick spotting at the right angle.
Was good to sit back in the nice weather we had today. Took a few looks but after a bit we found it. Good hide.
Nice to recognise the many who built the dam in a time when worker safety was not as big a priority as now. The smell of rosemary is spectacular at this time of year and made the visit even more special.
Found -- 4:24:00 PM -- SL TFTH. Thanks for bringing us here to this location The Booos. Cache in good condition.
I took advantage of today's glorious afternoon to do get out and about with hubz and bubz for some caching. Have been wanting to seek out the Burragorang caches and then head into Warragamba to collect some caches there, one in particular. **Log Full**

Thank you for the cache. Log signed and cache replaced. *OCW Throsbyonchurch*.
Found this cache in a nice location, and signed the log book. Thank you for the hide, liked it. Catching up on some logs for the past couple of weeks.
#1320 First of ten quick finds on an afternoon out and about around the Dam. Log book is completely full. TFTC
#986 the previous time I came to this cache there was a show on in the hall opposite for school children and it was just finishing so didn't spend long looking. However the first place I looked was where the cache was signedthe log in the middle above someone else as there is no more room on the log. Thanks for the cache The Booos

05 September 2016 10:45:27 OK I hate cut and paste logs so will try my best to add a little something different to each log I post. Code 1 and myself were out on our annual caching run weekend. So some of our logs read both names but to save room on micros and nano’s etc we used CJ1. Like most of our past trips a little homework was needed to work out a suitable location, route and to build lists and PQs, with this done and set we found our self’s in the Camden location. A great range of finds and styles were located with a great deal of questioning over some of the posted difficulties and terrains.
JABs.
Found on a weekend invasion of my old romping ground with JAB's.
It's crazy to see how much the area I grew up in has changed over the years.
Nice and quick here with no muggles about.

Not a fan of caches so close to ANZAC memorials in towns, just feels like a spot that gets high muggle alert due to the significance. Had a very quick half-assed look anyway for few mins and came up short. With so few spots for hides i figured its well camo'd and wasn't keen to get too involved. Reading logs now, I probably looked where it was but wasn't trying hard enough
Will grab it next time.
Will grab it next time.
Today was my caching day for the weekend as yesterday I was busy with a huge charity event in Bondi. I he'd west from Greystanes to hit Luddenham, Wallacia, and Warragamba. Found 18 caches with a few DNFs. Thanks to the cache owners for placing the great caches. TFTC.
Went out with goingplaces2 to collect a few caches in the Warragamba area. Had no problems in finding this cache. We both signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thank you The Booos for placing this cache.
Caching with Phantom Cyclist was the order of the day again today. We decided to pick up a few caches around the Warragamba area where we have not been for a while. There were not many places that this one could be hidden so it was quite a quick find. After both names had been written on the log the cache was put back where it had come from. Thank you to The Booos for bringing us to a very well maintained memorial.
I had looked briefly before with no luck and planned a return search. Armed with a clue from the CO and WWs know how it was a quick find! Signed and returned. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. We arrived at GZ to find the place crawling with muggles. Well, we were also here for the ANZAC Day service so it was what we expected. After the service and a short lunch we did a few other caches and then we returned. As we approached GZ a family of muggles also came to look at the wreaths and take photos. We had an idea as to where to look but we waited for the family to finish. Our idea turned out to be correct and we soon had CIH. TFTC
Out with Trodectus, doing a few caches as in the area for ANZAC service. Knew this would be muggle central for the morning so we attended service and left for other caches far and wide. Returned as last cache to do, arrived GZ and as heading to look for cache, a muggle family also approach so we sat and waited for them to depart. Quickly had CIH and signed log and replaced. TFTC
Out for the day chasing a 5/5 with Lucky1955.
Another nice quick little find which we grabbed on the way to a picnic bench to enjoy our coffee. We had just replaced it when we were approached by a couple who said we looked strange. Hello Booos!
so after a bit of a chat & taking photos of each others TBs it was off to the next one. TFTC

Out with celtical for an afternoon of caching.
with a coffee in hand it was a short stroll to this cache, a quick find was made and we made our way to a nearby seat to sign the log and drink our coffees.

I spied the hide but let geobro make the find. Now it's time for a nap on the drive home.
I could have kept caching until the sun went down but everyone else decided that this was it for the day. A lovely memorial, thanks for bringing us here. Signed as dmaz to save space.
The geo-widow was having a girlie day in Penrith with her best friend today, so I came along for the ride and took the opportunity to do a caching run to Mulgoa and Warragamba. Like an earlier finder, I spotted a place that warranted investigation as soon as I got to GZ but like them, I initially came up with nothing. It was only when I returned for a closer look after exhausting other possibilities that I spied the hide. Thanks for bringing me to this special place Booos, and for the smiley too.
