Despite the early midday heat I decided to go for some caches . So I walked the mostly shady path close to Lake Joondalup southbound for Ocean Reef Road. After struggling at "Big Blue: The Key" all the following caches could be found without problems . I solved this one yesterday evening and fortunately it fitted just perfectly into my tour [:o)].TFTC
This was our first puzzle cache. Lots of fun solving and a beautiful morning walk. TFTC
A nice quick find here, though not so quick with the puzzle. After not being able to get the right numbers and several attempts to find the way, I called a PAF who showed me where I was wrong so I could finally put this one in the smiley pile!! Thanks for the puzzle and cache
Solved the puzzle a long time ago. Found the cache today on a cache run through Joondalup. The last finder hadn't closed it properly and there were a family of cockroaches in the container.
Out and about again, north of the river today around the wetlands suburbs. Shoes and socks got wet at quite a few spots, and a couple I didn’t want to go knee deep in water.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today. This one was under water and container was fully filled with water - managed to get our names in using a power tank pen.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Again teamed up with the MIKS to solve this one while in the area, went the straight line way to get to the cache and was glad that the ground cover was thin.
Once at GZ it was a quick find of one of my favourite container to find.

Some unexpected errands north of the river gave me the opportunity to walk around Woodvale and grab a few highlighted (JASMER and Oldest in WA) caches on my map.
Mr Z enjoyed the walk about and managed to get a few swaps on the bigger sized caches.
A fun day out heading home with 7 finds, 0 DNF’s and 1 tick.

Thanks The Machman for placing Positively Pink for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 12:26 on 12/2/2022.
This is find number 4055 for me.

Thank you The Machman for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!
(I’m not a geologist I just like puns)
This was another cache that I’ve looked at over the years , but recently I found site that was more helpful . Thanks for maintaining the cache
Solved this one a while back. Stopped here on the way to a friends to make a nice easy find in a lovely setting TFTC
Catching up on some logs from caching runs with Barnzy12. Finally catching up. Thanks for the placement.
Have had this solved for a while so happy to make a quick find today.
Our favourite type of cache container.
TFTC The Machman this is find #8816 for us.

Nice quick find here as spotted on arrival. Loved the cute pink containers and the contents were safe and dry. Tftc and a nice simple fun puzzle enjoyed the walk on a cloudy day with my caching buddy Leana
Solved this cache many moons ago now, not sure why its taken so long to get here! Was in the area & decided to change that, enjoyed to GZ & spotted some roos relaxing nearby GZ They watched on as we found the well themed cache... Thanks The Machman
I wasn't 100% confident of my solution to this one, but was pleasantly surprised upon arrival at GZ thanks for the puzzle and the beautiful cache, Machman!
I was coming to this area today to pick up some nearby hides so clicked on the ‘?’ to see if I could add it to my list. Was pleased to find a puzzle I knew I’d like so immediately got stuck in Always been a big fan! Didn’t take long to put some numbers together and with a tick from the pink checker I added it to the GPS On arrival it was an easy walk to GZ as what had presumably been long grass until recently was now just patchy scrub. At GZ itself the container an easy find under some obvious camo. Loved the custom colour Made sure to cover carefully when replacing as it’s pretty bright! All ok here, everything is in great condition. Loved the puzzle (might have to find some episodes online now), and a nice easy find as well - TFTC
Used to love this show when I was a kid. Solved with lots of help from Dr Google and really liked the way the theme was reproduced throughout the cache. Have a favourite. TFTC The Machman
Enjoyable bit of research to figure out the coordinates. Cache was exposed so signed and covered securely. All good.
Fun cache and great area for cycling afterwards...favourite point.
Thanks The Machman

A fantastic Sunday for a bike ride with the geoson had us chasing down several hides that have eluded me in the past
Took a different route to this one following the roo tails through the bush, quickly spotted the brightly painted container once at Gz was a little out in the open so covered the hide back up.

Not sure why I hadn't signed the log or made this discovery when I was in the area with m4yb ages ago, but not a sign on my map so happy to join the southerners on this walk and hunt, great to make this find and such an unusual container, love the work and I loved the series as well.

A rare free day for caching. So hasty plans were put in place to meet WebblyWA & go track down some of our growing pile of solved puzzles.
Nice one. Worth a favourite I think. TFTC

Public holiday means no work and a day to empty out the solved puzzles pile with PommieParkin2. We left bright and early to escape the heat and travelled NOR on our holiday visas. We met up with NOR residents m4yb and megawat60 for the start of our puzzling adventure second stop here and a nice quick find. I have one thing to say - Positively Pink is exactly right! Cant believe its not even 9am and already warming up. TFTC The Machman all is in good order here.
Another one that I had solved at home. I loved the Pink Panther cartoon when I was a kid. I can remember harassing my parents to take me to see one of the movies. I think I was 8 years old. I was a tad disappointed after the first few minutes of the movie. It was quite a few years before I appreciated these fantastic movies.
A nice quick find at GZ thanks. A favourite point for this one just because I liked it.

Out for a 24km walk past the lakes with a non-caching (but happy to help) friend. We decided to do a few caches on the round trip. Solved this a while back, but was finally in the area to write in the log. Thanks heaps!
Found this one easily while night caching. I think this was the very first mystery I solved glad I got to find it
Solved the puzzle a while ago, and today I thought it was time to collect the smiley while I was caching in the area. Thanks for the puzzle and the really pink hide!
Another find during the puzzle outing with dimor. The walk was good, the quick find of the appropriate container was fun.
TFTC Machman, another one solved!

House sitting in Baldivis so I caught the train from Warnbro at 7.15am to meet M4YB at Edgewater to start out assault on a few puzzles. After at 63 minute train ride I was rearing to go
Having solved this many months ago I was finally in the area to find it . We parked as close as we could and took a beautiful stroll to GZ, passing muggles on the way
A quick find of the very appropriate cache, cute container inside too, we had a laugh

We managed to solve the puzzle, navigate through the scrub and survive the pack of wild kangaroos that were most suspicious of us! Tftc!
One more puzzle cache for the day with the Fabulous Panda. Enjoyed the walk through the bush, stalking the local roos. Great little cache. TFTC. ☺
Great puzzle and nice container, found with my little girl who loved it! Added several pink items as the cache was almost empty. Thank you for the cache The Machman, it gets a favourite point from us!
a big couple of says planned in the Swan Valley with Jinta29. we had set up at the caravan park and devided to head out and grab a couple of caches tonight.
We headed up this way to unknown NOR territory.
It looked nice and clear on the map. But the long grass that greeted us was not inviting. ah well onwards and upwards.
The 50 ish metre walk in was fauna free and we made the quick find.
The Machman I found your cache Positively Pink on 12/11/2014 9:06 pm. This is my find #2201 and find #3 today. The cache is in good shape. Thanks for the cache!

A short walk through the long grass (at night) had us a little concerned but we got the log signed in end a neat puzzle that I had solved find time ago but not been in the area until now
kyzabra and i were up in this neck of the woods for a couple of days seeing how our NOR friends hide caches. we had a plan to grab some night caches, a few series and a few older ones a bit further out. this one was on the list. thanks for the cache and thanks fir bringing us here.

Spent much longer on this one than I should have but once I realised I hadn't changed the NW bearing to SE the geochecker gave my original co-ordinates the thumbs up. Another great mystery cache by The Machman to bring up my 250th find!! The added bonus was when I ran into the olthomas duo out on their bikes having just logged this cache (what are the chances of that on a Thursday morning??) so I was also able to have a good chat with them. The whole journey this morning from finding the co-ordinates to finding the cache and the walk and chat in between has been a very enjoyable experience. Now, back to work
Quick find on a bike ride picking up some recently solved puzzles. This container is shockingly good. Was very exposed on arrival so tried to cover it up a bit more to save the local kangaroos' eyesight. As an added bonus we bumped in to the ever charming ask277 just after emerging from the bush. Thanks for the puzzle and cache!
TFTC! Up to Perth for a weekend with friends and family, with a small side stop to attend the event in Sorrento to claim the last of my 7SOA. Thanks
Solved the puzzle - love the Pink Panther! Took the geopuppy for a nice walk and located the cache spot on coords. Was very Pink! TFTC...
Out on a damp day to pick a few caches in the area and teamed up with Branzy12 ,solved the clues to make a quick find...nice cache..TFTC
Found it with my liitle bro Anonymouse. That was his first geocaching hunt and he was so happy. TFTC
We (BettyBoo3747 and I) had solved a pile of mysteries in the months preceding our trip. Today we spent a bit of time seeing if we had got some of them correct.
I think I have seen most of the films, and a few of the cartoons. Some of the clues I could guess, but I resorted to Mr Google for the rest.
A bit of a walk to GZ toady as we kept trying to use paths!
All very pink here!
Thanks, Robmc.

# 6190. Today Robmc and I decided to visit a lot of the puzzles that we had solved prior to our trip. I thought it would be some nice easy suburban caching - how wrong can you be? I was wearing shorts and soon had to resort to sockovers but the scrub is certainly scratchy stuff over here. Not sure why so many great puzzles finish with long walks along sandy tracks and through thick scrub.

A nice little puzzle. Yes it was pink, very pink! A cute touch. If we had known how far we had to walk I would have ridden the little pink bicycle that was in the pile of rubbish on a nature strip nearby. I could have left it at the cache as SWAG. We noticed some kangaroos watching us from the distance and also the beautiful banksia flowers. Looks like a good bike track through here.
Thanks The Machman

Woooo! Our first puzzle cache. Solved the puzzle a number of days ago with some nifty internet research and went on the hunt today. Took us quite a while to find the right spot, but a relatively simple find once we did.
TFTC; SL - really hoping to get more puzzles done in the future.
Took the TB dog tags - our first trackable also. Such a good day out!

After meeting JacobsCrew at the last event, we decided to do a caching run together.
With a couple of emails, the location was decided. So with an early start, we headed for Joondalup.
We had a great day, with a good variety of cache hides and managed to find most of them.
Enjoyed doing the puzzle, and with lots of research on the internet, we came up with a new set of co-ords.
T: N, L: pink bobbles.

I teamed up with The Drovers today to do a full day of geocaching today and we managed to put 71 smileys on our list today with a number DNFs on the way too. It was a pretty hot day today and that was going to be factor in the time we finish today. It was a fantastic day and I enjoyed the company of The Drovers. We all had turns in getting the finds and had a few periods of DNFs which made it tough going at times. It was a nice walk seeing the Roos taking cover in the shade.. Quick find with the final..Dropped TB.TFTC

Urch was already up in Perth, so I jumped on a train and we met up at Stirling Station. From there we headed northwards. Another puzzle that I had solved some time ago, so was happy to find the cache and earn my smiley. An yes, it is Positively Pink. Thanks Machman
I love this character and knowing I was about to make a rare visit to the northern climes I worked on some puzzles in the area, and this was one of them. Took a more difficult route than needed initially to solve it but with a little nudge was able to extract the required coordinates and convert them to a yellow smiley face today.
A great themed puzzle and cache, The Machman, thanks a lot. Left my pathtag.

Solved this some time ago. Luckily I was nearby this morning doing an Austrackers FF series cache so dropped in for a quick find of the pinkest ammo I've seen!!
Thought this a good spot to drop of my freshly minted SpatialRiq pathtag. Gave it a fav simply because it now houses my tag. TFTC Machmam!

I solved the puzzle for this cache a little while ago, and today I came to find the cache. I was a bit unsure about the last 40 or so metres, but took the plunge, and made a quick find at GZ of a very cute container! I took the two travel bugs in there, and left the Ford Escort TB.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Machman!

Solved the puzzle some time ago and sent the two geo-hubbies off in search of gz while Mrs iluvtrekking and I planned our next few caches. The boys loved the very apt container.

Good fun the puzzle. Pretty colour ammo - look cool - no swap. Signed the log. Thanks The Machman.
Very pretty; my favourite colour, although I've never seen The Pink Panther. You outer northern folk seem to love the long itchy grass and spiders....us urban wimps not so much. Thanks for the well constructed puzzle and cache The Machman; the pink flowers surrounding GZ were a nice touch.
Solved it remotely to gain some much needed practise.
Interestingly, frustratingly, I had worked it out correctly the first time, but must have typed it incorrectly into the Geo-Checker. That sent me on extreme tangents and goos... panther chases.
Hopefully I'll get to the big smoke to sign the log soon.
Thanks very much, Machman.

[size=4][pink] Didnt see this cache published. Today Mrs Felix was at home waiting for Mr Felix to return from a maintenance run and this cache came to her attention. Google came out to assist but it took 3 different ideas before Check Pink finally confirmed they were right.

Headed home after the IGD event at Neil Hawkins Park and after finding a few fabulous Blue caches, had our lunch and then sat down to solve this pink puzzle.
Didn't take anywhere near as long as we expected and "Check Pink" gave us the thumbs up on our first attempt.
We hopped in the car and drove back down to where we had been earlier and made a quick find at GZ.
Retrieved a TB, dropped a TB and a GC and left a pathtag.
