I couldn’t believe it when I found it with all the previous DNFs on this cache. The cache is very well hidden and I found it after walking that hill. I almost didn’t bother looking for it as I was tired and it was getting late. Pleased that I made the effort
Is it still there???
We could not find it anyway. But good luck to the next person…

Didn't find it on the way up. Had another go on the way down. Only found by pure chance as I stopped the color of container. Definitely not where I was looking.
Searched all around, then walked to the top and back and searched again to no avail. All we could find was rocks, more rocks and lots of attacking prickly bushes
Had a good look for this one, but didn't locate any likely hiding places. Eventually decide to call off the search and move on.
Coordinates led us to the spot, but may be buried under a recently felled tree. Recommend owner comes and inspects.
In Kurow for the long weekend and today's geoadventure started off with a walk up Kurow Hill. Plenty of snow on the hills but a beautiful winter's day and hardly a cloud in the sky! This was the first find of the day TFTC
Decided to make a trip to Duntroon over the Dansey Pass. Lots of logs to find and sign and this one was one of them. Day and it begins again. TFTC
I'm with spoonz2 who is back here with me to finish off what she didn't complete here last month. I'm here to do them all. This one was found quicker than expected.
This is right at the very beginning of the track. Good feeling to have one under the belt before really starting upwards. Mysterious name though, I have no idea what it's about.
Lots of scrabbling around in the many piles of rocks but we eventualy found it. Tftc.
Ever since arriving in Kurow 3 days ago I had promised myself that I would climb the Kurow Hill - after all there are 7 caches on it. Nice easy find as I started my climb. Thanks for the placement drawp.
Logged with GCDroid. Taking advantage of a long weekend and camping down at Aviemore. Snuck out for a bit of solo caching on a lovely day. Re-hid slightly as it was completely exposed. Tftc
Ninalila and I went for the walk to the summit of Kurow Hill with a muggle friend. We had nice views and a sunny afternoon.
All the boxes were easy to find.
We signed the logbook with our team name : lekiprokos
Thank you for the cache and the discovery

Looked at the more obvious spot before checking GPS and reading hint . . . then a quick find. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Somehow we'd missed this one when we headed up the hill the other day. Driving back past today so we stopped. Found with debsnz
A mid-winter ride down the A2O. Finished the day's ride early (Otamatata to Duntroon and a lift back to Kurow) so took the dog for an evening stroll. Most impressed by the range of noxious weeds such as barberry growing on the hillside.
I started looking too close to the track, like many of the others by the look of all the upturned rocks. Thankfully it didn’t take me long to realize my mistake. Thanks for placing this cache to tempt travellers out for a walk.
I was not able to search at the start of my walk, as several muggles came past and kept interrupting me. You can only have so many sips of water! So I decided to leave it for the time being, and attempt on return. The coast was clear now, and I made a quick find once I was in the right prickly spot TFTC!!
On day four of our A2O bike ride, now arrived in Kurow and off for a late afternoon walk. Still too hot really. Ouch those scratchy plants! Thanks drawp.
After doing some cache maintanance yesterday and placing a new one this morning. I thought it was a good time to grab a few more on my way through quick find took tbs tftc
I was on my way to Kurow to sign off a few caches on the way to and in and around the township. Time to get prepared for a huff and puff.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Today we drove from Omaru to Lake Takapo. On the way we pickup same caches and this one was one of it . An other great day in New Zealand with cool caches and many nice spots.TFTC
Found on way to Waimate. Was going to go up the hill but it was way to hot for me
Easter weekend and a trip South to do the Alps to Ocean bike ride from Mt Cook to Oamaru. Day 5 and 4th day of riding, despite sore legs from yesterday
Not quite what I was expecting to see initially, but soon cottoned onto the clue.
We didn't have time to walk the track but we stopped off briefly for this cache. The junior dakotacat found it easily, the hint was cool. Cheers drawp.
Found with Chosen1978, Quickly located and signed, Phew!! it was hot today. Chosen dangled the tootsies in the water race nearby.
Kurow market day - nice and sunny, more stalls than last year and good food. What more could you want. Answer: a cache so we went and got one. No time to walk the track today though. TFTC
Found as part of a great day in and around Oamaru. Still reckon this is the best caching area I have ever encountered. Original standard set by Bitsprayer, but now a few others adding to the story. Many thanks to all!
Had to give this a miss on way up kurow hill as walkers were about. Then it was raining quite heavily so thought I'd come back after the next mission of the day,( deep stream walk),. Well a change of clothes and a couple of hours later GPS took me straight to it. Tftc
Met a local nice young man who was fixing the track, told him what we were doing so he was into helping us and to his delight he found it. Hope to do rest of the walk when we return to this area. TFTC
Was a nice and sunny day. So we decided to come to Kurow and do the walk and some geocaching there. Found together with PurpleDragonFire. Visited by TB453N7. TFTC
Today was it dry and sunny so perfect day for a small hike.
So i decide to go up to the Kurow Hill.
The beginning was easy but at the end i need a rest.
