Out for a Easter 4x4, collecting a few caches along the way
After the disappointment of the fire damage at ridges I continued along the trail towards cockatoo. With my hope increasing as the fire damage was decreasing I arrived at gz only to find the only pocket of fire damage was the tree the cache was hidden in. Found the remnants of the log, but once again unfortunately had nothing to replace it with.
Sorry about the cache team layabout but thank you for bringing me out to this wonderful location
Still worth a fav point for the adventure

A hard walk in with the soft road, fallen trees and nettles, but a good workout TFTC
Excited of having found the Ridges cache, I walked a bit further to find this one,
I had the pleasure to meet 2 kangaroos on my way...
easy to find, TFTC !!!

Had driven up to Yanchep to meet up with Felix to make an attempt on the recently
replaced "Everest" Cache in their 4WD.
After finding it they kindly offered to give me a helping hand to reach the
other nearby caches that are only accessible by 4WD and foot.
Drive to within about 500 hundred meters of the cache and then joined the walk trail to GZ.
Cache easily found on arrival.
Cheers for bringing me out here. Great walking trails.

Found it during a welcome break on a looooong hike from Yanchep via Ghost House and the Coastal Walking trail. Glad it was a quick and easy find. No pen so made my mark in the log. TFTC
Legged in from the closest track and found it quickly. There was no writing stick in the cache so we had to use a finger blacked with charcoal and signed the log ILT. TFTH
I was heading south from the previous cache when I decided that I would do this cache and headed up one of the many tracks to a point north of it. I then walked through the bush to the cache and after finding it continued up the walk trail to the next cache nearby.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Took a drive up there with Snapper1head. Have to let him have the 'Second to Find' honours because he actually spotted the cache.... We drove as far as we thought we needed to and then had a little bush bash, but found the smaller track better to walk down on the way back. TFTF
Nice little drive into this one. STF took pirate TB.Found this with team superslueth.TFTF.
Woo Hoo saw this cache launched and decided to check the map and see how close we could get on the lazy cachers route! Hmm doesnt look too bad. so after spending perhaps 40mins on the computer checking google maps and our other GPS mapping software we were ready to head out into the dark rainy night! Arrived safely some 500mt from the cache to walk in. Had the cache in hand at 1910hrs for **FTF** very chuffed with ourselves after being pipped at the post last night. Hmmm getting home seems to have taken a while longer. Something about having to do a safety check of the vehicle making sure the jack worked!*???[:o)] Hmmm Seem to have gotten home some 3 hours after leaving home. Oh well, still a great time, thanks for the night 4x4 and night caching experience.
