it will be a while before I can get there, so it will be replaced with a new cache at some point in the future.
This is within the bush fire area and may have been burnt, certainly a no go zone for a while.
I had joined forces with the Whitemushroom and Bisygisy to find a few caches along the Tableland. They had ditched me before I tackled this one.
The find was relatively easy, but the walk in was very soggy and slippery along the track.
I took the trackables with me.
Thanks for the cache.

Found on beautiful misty mountain morning. Came to drop off book of kells geocoin. Which wants to go to places with a sense of endlessness. Will have to return myself to see the view. Thanks roger3w
Rainbow serpent was obvi here many eons ago. Tftc. Wat a great place, def gets a fav point
Nice spot, I possibly could have driven a bit closer I was more confident of my 4wd skills but the walk was good too. The rock ledges are really interesting here, seems to be almost rounded in places or shaped like a coiled snake. Great spot for a cache. Favorite point from me today.
Great views, scratchy heathland plants, stick to tracks or walk across open rock, watch out for thin breakable rock.
A great cache, thanks

Early morning grab, sweeeet! I love being up in the Mts, coming along the tableland and looking into the valley makes me a very happy camper.
Thanks Roger

Sometimes when I tell people about geocaching, they simply ask me: "But why?"
Why? THIS GEOCACHE is why!

A quick and easy find at a deserted location, unlike many of the other lookouts around on such a beautiful Sunday. Thanks rogerw3 for the cache
Rated: for Overall Experience
Spotted the geotrail to the cache easy peasy. What a wonderful view for a cache. Wear long pants...oh those Mountain Devils! Ouch!
I'm afraid of heights and was dreading this one, but there is nothing to worry about, apart from the robust plant life that scratched the heck out of my legs. An awesome view was found along with the cache. Wear jeans!
Found at 1005 with a friend.
Awesome little spot, out of the way and a great place for a picnic!
Cache is all ok, ziplock bag doesn't seal, but still completely dry inside.

Was in the area doing the first wapoint of a nearby multi with whitemushroom. Nice simple walk from the main track through a smallish side track. Enjoyed walking across the rocky areas. TFTC.
With bisygisy with a deferred seek for Kedumba, and collecting WP for nontrivial #2, this Cache (accidentally deleted from the Garmin when here a few days back) was chosen as a light refreshment.
Off the main track down a gentle slope, some scrubby growth and open rock on way to a GZ with a grand vista. TFTC

Nice view. The Roulettes wet flying for the blue mountains centenary crossing. Sun was out. Awesome.
Great views from GZ, this is truly an amazing part of the world.
Thanks for this great cache.

Had a great day out in the Blue Mountains. Even on a hazy day from hazard reduciton it is a fantastic place to visit. A few meters from the highway and you are in a different world of quiet. Love it. Out with 3/5 of the pemal mob and a few more under our belts. TFTC.
Got a bit scratched getting to and from the cache. Views were outstanding. Could easily see the Three Sisters. Looking at Mt Solitary took me back to 2008 when I made the hike out to find Solo Man Re-loaded and Point of No Regard.
Note to self - wear long pants when caching with Dad
Great views, will be back just for the lookout.

Parked car near the gate and walked it, at one point we noticed a little 'cachers track', decided to follow the main track to see if it turned back (It didn't), in going the extra 100M or so we were rewarded with some really nice rock formations, (Including a little cliff top rock pool to splash round in) from there it was an easy rock-hop back to the cache. Never ceases to amaze me how many Lookouts are out there, that are so much better than the main stream 'on the beat' Lookouts! Great spot though can only imagine how much better this one would be without the heat haze.
Thanks for the cache, which is all fine and dry.

A nice and easy find, was going to drive most of the way, but not my car to scratch up, so we parked and walked the short distance and enjoyed the very blowy views.
Found at 2:47:00 PM after a walk along the track and then along the rocks. Its good to see a decent size container in the mountains
Another lovely view with crazy powerful wind. We really enjoyed caching in this beautiful area. Thanks to Riblit and Team Webguy for bringing us up here.
It was a sunny but very windy day when we made our way to GZ with its great views over the valley below and the escarpment yonder. It was already a cold day and the wind drove the temperature even lower. It would be a lovely spot to visit on a warmer day when one could spend more time to enjoy the views, but it was too cold today. Left the Boos Dads Ass TB and picked up the Santa coin. (In the interests of Geosportz we took the necessary photo for one of the requirements.)
TFTC great location. Thanks for taking us to such a beautiful place.
Thank you for making caching more interesting by placing this cache. Clear cold day great view with coffee. T TB L TB

Reperio at 1230.
After passing by this one earlier in the day on a mission to find an unfound multi, I returned when the weather had cleared up a bit, and it was not only a nice little stroll, but once again, the view was fantastic. Always look forward to finding one of these caches in this series.
Gratias rogerw3.

Hey roger- liked this great little cache! Thanks for the pleasant walk and as always good views.
Bikerbuddy had got FTF on this way back in May last year, so since we were nearby we went there with him and the boys to cross this one off the list. Like the nearby Kedumba, it was a pleasant walk out and great views across the valley. Garks held back, and this time it was me who made the easy find. Thnks rogerw3 for another great walk on a beautiful autumn day in the Bluies.
Shared cache with a little snake sunning itself nearby. Views were sensational and it was great to stretch our legs after so much rain. TNLNSL. TFTC.
lots of interesting animal poo. couple it be yowies? view limited by fog, but still a great walk.
Found it!
Found while checking out a few in the area. Stunning location when the fog lifted a little. Thanks for bring us to this great place.

Great spot! Lived here my whole life and gave never been to this place! Took car left compact mirror. TFTC!
Loved the walk to the cache, but unfortunately we had to do it a bit too quickly as Monch's septugenarian parents were waiting by the car - what's a terrain 2.5 for us is more like a terrain 6 for them!
Great spot and great views

A trip to the mountains isnt complete without a Rogerw3 cache and with this one being near my own I knew the views would be spectacular.
I sat and had lunch with this magnificent vista in front of me.
Thanks

We almost didn't attempt this one due to the squall and hail that arrived for the second time for the morning. We were already wet and cold so decided to attempt it anyway. We enjoyed the walk to GZ and some amazing views to enjoy as well. TFTC, the cache and contents are fine. [1129]
I was out on the trail bike today and thought this cache would be a good one to do on the way out too McMahon's Lookout. I managed to get the bike down there without a problem. Great spot for a cache. Thanks for the effort

I drive down the track a little but reversed back up, it was wet & boggy & I figured for the sake of about 200metres it wasn’t worth it. A nice walk had & as the fog was lifting a very good view was had, I’m enjoying the view3 caches as I get the time to complete them, thanks again for them. TFTC / TFTH / SL
My 10th find today on my way home. A sort walk down the rough track which I didn't drive on, thank god!! not recommended unless you have a 4wd. Another great spot with views which are a trademark of most of rogerw3 caches. TNLN... TFTC...
Doing a few caches today but picked the day it was blowing a gale. Took DVD left P.O Cruise coin.
A lovely afternoon to go exploring, and a gorgeous spot for a cache. We swapped a bumper sticker for a new toy car (Geoboy had been looking for a new sticker for the new car!) Thanks for the cache hunt, we enjoyed the views
I got a little excited and walked up to the end of the track... recommended! Nice rock pile, although not exactly where my GPS was telling me. I really enjoy these off-the-beaten-track locations. Thanks for bringing me here!
GREAT LITTLE CACHE

Joint FTF with Toriaz.
I'd bumped into Toriaz while doing Canary's new Hazelbrook cache, so we came up here to find this one. With the car parked not too far away, we headed down the track, through some muddy bits, and soon realised we had a short bush bash on our hands. Or in Toriaz's case, I think it was on her head, since she is adept at headbutting the bush as she falls over.
Anyway, at GZ the cache was quickly located. Second FTF for the morning. Thanks Roger!

Joint FTF with bikerbuddy. After springing him at the new Hazelbrook Bridge cache this morning, he told me about this other new one that I'd missed seeing come up, so we headed further up the Mountains to search for it together.
Short walk down the track, bit of a scrub bash & we found ourselves on a rock platform with some great views. And then quickly found the cache.
Thanks Rogerw3, I haven't been out this way before.

2TF! And my second visit to this wonderful spot in two days!
Yesterday I logged the new GCA Jamison and today, more than 161 metres away, I enjoyed finding Kedumba.
I took Mrs. pjmpjm along too, and she enjoyed it just as much the second time, and took even more photos.
Knowing this area pretty well, I decided to park the GeoBuru2 up by the communications facility, near the locked gate, and we walked part way down the driveway until we could bush bash less than 40 metres to GZ.
Alternatively, you can walk some 250 metres or less from where you park, down to the end of the track (near the GCA cache) and then make your way up along the cliff edge on the rocks, all the time taking in some of the best views in this part of the Blue Mountains. Just be a bit careful with the geokids around here. There are no guard rails and the cliffs are sheer.
Cache container was in great shape, with lots of swaps. TNLNSL.
Thanks again to rogerw3 for another geocache in this part of the Blue Mountains!
This memorable place deserves a 'favourite' and will now get one from me . . .
A highly recommended geocache.
