Mmmm, spent a lot of time here looking and although there were a lot of Autumn leaves I'm sure I was in the right place. Judging by previous two logs the cache may not be there any longer. Disappointing as it was a great spot. . I'll try again next time I'm passing through.
Looked for this on our way back from Stanthorpe. Could not believe how high the flood debris was in the trees. The bridge has been washed away and replaced by a causeway at the moment. This cache needs checking.
Had a good look around while geo-hounds sniffed around in the creek, but no joy for us. Perhas f we had read the logs more carefully beforehand ?
Been here once before when we came across a market at the nearby school, then walked the hounds down here and over that "cute little bridge" which is, alas, no more. Probably after the big rains a couple of weeks ago, but at present there is a low level causeway replacing the bridge
We'll be back...

Stopped off here for a short rest and as there was a cache near by we had to make our way to it. Gee the water seems to get up high around here. The cache is in great condition.

Found with stairman1. There had been a lot if water through here but the cache was nice and dry. TFTC
Found this while on our way to Stanthorpe for the weekend. Nice quick find by Mr Parko after parking very close to GZ. Thanks for the hunt Nikadoodle
Found it after a short bash thru the scrub. Couldn't help notice the flood debris high up in the surrounding trees and wondered what the CO does if he sees rain coming. TFTC, Bindair and The Princess.
Drove down closer to co-ordinates and parked at a lovely bridge where the creek it crossed was flowing and crystal clear, beautiful!! After a bit of bush bashing and many spiders' webs we found ourselves surrounded by a few trees that could have been the possible hidey holder!! We waited for compass to settle in the clearing and it pointed directly at the suspect tree. Geo11yrold found this one quickly as we all searched various sides of the tree. Great hide!!
after a bit of a search we finally found it. but with 4 people the search wasn't too long
A lot of GPS bounce in the early stages, but it seems we were at the right tree to start with, just the wrong hole. Suppose it helps when there are 4 sets of eyes.

On my way home to Gunalda today, after a very successful event at the Toowoomba Gathering yesterday.
An easy find, after reading the clue.
[:(!] Unfortunately this was to be my last find for the day, battries went flat in the GPS and it didn't want to work with the replacements. So be it.
All in good condition.

Out and about heading to Blackbutt for an Orienteering event all weekend. Great little place and we had to use some common sense for this one. Great hide and the cache is in good condition.

Out and about heading north with my sister, doscrapbooking.
I grabbed a TB from here and moved it on.
Thanks for the cache. It is in good condition.

Was surprised it was still there, it is postioned in a way that it was left intact through the flood that recently went through. We took the wrong track on the way in but still managed to find it. My son took the car and left a rubber, TFTC
Lovely spot beside the stream so I left TB Cache and Release Trout for a little swim. TFTC
Found it on our way to Perth via Alice Springs. Very interesting and clever hiding hole. TFTC Nikadoodle.
Finally located it! We'd had a couple of DNFs today so we were almost ready to give up on this one, when I suddenly called out "found it"! We'd searched high & low and were covered in dirt from the flood-mud. Nice little hidey-hole:) TFTC Nikadoodle
poked my stick in lots of holes in two trees but couldn't find it

We also took 30 mins to find looking in the 2 trees but in the end Michael found his 6th for today! He is on a roll. I had even poked my stick in the hides hole several times. Ahh well.... Was great fun TFTC
We were almost home from our 4,200km trip to the Oz Mega Event in Albury and back again via Echuca and Bourke when we were driving through Harlin and wondered whether there was a cache in town. Mr JAT had indicated it always bugged him when driving past whether we had found a cache in that town! So Mrs JAT pulled out the laptop and what do you know, there was a cache not 110m away. So we headed off, scrambled through the weeds and found the cache. We could see evidence of where flood waters had been and wondered how the cache had survived. There was a TB in residence which we decided to move along as it had been sitting in the cache for a few months now. Thanks for the cache Nikadoodle
A short detour from our intended route and we came across this little bridge.
I took the hike up the bank but couldn't locate the cache.
there are signs that the recent water levels have been well above cache height so I hold grave fears for the current location of the cache. It might need a CO visit to determine the current state.

After some hunting around we found our cache hidden in a totally different hidey hole, in fact in a totally different tree! Replaced in original hidey hole and added TB Tobik.
Found this one fairly quickly, GPS was bouncing around a bit, so we just did a quick search of all the likely spots. Still in good condition. Lovely little bridge nearby. TFTC!
Found on the way back to Toowoomba after dropping one of my lads at the in-laws who happen to live nearby

We didn't read the description properly and were busy listening to where the Garmin wanted us to go. We ended up a little way down the road in front of the cutest little bridge.
A scramble up hill and we soon had this one in hand.

First a memorial then a cemetery now a cache in an area that has seen so much loss. Not your average days caching thank goodness. Thanks nikadoodle
Looked a bit daunting at first sight but after breaking its first line of defence "Hidey Hole' was soon located - even with s GPS out by at least 16 metres.

Am amazed that this spot is a choice to hide cache in as one look at the soundings shows that it will be underwater next time that the next flood comes along.
Easy find first attempt GPS spot on. I agree with the previous log as the caches location is at least a couple of metres lower than the last flood debri.
Drifted down the path to adjacent GZ then legged it in....
Looks like a battle field here - so much flood debris all through the trees...
Took GPS a bit to settle down - had me at wrong trees originally then made the hyperlight jump & found correct GZ...
Still took a bit of scabbling but eventually located cache...

Stopped on the way home from a rogaine after a while and no success it got very painful after walking into a stinging nettle and the mosquitos got active.
This one took a bit of looking - but I eventually found it. I get the Empire Strikes Back reference - yes it does look a bit like that
I have posted up the co-ords that worked for me today. The cache is in good condition. TFTC Nikadoodle

GPS put me between two trees. One certainly had more hidey holes than the other. Only took 2 laps of the GZ to locate it TFTC
By the previous logs I knew this one wasn't going to be easy, and I was right, the gps was all over the place spent 30 minutes walking around in circles saying to my self others have found it - I can Too, tripped over the vines a few more times then finally I located the cache, signed log 3pm.

Thought I was going to have to give up on this one, but luckily I had my geomum with me She's become quite good at locating sneaky little hides [^] The geoson was also having fun poking around. I agree that the co-ords are slightly out and there are lots of hidey holes within a 5m radius On the way out we discovered the easy way . . . Doh!! TFTC!!
Quick find at 1600. Parked near the school fence and walked down the road towards the bridge. GPSr wanted me to take a left but the road was better than a little scramble up the road embankment. When we parked we saw a track going down past the toilet block towards the creek but gave this a miss. My GPSr was about 5m off GZ but the additional hint was spot on. If you approach GZ from the right direction then I agree with the difficulty and terrain ratings. TNLSSL TFTC.
We headed out for this one today not in the hope of getting a FTF, but there it was. We have taken the TB to move on. After last night's rain it was a bit muddy, I enjoyed a lovely slide in the mud, glad no-one was watching. T 1 x TB L N TFTC
Had our hopes up to be the first to find. But after being covered in mud we gave up. Good luck to the people after us.
Not sure the 2 star for terrain is correct. Would be very difficult for someone that isnt nimble.
Dropped off Luke Skywalker TB in Skywalker's hidey hole - that should keep Darth Vadar off his back for a while longer.
