This was a very pleasant walk along what could be a geotrail or an animal track that I managed to follow up from the road. The cache is in good condition and the log was soon signed. TFTC bubble & squeak
A enjoyable trek to get to GZ before quickly uncovering the cache. Interestingly there is a random sign about 10m from the cache, not sure who's gonna be reading that? TFTC bubble & squeak!
Lovely walk up. It’s quite pretty here.
What a wonderful day for walking up the hill. We left a car at the bottom near Hackett and drove around to start on the other side. An excellent idea as the closed gate has shifter about a kilometre up the road.
Signing as JACCS for Joolay, AngelG27, Contesta, Cas (Pantspeople) and Sebass19.
Thanks for getting me out and about bubble & squeak

Cache 10343 on 23 Jul 2023.
A small group (Pantspeople, Contesta, Joolay, Seabass and myself) meet on the flanks of Mt Majura for a mid-winter mad meander over and around the mini mount. There was definitely some madness and meandering going on, along with some exercise, so I call that a win!
Gorgeous CBR weather and blue skies forever!
Thanks bubble & squeak for the cache and the fun!

Making the most of the opportunity to duck out for a few hours of caching fun. Seeking out the occasional challenge or two, or trying to mop up as many solves as I can to keep that long list under control. Seems to increase faster than it decreases

Found with JACCS. Always nice to knock off a knoll. Cheers.

#3710 Made our way up from Wondrous Wall to reach this cache. Quickly located and all in good condition. Thanks bubble & squeak.
Another one done. Woo Hoo! I enjoyed finding this one at 4:07:36 PM.
I love the challenge of the geocache hunt - read the notes, decipher the cache requirements, and go searching for the hide. This is an amazing world-wide game of hide and seek. I love it! I also enjoy caching with my family, and meeting fellow cachers. It really is a small world when I read over cache logs and see names of my friends who have found caches around the country. Thanks go to bubble & squeak for making the effort to place this cache and maintain it. It's a great contribution to the Geocaching community and it is very much appreciated.
TFTC! Cheers. Jump Pilot

The GeoHound and I went out today to target the caches on the northern slopes of Mt Majura. A great day for a walk - slightly cool and cloudy, and no wriggling reptiles to be seen whilst we traipsed through the bush (perhaps my reptile dissuading gaiters are working? Glad I had them on, anyway.) although we saw lots of roos and a few wallabies.
Came here from the nearby cache NPS 003. Reasonably easy walking through the forest, and the cache was located without any issue. Thank you!

30th and last cache today on the way back to the car. 5 were sadly DNFs, I also planned to try and get a few more but was running out of time. Saw an Echidna right near GZ, was very cute. TFTC
Another day, another trek up Mt Majura, though with a different starting spot than last few times.... and I admit I didn't go 'all the way' to the top this time, but got to within about 150m.
I had done most/all (please let it be all) of the hides on the south and west of the trig, today was to get the ones mainly to the north/northwest.... including the mega meander.
There was a delightful chill to the air but not a breath of wind and a bright blue sky... perfect for caching.
This was a pleasant walk from the road on almost flat ground.... at least a lot flatter than the preceding terrain

I loved the lichen covered kurrajongs and the feel of this place.. it was even more mystical in the rain! Thanks for taking me here
We have arrived in Canberra early so that we are able to find a few target caches before the Clear Waters Mega Event at Easter commences. We have already managed to complete the 9th loop of our D/T grid on this trip so now our goal is to find some of the oldest caches that Canberra has to offer to complete some of the available geo art and work toward our 10th loop Fortunately we have been able to stay a few nights with one of the local caching teams and even better, they are located fairly close to many of our target caches [^]
We had an enjoyable time visiting various locations and mostly found each cache easily enough. With our name added to the log book, we continued on our quest
Thank you bubble & squeak for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

A bush bash/hill climb up Majura today saw a different approach, and such, a chance to collect a number of caches on the climb today
The Knoll was a first for us - as we normally come up the other way. Cache was found in good condition.
TFTC B&S!

2nd find of the day, spur of the moment decision so wasn't prepared with a pen to sign the log. Nice area off the track!
I headed off early for the Monday evening Omnia walk to Mount Majura which gave me three hours in which to seek out geocaches in that area that I hadn’t previously found, collecting 13 in all. I reckon that I explored most of the mountain and I came to appreciate the casuarina groves, the numerous kurrajong trees and the many fine views over the airport, North Canberra and Gungahlin.
This cache was a straightforward find, being in an obvious spot close to the coordinates. I hadn’t realised that this knoll existed. Thank you bubble & squeak for installing and maintaining this cache.

After not having exercise this summer due to house renovations I decided I'd challenge myself with Mt Majura. I love the hills round Canberra and am so glad to have markers in the form of caches to use to find my way around.
Well I must say that it feels really good to reach the top. Some of the trees are quite different arent they. Nice picnic spot.
Cache is in good condition.

A good view of the Majura radar from just South of this one. After the grueling climb up from Clancy's, I was pleased to see the road on the other side of the hill top. TFTC
Spending the last day of 2017 collecting caches. TFTC!
Phone GPS not so great here, so hint was a blessing!

Followed the path upwards along the wall. Someone has made a seat at the top of the wall out of a chopped tree, even carved a seat, was quite comfy. Nice to be at the top for a bit and a change of scenery with the different trees up here. Thanks for the cache B&S.
#2249 Spent 4.5 hours finding 20 caches today. Sunny 16 degrees. Parked at the gate and walked up. A quick find with The Banker as we walked through the easy scrub. SLTNLN. TFBUH bubble & squeak.
Wasn't going to get his one as I had to be time conscious. But as I followed the road up to another cache (75mtrs out) and noticed a perfect path and only 150mtrs away to this cache, I couldn't go past it. Love this area! This is the type of place I would want to place a cache. Tftc!!!
I took a lovely and just slightly precarious walk cross country from Majura Madness to here. The manufactured route would have been easier (after the first ascent) but where's the fun in that? This was also much prettier.
This is a lovely spot, with a strong and peaceful energy (despite the gunfire in the background). A beautiful place just to sit and just be.
A fave point for the energy. TFTC

I'd quite forgotten what a spiritual place this is ... quite odd.

Bush bashing up the back of Mount Majura.
Another nice place to rest for a bit.
Thanks.

A great day to be outside, wandering around Mt Majura. Let's find us some caches. Something ralaxing and refrehing about this spot. TNLNSL TFTC
An impromptu Sunday afternoon stroll seeing todays wonderful weather. I decided to head up Mt Majura and collect some caches of which I have needed to collect for sometime now.
Collected 14 in total, had 1 nasty fall which jarred by kneen so I'll be feeling that tomorrow thats for sure.
Continuing along my wander this one was quickly located, signed and replaced.
Thanks for the cache bubble & squeak [^]

One of my goals for today was to finish (finally) finding all of the NPS series. A quick find here on my way back down the hill. TFTC.

Found with Coybear2000 and Decrypter. GW was with us, but had found this one previously. Saw some of the kurrajongs in flower. Also saw some kangaroos and many an orb weaver spider spinning its evening web. TFTC
Found this one with Trodectus, trying not too walk through too many orb webs. TFTC
Knocking off the caches up here this arvo. Enjoying the view and the breeze.
Cheers GUIO

Nice easy cache here while we were having a nice walk up the mountain. Good location and cache in good condition too. Thanks for this one
Found with torrevieja at night. After trekking all the way up, down again must we go. What a lovely spot. Tftc!
Lovely and serene at night, found with Ariesz. Must bring her back during the day for another stroll.
Only my second cache for this afternoon, and already the light is waning. Oh well, that's what torches are for! TFTC - will wander over and see the 'interesting structure'...
Great hike up whilst completing another series close by.
Thanks B&S for bringing me out this way

Today was a sunny, windless Autumn day - perfect for caching. I have had my eye on Mt Majura for a while and this was an easy find. TFTC.
i walked up this hill again today to grab some GA's so I Thought I would get some GC"s and make a arvo out of it
Thank you Bubble & Squeak

Well look at that - I have now completed both glens and both knolls! The rain was easing off and I made a quick find at GZ. Luckily the up was mild compared to earlier in the day as I'm not sure my legs were up to handling much more by this stage! Thanks bubble & squeak
My 2nd ever. I walk this road almost every day, another added level of excitement!
A nice warm summer's day of about 29C. I've had Mt Majura mapped out for a while and have been doing it in parts. Today I parked the car at the gates of the Mt Majura summit road and took off on foot.
It was a long slog up here from Wonderous Wall II. Lovely spot up here & I had a bit of a break. Tftc B&S.

Interesting area. Approached it from down hill. Lots of cobwebs around to keep us on our toes (well ducking under them anyway!). TFTC
Accompanied with ALL7 for the day at Mount Majura... Beautiful scene and plenty see animals... Thanks bubble & squeak.
Accompanied with Everlasting... Today lovely cool and drive around to Canberra.. Thank
While my phone makes a pretty good cache finder, it is also a crappy compass. Zig zagged back and forth following the distance indicator without a clear direction through the bush. Finally found the cache but was unable to find the abandoned structure. Looks like the compass I got in last years kris kringle is as cheap as I thought. . But I made it to my third cache for the day. TFTC.
#2661 - 16:15; After a flying visit to Sydney yesterday and a morning of chores, it was finally time to make my way back up to Mt Majura to clear the last four caches I have remaining unfound there. Parked the geomobile at the finish line and was dropped off at the gate on the access road. Glad I didn't leave this mission too much longer as it got quite hot out of the wind as I made my way up the road. Once I crested the hill and headed down the western side, the breeze made things a little more comfortable. I had logged my first cache before heading back uphill to this one. The GPSr had the wanders, but I soon found the cache in the spot I identified on my approach. Log signed, I was off down the hill for number three. TFTC bubble & squeak
After dropping my eldest daughter off at work I decided to tackle some of the caches on Mt Majura. A nice little resting spot before continuing the climb up the mountain. A quick and easy find. TFTC
I had come across from 'Wonderous Wall II" to get to this cache. Why is there so many dead fallen trees around here? I saw some 'roos bounding away as I got to GZ. Thanks for a great cache.
As I had the week off from work I have been getting out and about grabbing a number of caches each day, today it was Mt Majura. As the weather was working in my favour, I decided to take a "stroll" up to the top of Mt Majura and grab as many caches were in the area. This was number seven for me today and a nice easy find. I quickly had the log book signed and on my way to the next one. TFTC - Docadoo
Up for a walk with team Maroon on the coldest morning of the year. Most beautiful day today. Thanks for bringing us up here.
A quick scramble north across the face of the mountain. Got easier the closer to cache we got.
Was a long slow climb straight up the hillside but the geo kiddies are still intact

What a truly stunning Kurrajong Forest here. This little spot was worth the walk and effort to get to GZ. The distance to Mt Ainslie is really not far, and yet you would never see a forest like this on Ainslie.
Trees and seed pods admired. Log signed, and then we continued a run down the road towards the Federal Hwy via another cache or two.
Thanks bubble & squeak
A favourite from us!

What better way to start Canberra Day than to assault Mt Majura, along with the sharp-eyed Marmaduke Rothschild. A 9km round and about for 17 caches. More off-track than on-track. TFTC.
Another find on my walk on the north end of Mt Majura. Quick find left a Pathtag. TFTC bubble & squeak.
I want to geta few more caches before the end of the year - except it's hot. I came in the morning - a good climb for a 70 yo. Thanks for the cache bubble & squeak
Bit of a crank up the hill, this area has some lovely trees, we startled some wallabies. Soon had log sized and on our way to the next one. TFTC
Found with J+J.au as we made our way up and back over the mountain. Interesting location. I would love to have a home here. SLTN..TFTC
