OHC needed to get some caches to fulfill a challenge so off we went, walking crutch and all. The new hardware was tested and performed admirably. This series is one that we have set out to try and complete today. GZ was good but we just weren't looking for this type of cache. Very sneaky. Thanks for the cache and for bringing us here.
I had a look for this one and couldn't seem to find it so I will replace it soon

Had us bewildered for a while. Then paid closer attention to size, hint etc. Soon had the cleverly hidden cache in hand and new log signed. Clue noted.
Thankyou SteMicMitSar for placing this cache here for us to find.

Got swooped by two magpies and couldn't stay for too long anyway – that most likely interfered with my focus. When I did get to searching at coordinates, I couldn't find it. I'll come back and try again someday soon, though.
We struggled in the first few minutes then stood back and looked and found it.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Ive been in and out of this park searching for this cache for so long and finally, with a helpful hint from cjfinda (thank you very much) ive finally found it after months pf searching! Tftc!
A nice quick find this afternoon, have looked for it before and been unsuccessful but clearly winter is the right time of year for this one TFTC Remembered to grab the clue too!
After seeing other catch up to me in the unlove challenge I knew that I had to go out and get a couple more caches before I go back to sleep and this was one of the required caches. Parking nearby the cache was easily found as the camo used is now a bit redundant. Anyways it was a nice little cache that i did in the night and cannot wait to go out and do some more in the area. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.

Last cache for the day as we the weather had turned nasty . Took a little searching but soon found the container. Didn't realise it was part of a series so missed the clue. Will have to PAF for when we come back.

It was late. It was dark. And it was now very wet. Rain had set in.
Police had blocked off my route to GZ due to a nasty car accident. Got a suspicious look from the sergeant when he advised me to take Boundary Rd instead and had no idea where it was... It was only when I told him I was from Vermont that his demeanor relaxed with a knowing smile and a condescending nod.
Soon arrived at GZ in steady rain and read my mission briefing in the car.
Find a camo bison, it said...
It'll be fun, it said...
In the hour or so I was scratching around in the dark with a small bedside torch (maintaining discretion even though no one in their right mind would be up at this hour, in this weather!), my GPS lead me on a merry dance of confusion. My fingers pruned up from all the searching of wet things and rain soaked through the bottom of my jeans on to top of my socks and into my hiking boots. But all that was forgotten in that gloriously sweet moment of discovery!
Did my best to keep the log dry as I signed and noted the clue.
I was a happy man as I squelched my way back to the car. Thanks SteMicMitSar, for a good challenge which I made much harder than it needs to be. One step closer to the final...

Found this cache while out and about. Great camo, nice new dry log.
Thanks for bringing us here SteMiicMitSar.
Thanks for bringing us here SteMiicMitSar.
The original log is a mess- but a new piece of paper has been added for logging purposes...TFTC...
I have finally got around to replacing the log in this one with the clue on it, that should keep it going for a while.
If anyone has found it and could not read the clue, please send me a message so that I can give it to you.

Nice park area that you wouldn't know existed.
The log was in many pieces and the clue is not clear.
Thanks SteMicMitSar.

This was my second attempt at this one. With a fresh set of eyes I was able to make a quick find today. It was certainly well camouflaged. TFTC
Found whilst out riding with 4bait , mark9375 and our newest recruit luctina. Nice hide but watch out for bullants! . TFTC
Nice find while out riding with Geogljill-11 and mark9375 and luctina but beware there is a nest of hungry bull ants and they thought luctina was pretty tasty note to owner log is full and needs replacment have put a bit of extra paper in for now TFTC
Found it after not trusting erratic gps. Nice hide but log book is trashed and couldn't get coordinates to next cache. Had fun though.

After our adventure at Gotta Find A Cache # 1 we headed over here for the last piece of the puzzle.
Searched high and low for 20 minutes.
Finally found the cache on the ground within one metre of GZ.
Needs a new log. Hopefully the information we found was correct, time will tell.
Replaced where the hint suggested it should be hidden.
Thanks for the series SteMicMitSar.
Just the final left to be found...

I think I may have approached this one on foot some months ago but found the park teeming with maintenance workers. No such problem today. As others have mentioned the log needs some attention. Hard to find a place to sign and the clue is very hard to discern. Thanks SteMicMitSar!
Found tonight on this wet and windy night, only nutters out tonight no muggles. TFTC
IMPORTANT (no spoilers) when you open the cache, be very careful as the log is very ruined. The clue has been ripped in two but BOTH PIECES ARE IN THE CACHE. Don't lose the pieces and do a bit of a jigsaw puzzle and you'll get the clue.
we found it but we could not sign it>:( it needs a new log. some idiot stuffed it in the container
Pretty much knew what I was looking for, but it took quite a time to find.. thanks..!!
Took us about 15 minutes to find. It's a bit higher then an adults eye level. Great find!
Took a while to find. Eventually found by mu daughter lying on the groubd in plain site. Placed a little higher.
Log book is quite tatty and a little damp...feels like it may rip apart soon. Tftc

Great little park, our boys 1st find today will get some more in this series TFTC
We found this one just over a week ago but forgot a pen as was a surprise opportunity. Took a pen on a return visit yesterday, knowing where to look and the ground had been re mulched and the geocaching had disappeared. Had a very good look too:(
After a lot of planning it was decided that we would attempt to find all the caches between the Mordialloc Creek and the Patterson River today which we archived with the exception of one where diners were sitting a couple of metres from GZ and were watching what we were up to.
Leaving Geelong at 7.30 we were caching up here with my good caching buddies the suscoe's an hour and a half later. As Ross has stated this was our 27th find and we ended up with 32 finds for the day and no DNF's except for the one we decided to give a miss to as described above.
We have turned the corner and now heading back towards Geelong.
I don't know where it was hidden originally but it now higher than where we found it.

Suscoe's 27th find of 32 for today as we wandered this area in the very good company of our mate Bushfire.
An early start from home got us here in good time and a beaut day emerged with lots of sun and a pleasant breeze blowing in from Port Phillip Bay.
The day was fast disappearing on us as the late afternoon arrived.
A quick look here revealed nothing.
In the end the Red Ant suspected the previous finder hid it where they found it and so it was.
With the log signed the cache was popped back a little higher.

Found with my mum on an adventure to Edithvale. Lots of bushes to choose to look in but we found it on the ground. TFTC!
Find #332
This is the last of the traditional caches I needed for this series. We had picked up two already today so another playground and set of swings was needed to keep Geobaby going. Luckily this location provided that and a muggle-free time to hunt for this cache. Good job too as it didn't come very easily. We must have spent 10 to 15 minutes here, used the hint, rechecked the coordinates and generally scratched our heads. Then all of a sudden there is was after all. TNLNSL and noted the required clue. Only need the night cache now and I have worked through some of that already (before being thwarted by a flat torch battery) so it shouldn't take too much more (famous last words). Looking forward to closing out this series as it has been great fun. Thanks for the cache stemicmitsar.

Hoping it was not among the massive wasps nest we found instead. Will try again another day:(
I've spent 4 nights on the Mornington Peninsula and today it's time to head back to Wodonga. I decided that I would collect a few caches on my way to Melbourne. 26 for the day, thanks to all the COs for placing the caches in the various locations. I will return to look for more in the area soon.

After being muggled out at #1 in this series I drove by here to find an empty park. So quickly got to GZ and searched before anyone could spoil my fun. Searched the wrong place for a while until I thought I should try the next one and bingo! Grabbed clue and signed and replaced the log just as some parents and kids were coming to use the nearby equipment. Another in the series done! Thanks stemicmitsar.

Find #850
My caching partner Stemicmitsar and I teamed up again tonight and headed to Williamstown to complete the Q Challenge cache. I was still three finds short and so we stopped at three qualifying caches along the way so that by the time we got to Williamstown, I would have the necessary finds to my name.
This cache was near another that I needed so Steve kindly stopped to allow me to make the find.

Really need to look hard for this one. Found it within about 10 minutes. It's deep within.
Since everyone else seemed to be going to boxing day sales, all the more reason to go caching so there's less muggles.
Since this was re-enabled recently I thought I'd come and grab this and number 1 in the series together. No one in the park which again made my search easy and after a couple of minutes I came up with the find.
Only the really hard scary night cache left to get in the series now.
Thanks for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Find 07 of 11 for the day and #1506 in total.
No container left here, just the Log book. Going to mark this one as found because, well, signed the log book...
Attached a photo of what we found.
Echo 3 - Spice 4
("\(0o0)/") Thanks for the caching fun!

TFTC... Quick easy find. Enjoyed another park, first time visit. No muggles on Sunday arvo, apart from some kids at the park with there Dad. TNLN.
Went to this cache today hoping to retrieve the trackable. Unfortunately it was not in the cache.
it was also not positioned as close to the co-ordinates as I would have thought?
Three happy boys though at the end.

Out caching in the area today with Pea bear & this was first on the list. The cache was quickly found in this lovely little park. Thanks Stemicmitsar for the caching adventure.
On a caching mission with BorisB&Natasha and this was #1 of 16 finds for the day. Great little park here and was very grateful there was not a muggle in sight. Nice quick find. Took TB. Thanks to stemicmitsar for the cache and for bringing me here.
After finishing a job in Edithvale I had some time to waste so I grabbed four cache, this was the forth. Sl Thanks stemicmitsar for the cache. dropped a tb
The second in the series ticked off the list for me. The park was very dark and quiet this evening. Once again good coordinates made logging this find a breeze. Cheers more the cache
This one is quite near to where we moved our son's girlfriend so in between lifting furniture and the like I managed to grab this one. Actually it was while we walked to pick up her kids from school that I diverted to this.
Thanks stemicmitsar.
Thanks stemicmitsar.
There was nobody around tonight, so we could have a good look around. The cache was in the first place we looked. Signed the log and and returned. TNLN. Thanks.
