Logs
Great easy ones for newbies! The log and while cache are very wet and require attention. TFTC
In the middle of a busy time working many consecutive nights at the Packhouse I needed a quick find between sleep and back to work. Plus I needed to walk Tama the geohound, so this off-leash area seemed perfect with its P&G cache. Certainly I wouldn't let 'bird dog' Tama off the lead here. Duck shooting season started last weekend so there's lots of resting waterfowl here... but no parrots! TFTC
Over in Tauranga for the afternoon riding the trails around Cambridge Park and picking up some of the caches that have been beckoning for a long time. On our way home we decided to get this one and have a love smilie face map of the area. This was a nice wee park with no parrots but lots of Canada ? geese on the pond. Is that where they are all going when they fly over our house in the morning, heading north. Then they all seem to fly back south in the afternoon. Confused geese. Lol.
Thanks NZFlossy.
Thanks NZFlossy.
Big cache bummer it was empty. Great condition. Will bring more treasures next time.
found it but unfortunately it was way too wet to retrieve the cache ( i don’t live here so will have to come back another time ) but TFTC )
Visiting in the neighbourhood for the weekend. Went after this one early but made hard work of it. I followed my GPS too closely instead of looking in the obvious place. Thanks for the cache.

Nice quick find and the cache was lovely and dry.
Lovely park and it is nice to see children and dogs playing together.

Visiting Tauranga today for a work meeting and managed to arrange my day so that I arrived early enough to grab a few caches beforehand. Very grateful that there were no muggles near GZ when I got here. Nice hide - wish I'd brought some TBs with me, I didn't realise it was going to be such a big container. Still, now I know where to drop some TFTC.
Small green container is actually in a slightly bigger container of a different colour. Easy and fun find. Thanks.
Checked on cache and returned where it should be and tidy up - all ready to go. Good to have the work in the area all finished
Easy find. Nice relaxing park. A girl reading on the bench and a couple of dogwalkers were the only muggles around besides the ducks. The log so soaked so couldnt sign it. I didnt have anything with me either to replace it. Tftc
Will get out there next week to do some maintenance - sorry should have done before this.
House hunting and geocaching go hand in hand! Came to an open home too early so had a walk around the lovely little park. Was a lovely cache to find with nana and the kids. Thanks!
3263 Arrived at GZ to find quite a bit of water lying around. Then I noticed that Polly had fallen off the perch and was acting more like a duck by bobbing around on top of the water. This meant I had to get damp in retrieving as when I made my first grab it disappeared under the perch. Once in hand I signed the damp log before returning to its perch. Thanks for the placement.
after reading previous logs and a lot of muggle activity at g z didn't really give it a serious go tree has obviously gone and a lot of slashing come pruning in that area.
Great spot here - spontaneous stop here as we were in the area and had a little spare time. TFTC
Now in white container. Great little find. Advise to take bread as duck muggles came over to check out what we were doing! TFTC
I left the pups asleep in the car while I dashed to find this one. It's a great spot. The hint didn't really give me a lot of hope for a quick find so I started thoroughly inspecting GZ. Oh - there! It wasn't quite the needle in a haystack container I had anticipated. Should've read the difficulty rating Nice one, thanks.
Good find with 'My Precious'. Description of the cache was a bit incorrect to start with. I'm learning that my mob is out by about 2-3 mts. Stated to rain while we on the hunt, then a muggle walking his dog came by. I've a suspicion it may have been 'yodabeach'.
Quick and easy find, such a lovely place to sit in the evening and watch the ducks!
Waiting right above it, thanks for the clue, now just waiting for muggles to leave so I can retrieve it (:

Nice park, friendly ducks. Given its size and appearance, we were surprised the cache was undisturbed. TFTC
Found very quickly this time, Nice big container it's a shame there was no swag inside it. I have lift a smiley face and a Jandle. TFTC
Had some time to spare between AIMS Games hockey games and so took the Jr. Cachers out to do a few caches near to where we had been playing. This was the closest and was a great opportunity to feed the friendly ducks, had we brought any bread. While the Jr. Cachers distracted the avian muggles Mr All7ofusNZ grabbed the cache after a brief search. It seems that Polly has well and truly flown the coop. TFTC NZFlossy.
Great first time cache there! Wasn't too hard to find once we read the hint. Nice park as well on a sunny day!
Out and about trying to clear off another chunk of Tauranga geocaches. Again accompanied by HKCB and Iammrwalker, this seems to becoming a habit. Early start, head to Tauranga, cache the whole day, say we will be home early, end up being home later and then grovelling out of the dog box. This time we set off from Hamilton at 4.30am to try and get more caching done before we had to turn around. We seem to be enjoying this so much we are planning a return visit again soon. Signed our logs as "HI1" as an acronym of our respective caching names. A great, laugh filled day that was thoroughly enjoyed.
A nice little park that we had to ourselves. Made a quick find and replace. Thanks for bringing us here

Another all day mission with 11HPG11 and iammrwalk, this time focusing on the other side of Tauranga. I had just finished logging the all the caches we had found in Papamoa when I looked at the map and thought why not have a crack at the other side as well!
A early start as we were on the road at 4.30am as we needed to be back not to late otherwise we'd be in the dog box when we got back home. Another fantastic day out with lots of the usual laughter and this time the weather was much better behaved. In total over 80 finds, with only a couple of DNF's and we got back in time to stay out of the dog boxes, just!
We signed the log books with Hi1, an acronym of our caching handles. A big thanks to all the CO's for all the placements, and for taking us to places we hadn't been before.
A neat little park! We had the place to ourselves so a nice easy find after a quick search. While searching we were being told of mrwalkers muggle experience while finding this cache with his family, which was quite entertaining. Thanks for the placement.

This is the second day of my stay in in the Tauranga/Mt Maunganui area finishing off the amendments to my new mobile home.
I found the cache open and lying on the ground with the logbook wringing wet. It needs to be replaced.
Cheers for the cache.

Checked on cache and found it sitting where it has sat for a long time. This is a nice easy cache
Looked around a bit unsuccessfully didn't feel like digging through a bunch of dead wet flax plus there were muggles around. Maybe another day
Looked everywhere, according to gps we were right on it, after reading other comments may have been muggled?????
