Unfortunately we are now no longer allowed in this area and all the trail signs have been removed. (Basically any part south of the Bibbulmun track towards the Weir.)

I recovered my own caches and called by and picked up this one as well as I do not want anyone else risking a fine for being in the area.

Container was brittle and fell apart but I have kept all the contents if you want to arrange collection of them.

This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.

05-Nov-19
Archiving this listing as we can no longer have caches in this area and walkers face a substantial fine if found walking these tracks.

Container no longer in place.

04-Aug-18
Found it four years after my first attempt. Much easier when it isn't after dark... Thanks.

05-Jul-18
Found it, in good condition. Very obvious spot, however it took me a while. Hint very misleading. TFTC

20-Nov-16
Found the cache quite quickly while hopping around to avoid the biting ants.

Found it with the wife and geokiddies - we took slime, penny and half penny - we left skateboard - car key ring - boomerang key ring TFTC

13-Aug-16
Thank you! Came out to camp overnight for something different, and headed out to grab a cache or two before setting the tent up. What a lovely spot. Thanks for bringing me here.

08-Apr-16
I decided to tackle the CPS series today, and this one was on the way. Once at GZ, I admired the great views of the lake and took some photos before setting about finding the cache. It didn't take long to find, and I signed the log before returning the cache as found Smile
TFTC potter23 ... A great spot [^]

03-May-15
Quick find.
Continued with sprinkling pre-decimal coins and added a 1911 penny (first one minted) and a 1954 half penny to the goodies.

14-Jan-15
When I say the cache title, it almost makes me sound like a Kiwi. We walked at the worst possibly time of day (midday) on a hot January day to reach GZ. I'm positive we didn't walk the most direct path but eventually made it from where we were camped at the Discovery Centre. Thanks for the cache.

14-Jan-15
Found while exploring the area with K.B. Thanks for the hide potter23; apologies for the initial error in my log.

21-Dec-14
Eventually, Rocks every where and then it was in the obvious place but not under the cairn. The biggest cache guardian a 100mm scorpion. Belonged in Africa I reckon. Huge but it didnt stop me getting to the cache. Thats for wimps!

19-Sep-14
We picked this up on part of our loop around the CPS series. We saw a few roos along the way and once st GZ we saw the likely camo and soon made the find. We completed the signing duties, grabbed the travel bug and re hid. Nice walk TFTC

Worth the journey! Great view!

16-Jul-14
Found/was shown the cache with/by its owner. Best trail leading to a cache I've seen so far. Beautiful area, and we even saw an echidna just next to the trail on the way to the cache.

16-Jul-14
Went to check on the cache today and gave it a little TLC. Introduced a new cacher to the sport. Cache is still in correct location, and is dry and in good shape. Added a few little goodies to trade. Please see above **NOTE before attempting the cache.
Good luck to all cachers out there!

I gave up looking for this one. It was dark and I was using a torch. Didn't really want to misstep and do myself a mischief.

Easy find. A bit too easy according to the last log, they didn't even have a gps. Moved it half a meter to a corner where it is easier to cover it better. TFTC.

Fairly quick find after referring to the hint. My GPSr couldn't find the spot. Nice views. Found a shortcut here from Chwiliwr's CPS-13 cache, but the short-cut might have been a bit more arduous than the longer route. My geo-wife thought so. SL. Dropped off Travel Bug Dog Tag TB.

This cache was a very nice bonus to be able to complete while doing the mammoth treck for the nearby CPS caches. An easy find once I read the hint, as the GPS doesn't like rock mountains and was moving all over the place. Couldn't linger very long to admire the view as there was still a long way to go before darkness descended. Took the GC. Thanks for the hunt potter23.

Found this cache just after catching up with hhheddy a short distance down the track. A nice spot you have found here. Thanks for the hunt.

06-Aug-11
Found the cache while out walking the trails in the Mundaring area and completing the CPS series of caches, nice rock formation. I didn't see the geocoin in the cache but then again I didn't look to hard. Just after leaving the cache I bumped into Austrackers. Thanks for the cache and the hunt.

05-Aug-11
This one slots in nicely between 13 and 14 of the new CPS series so I would expect it to be getting some more attention.

Out on the walking trail completing the new CPS series and this one fell nicely on

Great location despite the very slippery rocks.

Found this one as an aside to completing the nearby section of CPS series. By the time we got here it was starting to get serious about raining. The rocks were very slippery. Nice spot. TFTC potter23

STF at 3:20pm Smile

I had looked on the map before I left home to get a rough idea of where the cache was, and was pleasantly surprised to be able to walk right up to the cache and find it without even taking the GPS out of the bag! Smile

Great views from here, and a lovely walk to the cache. I took the trackables that Chwiliwr left earlier in the day.

Thanks for the cache potter23!

26-May-11
After doing the two nearby caches along the Bibbulmum Track I came back along to this cache and found the cache OK. Was an empty log so was *FTF* at around 9am. Swapped some trackables.

Thanks for the cache.
