Dropped in to check this guy and discovered that he is indeed missing. Will be constructing a new hide in the next week
Not found at 11:15 am.
On a short 1.5 day road trip with Fleabag- to gather a few selected things but other random stuff as we came across it.
The rain held off this morning so we parked the car in town and offloaded the electric scooters and cruised around town for a while. Much easier than driving and trying to park. It was awesome fun.
Had a look around, found a lot of non fake snails and non fake gum nuts but no cache.
Thanks krankitkiwi for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Definitely hidden or taken by the gardener! We have spent two long visits here and have failed both times. Time to log a DNF and move on. The gardens are certainly looking in tip top condition and this morning there was a tree lopping team doing some pruning on some low hanging branches. Maybe a result of the winds we had yesterday.
Couldn't find it but it was very busy so I couldn't look very hard. I'll come back another time to have a more thorough look.
Did not find, not sure if missing, I will attempt it again some time. Lovely view regardless
Abarich and I were here for a good while this morning. Safe to say we were looking right at the cache the whole time. We decided to go and do another multi and come back after. With some PAF help from the last finder we returned and located the cache quickly. Great hide love this type!
Thanks H_3 for fresh replacement log. Great hide. No muggles to worry about... These gardens are beautiful. TFTC
Dropped buy this little guy and it seems like the "Gardner " has struck again. Will be replacing the container in the coming week
You pwned us n00bs. Also hid from us cachers.
We will return.
Look look look. You are only as good as your next find.
Thanks and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

#3924 We think the gardener was lurking nearby today, but a bit higher up and away from view. Didn't matter as Mrs BGF soon spied the cache hide and any suspicious looking activity that may catch the gardeners eye was thwarted. One positive thing we can say about the gardener is that he keeps the gardens here in immaculate condition! TFTC and bringing us here krankitkiwi, nice hide too!
We were interrupted by a dear old gent who drove up and parked next to us and then got out to due his exercises right beside us. Had to wait until he'd finished. This was very clever camo indeed. Took a while to spot. tftc
I was quite bemused by a botanic gardens that you drove around, especially one that didn’t seem to encourage stopping. Stop though we did and found the cache with no trouble. It was missing some protection for the log so I thought I’d be clever and turn the log holder around. Wrong!!!!! I could not remove it. Took the cache to the car to operate on while Confised Aphorism did laps of the gardens. Eventually pried it free and returned it as I found it. Ahhhhhh. We did enjoy the group of penny farthing cyclists we saw headed to Winchlesea. Thanks.
It wasn't the gardener I had to hide from. It was the snoozing muggle. He wasn't going anywhere. Good thing there is a view to pretend to be looking at. Ok let's see. Read some logs, take our time. Bingo! Could be it. A sneaky retrieval and done! Beautiful walk here.
Found it. Excellent hide!! Beautiful garden nearby. Thanks krankitkiwi for placing this cache
Cheeky little hide my auntys learning the different finds she spotted sneaky hide from up top while i check the rock wall from down.
A lovely day for a walk around the gardens, a very clever cache. Fav point from me! Tftc
Lovely spot for a cache! Took a few minutes to find: the GPS was pretty much spot on
Snuck away for a long weekend and this one had eluded us in the past as we only had limited time to search and the muggle risk was too high.
This time we had reinforcements of some muggles we are trying to convert and, luckily for us, they were up for the hunt. Took a little while but we were determined and eventually had this one in our hands.
Great find, and nestled cache back into place.
Thanks for the cahce krankitkiwi.

Seeing as how I and n0w0rries were already in the Gardens and this particular cache had a fair few favourite points we decided to head over to GZ to check it out. N0w0rries took the 'low road' and I took the 'high'. I chose correctly and spotted it immediately.
After taking a seat at the thoughtfully provided bench (muggles use it for the views, we use it for both views and log signing) we were soon on our way.

A short walk from the nearby cannon.
A thorough search by myself and leafotwind soon turned up the nicely hidden cache.
Grouse views of the lake from here.
Thanks krankitkiwi.

I started in the right spot just not the right angle of approach but soon had the smiley. Tftc
Nice quick find on a lovely day. It was interesting to see the flying foxes in large numbers making a noise in the nearby trees. TFTC
Just as I arrived the gardeners went by in their truck. I waved at them and didn’t see them anymore. It was early morning so practically no muggles around. It took me a few minutes to get my hands on the cache. Well done.
Called in this evening to check this little guy, and am happy to report that its still nicely tucked away
No luck for us today. We didn't want to harm the wall, so we gave up after about 10 minutes of searching.
Found with FUF009 and LouiseAnn.
Main goal of the day was to get to the Glow worms event in Melba Gully.
But of course that's a long way to go for just an event, so Colac was put on the cards and we meandered our way around from cache to cache.
Boy there are a lot of nanos here! Bleurgh!
We had fun in the sun and nice scenery.
We spent the majority of the morning in Colac, the afternoon out on the backroads, and the evening in Melba Gully.
Thanks to all the COs for their caches. Tftc

Find #7156
Found with sharkiefan and LouiseAnn.
A day caching in Colac with great friends and then to attend the Glow Worms event later on. After catching up in the main drag it was caching time.
An interesting little park, was great that we could drive around it.
this one took quite some time out of the day. Just as we got onto a PAF i managed to locate the bison tube.

We picked this cache up at 11:56am.
Sharkiefan got us moving early in the morning to met up with FUF009 for a day of caches around Colac before we headed south for the Glow worms event. A very pleasent day was had by all, oh and we picked up some caches! A lot of nanos...... a lot
I am not a fan of this sort of hide, as it encourages people to try and take the wall apart, which can lead to unintentional damage to the location. It took us ages to locate the cache and FUF009 only made the find as we connected with a previous finder for a hint. There were many many ants.
Thanks for the cache H_3.

what a tricky one with so many rocks. deserves a fav point from me.
Once again we went to Melbourne to see my bro’ and to celebrate our dual birthdays even tho he is older than I. We flew to Auckland and onto Melbourne and caught the St Kilda Express which was absolutely great as my Bro lives near there at S Caulfield, and he picked us up from there. After staying a couple of nights there when I could visit a couple of caches that were near by, we then set of on the inland route down to Warrnambool for a few nights , stopping at Lake Colac to see the water level as at our last visit 10 years ago there was hardly any water to be seen in the lake for the poor rowing club there! I am pleased to say that the water level at the moment is up the highest it has been for some time so said a local dog walker. At Warrnambool we saw the Night show at the Museum there , which was great, and then visited the area by day the next day. We had very lovely scones and jam and cream at the little café there and enjoyed seeing the ceramic Peacock that survived the wrecking of the Loch Ard and then sat in the water for several more decades. I also had time to locate several caches here and could put down the Travel bugs I had brought with me from N. Z.
After that we travelled down the The Great Ocean road and visit the many earth caches , along the coast , including the Loch Ard wrecking site and beach as well as other trad ones. After stopping at Apollo bay over night for our celebratory dinner there we then went up to geelong and spent a night here, before heading back into Melbourne for another birthday dinner with my bro’s family. Grand chn etc etc in which I was included as well.
The next couple of days we spent in the city centre and I could visit shops and caches around the area. Including the two virtuals .
Thank you to all the cache owners of the caches I visited and I have sometime included a nother comment pertaining to that specific cache.

Another Great hide Loving these caches around Colacs area LOTS of variations some Ideas we are taking home to Merbein near Mildura Great Garden to visit can drive around too. TFTC
I had no trouble hiding from the gardener, I knew exactly where they were, as they where busy blowing their horn trying to upset the local flying fox population. Just as they seemed to be failing at their allocated task, I wasn't having much luck either. The cold wind blowing from across the lake made me want to head for warmer parts a few times. But, persistence paid off. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache.
Took forever even after 2 PAF. Irony is I have two of these hides myself and knew exactly what to seek. Only trouble is that Autumn going on Winter is not the best season for this xache. CIGC TNLN TFTC FP.
Great hide. Almost gave up on this one, we even emailed the owner.
We are using the app on our phone (this is really inaccurate), but before leaving we sat and took in the beautiful views, having a chat mrs tatts said 'well if I was going to I would ........ ' after a little search cache was in hand.

Sean.75, kenare and I headed to Melba Gully for a barbie and a few caches along the way. kenare had hot hands on this one!! tftc
Waited around for a bit as there were muggles sitting on the seat. Realised they were there for the long haul so went to find "Pelican Point" (which we didn't!). When we walked back we had the place to ourselves and so the search began. Difficult but eventually put our hands on it. Thanks krankitkiwi for a well-cammoed hide!
Nice hide.
Spendings three weeks starting near Colac so this will be one of many.

This is late but we were in the gardens on our return journey home from Warrnambool. We tried for a good 20 mins before giving up. We didnt hide from the gardener but we had from passing muggles. Tyftc
After finding the first cache today its been down hill from there another did not find. I guess im just out of touch or just not very helpful in finding things from my wheelchair unfortunatly the hint didn't help us as what it made us think of didnt provide a find.. sigh maybe next time i guess
Took a little finding especially after last night's storm. Many thanks and greetings from UK
Found with redrosiegirl and zoe whilst checking out the lake. Great camouflage! Took about 15 mins of searching before this cache was in hand. Tftc.
Glorious day. Perfect view, first cache for the new year. Stopped in the cafe for lunch on a trip to colac for the day. Thanks for the cache paul and brenda.
On our way to robe for a family holiday we stopped of at the lake for lunch. Whilst the wife was feeding my daughter I decided to go for a walk. As we found the cache the sun came out for the first time today. Great vantage point. And great hide
Finally got this one after three tries. Colac caches are some of the best in Aus, equal to Inverell NSW, my fave place for caching. Husband, a former Colac boy, is keen to get away as I get too absorbed. Good work.
Called in on the way home from school pick up to check on this guy. Am happy to say its still in place.
I had three goes at finding this but could not come up with the goods. Will watch it.
Found this morning while wandering around the gardens. Cold fingers did not help getting the opening happening. Great view. Many thanks for the cache.
Staying in one of the local cabin park for two nights whilst exploring the area. Kids and muggle wife all asleep by 9, so me and geodog snuck out for a couple of ours. Lots of police about tonight so I thought it was only a matter of time before I get questioned but managed to evade them. Will try to sneak out tomorrow and get a few more TFTC
In Colac with AutumnTree for a workshop and we took advantage of the road trip to include some caching!
Our first find for the day, and a straightforward one too! Different locations seem to have their own caching personalities. We found that Colac favours small caches.
Log signed and all replaced as found.

Out with MaggieDot today to do some sneaky caching after finishing our work in Colac. This was our first cache for the day and a nice one it was too. The gardener just wandered past as we were pulling up so we successfully hid from him. TFTC.
Great hide. Had an idea of the possible locations, just a matter of finding it. TFTC.
Colac be very proud! What a magnificent botanic garden - great hide, great view - it ticked all the boxes for me. TFTC a fav from me
The gates were closed so we enjoyed a walk to this one. Great hide, great view, so giving it a favourite point. TFTC
On my way to the Portland event camped overnight at the Colac lake.
Collected a few caches around the lake this being one of them.
Thanks krankitkiwi FTC. Fav added.

Need the hint tho when we knew the hint we just didnt look properly the first time. Great hide...love ur work
Looked around for a bit then had to use the clue. Nice hide, great views and a peaceful spot. Thanks.
Last find of the day for me while taking a wander around the gardens while waiting for the inlaws. A nice hide here and thankfully muggle free today. Thanks for the hide H_3
Our first cache on our way to Adelaide. Called in to have a look at Lake Colac and the beautiful gardens. The kids were amazed at the bats hanging from the trees and loved the playground. Very cleverly camouflaged cache which didn't take too long for us to find. SL TFTC H-3
